Was very happy to have Dr. Alex Polyakov as my doctor throughout my pregnancy. The whole team at Dr Polaycov Rooms were incredible including Naomi, Debra (was always welcomed with a smile and genuineness a big mention to Midwife Jannette who worked alongside Alex. There wasn’t a time where I would reach out with my endless questions or queries and wasn’t received with the highest professionalism and effort in helping answer and resolve.

Dr. Alex and the whole team made my pregnancy very enjoyable prior, during and after birth.

Dr Alex Polyakov was very friendly and professional, as this was my first pregnancy he made me feel very comfortable and reassured about everything that was happening, he delivered my baby via c-section without any issues and I am very happy with the service he has provided.

I highly recommend Dr. Alex Polyakov. We had a quite challenging journey towards pregnancy with difficulty conceiving for about 3 years. We reached out to Dr. Polyakov and he immediately went down to some options to check how I am doing fertility-wise. When all options were exhausted, we decided to go to him once more for an IVF treatment. He is kind, caring and very professional in helping us through the journey. After a successful IVF, we decided to continue to being looked after by him during our pregnancy and he made sure that my baby and I are safe from the early stages to the delivery. Upon recognizing immediately that we may experience a complicated delivery, he was quick to decide with the best option to get our baby out before things get worst and now we have a happy healthy baby boy. We could not thank him enough and his team together with his secretaries Deborah and Naomi. He went far beyond our expectations and will be very happy to go back to him should we decide for our next pregnancy.

It’s taken me a long time to write a review because I was struggling with what to write.

The journey through IVF is one filled with uncertainty and emotion, and at every step Dr Polyakov balanced giving us the best possible information (good or otherwise) all the while being mindful and compassionate towards us as we navigated the unknown.

He and his team made it a little easier to have hope and we trusted him fully throughout.

I cannot recommend Dr Polyakov and his team highly enough. Dr Polyakov is a great doctor who is very knowledgeable, and I am so thankful he was able to assist me through my journey. The ladies at reception were so lovely and always accommodating.

They made a challenging situation a little brighter and less daunting.

Hands down the best Fertility Expert. He is super smart, skilled, and knowledgeable. Dr Alex is a confident practitioner who knows what he is doing. He is a man with little words. He tells you enough to keep you informed without worrying too much. He answers all your questions patiently. He always prioritises the most natural way to support the body through IVF process, without needing too much medications unnecessarily. Extremely calm and thorough. Dr Alex’s care has helped me to go from being told that I would need to consider surrogacy (from another FS) to being pregnant now. I will always be grateful to the greatest gift of my life.

I was told by a previous doctor that I would not be able to get pregnant and I would have go through a hysterectomy due to multiple fibroids in my uterus. So I decided to get a second opinion and went to Alex. And it was the best decision of my life, Alex was amazing and guided me through every step of this journey. No hysterectomy and now have a baby. He is an amazing doctor and highly recommended. His expertise, professionalism and care is second to none. I’m forever grateful to Dr. Polyakov.

For months I was trapped in the endless loop of the Public System before I got fed up and contacted the office of A/Prof Alex Polyakov.

I spoke to the lovely and kind Debra who gave me ample time to tell her my sob story of suffering.

The very next day, Debra ensured that I got to speak to the man himself who offered advice and provided reassurance without making me feel he was in a rush to get off the phone.

Within a week and without any fuss, I was on the surgery table having a desperately required Laparoscopic Myomectomy. Three days after that I was out buying fruit at the market.

Major surgery was a complete non-event with Dr Alex and his team. Should I ever need anything else chopped out, I have no hesitation about who I’ll call.

Dr. Polyakov treated me for an almost a year and finally I became pregnant. He instilled a great deal of confidence in me and my husband when both us were on the verge of giving up. He is extremely professional, exceptional surgeon and treats his patients with utmost care. He is a very calm and collected person with a wealth of knowledge. We are forever grateful and cannot thank him enough for helping us to start our little family.

And with his support, honesty and positive attitude, we now have our miracle baby boy. Our case was touch and go. Dr. Alex kept us informed throughout our pregnancy and performed 2 stitches, with the second one being very risky. But with Dr. Alex's skills and knowledge I came out still pregnant and made it till 26 weeks and 5 days, giving birth to a beautiful baby boy. We are so grateful to Dr. Alex and his team. Dr Polyakov is cool, calm and competent, which made my wife and I feel comfortable throughout our pregnancy and the safe delivery of our little girl. After a difficult birthing experience with our first child, Dr Polyakov showed extra care to avoid complications and made us feel safe and heard from our very first appointment. Thank you!

Dr Polyakov is very knowledgeable, patient, punctual, understanding and dedicated fertility doctor and strives to meet his patient/clients needs. He may come across as frank, short or brief in consultations, but do not take this negativity, as he has his strategy planned in order for you to reach your goal. If you are respectful, he is always their for you and contactable via texts.
He helped my partner and I for the last 2 years with fertility treatment, which then ended up in IVF procedures and that has now produced a viable pregnancy, with my partner now being 12 weeks pregnant.
We thank him very much for his accomplishments to date and hopefully, God willing, we will use his services in the future to grow our family.

Dr Alex is fantastic as is the clinic/staff. He preformed my excision laparoscopy last July and recovery, post op care and quality of life and pain improvement was seamless. My only regret is not seeing him sooner. Excellent in his understanding and treatment of endometriosis. Thank you!

Doctor Alex is a man of few words. I went to him for a second opinion and was overly underwhelmed by the information he provided to me (or lack thereof) after my many many probing. No one should have to EXTRACT information out of a doctor. A doctor should willingly share whatever the patient needs to know with them!
