Earthly Pleasures Cafe reviews
78 What an amazing building full of character and atmoshere.
An area for kids to play so couples and catch ups are not interupted.
Great staff amazing fresh quality food will return
Everything was wonderful here today. Beautiful, nourishing food, lovely coffee, raw desserts, great service, amazing building and atmosphere. Top marks. Will return!
Great location with beautiful outdoor location along with great service. The food wasn’t anything standout compared to the quality of everything else.
Unique setting of a quaint restored cottage, outdoor sitting is charming! Loved the banana bread and BLT, and the Turmeric Latte and Chai Latte (made from scratch) were all yumz!
(Choice of music was ‘eclectic’ at best- not my taste, maybe something different?)
We visited Earthly Pleasures after having completed a hike around the Kokoda Track Memorial and surrounding trails. Being located far enough from the main strip in Belgrave meant that we could enjoy a relaxing breakfast away from the traffic.
My friend and I each had a coffee, main menu item and a dessert.
My personal highlight would have been the chocolate brownie, however that was overshadowed by the magnificence of the granite mansion itself.
Thoroughly enjoyable, will return again if I find myself in the area.
Had a great time @Earthly Pleasures!
Hidden away is a great venue with both inside and outside dining.
Had such a great feel to it with beautiful stone work and gardens.
Was great in summer with the outdoor seating, but can see it being lovely in winter with an indoor fireplace too.
? The menu was great and food delicious!
️ Great coffee
Staff and service were so friendly and attentive
A nicely setup exquisite blue stone cottage. Best for vegan and gluten friendly dishes. Vegetable lentil soup, bread dip, folded omelette and pesto wrap. I wish they can also include waffle and pancakes.
What a stunning 1930's heritage building! My wife and I had brunch here before riding the Puffing Billy and enjoyed the cupcakes especially.
This is a great venue and when the staff gets it right, it is spot on, however the last 2 occassions they lost our reservation
The outside garden area is nice, but I am so confused why there is only two tables when they could have about 20 down there. The kids love playing whilst we sit to eat. Maybe they could have picnic blankets or bean bags for the kids. The inside is a bit old, but the menu is lovely. Staff always friendly. Just wish the would make better use of outside. The weather is amazing for it and it's in a great spot in belgrave. Good vegan options.
A beautiful building, great variety of food catering to all requirements, dog friendly and great, warm staff.
The food and drinks are always good when I go. Mid Range prices and great vegan options that are delish. There is always something to meet any dietary needs. Beautiful place, great atmosphere and weather permitting kids can run around front or back garden.
Great location, good food, enjoyed sitting outside in the shade on a sunny day. Felt a bit like you’re paying more for the setting than the food but enjoyable nonetheless. Would be nicer if the traffic noise could reduced.
Lovely place for a brunch with friends but service could be improved, fairly slow. Waited for about 30 min for a chef's special.
Nice location and atmosphere. The old Jorgensen family (Monsalvat) building is a Belgrave landmark. The coffee and snacks are good - although they can forget you sometimes if you're outside. A friend and myself often catch up there for coffees and they're happy for you to linger without buying food. There is a rear entrance from the main Belgrave car park as well, but if you see a chap standing there with a goblet of vino during opening hours (it often happens) he's NOT the maitre d letting you know its licensed. (He just lives there in separate accommodation next to the entrance).
This is seriously a quality cafe/restaurant. The building is an beautiful old estate, the food is delicious, the service is friendly, parking is super easy as it backs onto the woolies carpark and it’s a short walk from the train station. They have a good variety of all dietary options (the vegan meals are actually good, hallelujah). I have brought friends and family here for lunches and it has always been a good time.
What a beautiful place to dine, inside and out! This gorgeous stonework building was home to some delicious coffee and food. We had the turmeric soy latte with cinnamon added as well as a vegan upside down cake and soy ice cream. I would absolutely love to return here when I'm back in Australia. Hopefully, I'll be there in time for brunch!
