While me and my partner typing this, we have a 6 week old son soundly sleeping.

This wouldn't have been possible without Dr. Alex Polyakov being our specialist all throughout our IVF journey right up to giving birth. Dr Alex has been very punctual, direct to the point and knowledgeable.

I would also commend Debra and Mitzi for being so nice and accommodating, so easy to talk to and always willing to help.

I cant imagine going anywhere else and we cant thank them enough.

Dr Alex Polyakov came well recommended to me by Dr Kate Stern. He delivered my miracle child through c-section. He did such an amazing job with the stitches not only from outside (which can hardly see) but been told from inside too when i have got scan done inside. He was so good with all the appointments I had with him throughout my pregnancy. He even removed my fibroid during my c-section. I was driving less than 6days after I got home from the hospital. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. Infact i will be soon going to him after almost 9yr of having my daughter for a gyno appointment.

Dr. Polyakov was my obstetrician at Epworth Freemason East Melbourne. We had a loss in the year 2020 baby was just 23 weeks (different hospital). Later we came to Dr. Alex for help. He gave a through check about me, my health and my past. After I fell pregnant he made sure everything was okay with a detailed review. When something came up suspicious he made sure it was handled then and there. Doctor helped us deliver my daughter this May. Thank you Doctor Alex for your constant support and assurance. Without you this journey would not have been easy for us. Forget not to mention lovely receptionist Debra and Mitzi for their quick response and extended help when needed. Really appreciated. I had Alex as my obstetrician, guiding me through my pregnancy and performing my c-section. He is an incredibly knowledgeable professional and kind and caring person. My surgery was a walk in a park thanks to him- I was up and running on day 2. He is definitely not just one of the good obstetricians in Melbourne - he is the best. Could not recommend highly enough.

Very knowledgeable, honest and reliable. His priority is his patients' health. He simply would recommend his colleagues if they were more experienced than him in a specific case.

My partner and I went to see Dr Polyakov. He is a fair bit older than me and Dr kept saying to him that he was fine and blamed / accused me of not being fertile. He made me cry multiple times and I had to switch Obs. Dr Polyakov showed me a lack of empathy and MIVF is a money hungry business in the end.

We got soooo lucky to have been referred to Dr Alex from the get go. We have tried IVF with him and it was successful from the first try. I still remember him saying to us that "it only takes 1" as we only had 1 embryo and were a bit deflated.
Here we are with a beautiful 3.5 y boy. I can't thank him enough for everything he did for us. His level of knowledge is outstanding, I cannot find a doctor more available for his patients than him. He is so professional and I doubt we can find someone as good as him.
Let's not forget his secretary Mitzi who is very friendly, and welcoming. Thank you both, you have made the motherhood journey very pleasant, while we had no support from families around, we will never forget! Em

Dr Alex is a great OB who is super knowledgeable and informative. He always listens to what his patients are up to and actions accordingly, leading to the perfect outcomes. I really miss the past 10 pregnancy months of meeting him since he is so nice and makes me feel warm and confident of my pregnancy journey. My tough delivery was completely managed and supervised by him. Thankfully, we welcomed our baby girl safe and sound. Also, his assistants, Debra and Mitzi, are friendly and kind as well.

Alex has been my ObGyne for almost about three years now. He is the best and we wouldn't have it any other way. He is an exceptional surgeon and knows what he's doing. We consulted him after trying to get pregnant for a long time. He suggested we go for Laproscopy to assess any underlying issues. And just like his assessment, It was concluded I had endometriosis. It was then after we got treated and got pregnant.

We are very delighted and thankful to him for bringing (planned c-section) our little bundle of joy (baby girl) into this world. The scar healed quickly and the surgery went well. He is amazing, always greets you with so much warmth and has a great sense of humour. Alex made us feel very calm throughout our journey. We can't wait to have another bub soon and our choice will be Alex. Highly recommend him.

An accomplished specialist knows his science and is always at the forefront of women's health and fertility issues. Appointments can be brief but that means he runs on time. He is always open to questions and answers truthfully and knowledgably. Together with his team in Mitzi & Debra, they provide a wonderful and caring journey.

My husband and I have been trying for baby for more than a decade. Despite consulting two fertility specialists we have been unsuccessful. We were almost at the point of giving up until we were referred to Dr Alex Polyakov by our General Practitioner (GP), who has very high regard of Dr Alex.

I still remember clearly our first appointment with Dr Alex, he asked many questions to understand our circumstances and what we have gone through with other specialists. He said if we were to continue to consult him, his advice for me was to consider laparoscopy surgery to examine if there are any issues before deciding anything else. We were impressed with Dr Alex’s wealth of knowledge and his straightforwardness to us. We decided to continue with the consultations, and it was our best decision ever!

Within 4 months from our first consultation, Dr Alex has helped us to conceive our beautiful baby girl who is now 3 months old. If only we consulted him earlier!

Throughout the journey from the first consultation until the delivery of our baby girl, Dr Alex has been very supportive and caring. Due to specific circumstances, we had to go for elective caesarean. I am very impressed with Dr Alex as my scar healed so well that it is almost invisible! I highly recommend Dr Alex to anyone looking for a fertility specialist, obstetrician, or gynaecologist.

Alex has been great to deal with, respectful and made us feel like we mattered and he cared. Very open with care without bombarding you with information. We are pregnant after our 1st cycle with Alex after seeing another MIVF specialist for several years. Couldnt be happier!

Dr Polyakov is a wonderful, straight to the point, doctor. He performed my myomectomy which is the reason we were able to get pregnant and I am so glad we chose Alex to deliver our baby girl. Due to the myomectomy it had to be a planned caesarean which Alex did in the most professional manner.
He is professional, confident and very knowledgeable. During this COVID-19 pandemic he was always available. I had all my consultations in person and on time. Alex was up to date with all information COVID related and alleviated any fears I had about having a baby during these uncertain times.
Alex’s secretarial staff must also be commended. They are very professional and always helpful when I called to make/change appointments or have any questions.
Should I be lucky enough to have another baby, I will definitely be asking Alex to be my obstetrician.

Highly recommend Dr Polyakov, he delivered our daughter and took care of us both throughout the pregnancy. He is thorough and makes sure all questions are answered. Dr Alex was the BEST decision we made to look after myself and baby through our first pregnancy.
