Caught up with some mates for a drink. Pretty pleasant boozer with outdoor seating. Wasn’t a huge amount of options for vegan food but my mate ordered a Parma and it was the biggest we have ever seen. He couldn’t even finish it. Pretty quiet roadside dining, inside looks well decorated but it was a nice day so we didn’t really check out the inside. Would go again but would eat elsewhere.

Singapore noodles were good and they could even do it without garlic etc (meaning very flexible). Nice ambient atmosphere inside and on the corner of a tree lined street! Good and quick service but not consistent amount everyone. Also it would be great to see more vegetarian options. Definitely recommend.

Really lovely little local spot. Good variety of beers on tap. Tasty pub meals. Pool table inside. And you can even play your own music inside! What more do you need) - Dog friendly too (See attached image)

Friendly staff, good options for ordering: either at the bar or via the QR code system that they have. I always feel at home there.

Was made to feel guilty and pressured to order more food as they said they had to turn others away to have our booking. But there was also a diff bar man with glasses who was kind with good customer service.

Food and drinks were absolutely delicious, could have been faster with the service. Recommend to go at a less busier time.

Owner/manager can be very rude if you want to ask them questions about their establishment. Being told aggressively that takeaways are not something they do and being looked at like scum for even having the audacity to ask is not what I like to think of as good hospitality. And if you're thinking about calling and asking anything over the phone be prepared to be told off for asking and then get hung up on. If you have time to answer the phone you have time to politely advise your customers about their enquiries. Or so I thought. On multiple occassions I've had similar issues and finally decided to give it my honest opinion.

Stopped in for a drink on a Friday afternoon. Wasn't all that busy (still Christmas holidays). Great selection of beers on tap. Staff were quick and friendly.

A comfortable bar, with a range of seating options inside and out. Myself and my friend enjoyed sitting inside on some lovely leather chairs, while drinking many different kinds of beers on tap. Lucky it's so close to the train station as well

It was fine. The decor is in my opinion pretty gross and needs updating but seeing as the main client seemed to be male tradies coming in after work for a booze up and a game of pool, thats fine cos generally they have the taste of a broken toaster. The music was at just the right volume and the feature made of cutlery around the fireplace was super cool. Nice old building.

Came here for a work event but wanted something small as I was still quite full from a big and late breakfast. I asked if it was possible to order an item from the kids menu but it wasn't possible, which was fine. The owner's/manager's (?) response was quite rude and didn't offer any other suggestions to accomodate. So I decided to order one of the sides, garlic bread. The service for garlic bread was slow. It was a side and only garlic bread. The bread was just fine, it didn't have enough garlic to it though. I think the serving size was good. Since I couldn't finish it I asked if they had a paper bag or anything instead of it just going to landfill, but it was a bar so I didn't think they would but it wouldn't hurt to ask. In a rude tone, I was told, 'No, we don't do takeaways'. Reviewing as believe the staff politeness could be improved and maybe suggesting other possible menu alternatives if something isn't available.

Great beer, great food, a good atmosphere and nice staff too. There are some generous portions served here, so only order the "Sticky Date Pudding" if you've got room for it. (It's huge.but very yummy!)

Manager with glasses and nose piercing apparently was ‘annoyed’ by my friends and I having a good time playing pool. We would come down to this venue often to play pool and have a few social drinks, but after our experience tonight I won’t be coming back. After ordering a round of drinks and laughing/singing along to a song playing we apparently were annoying the manager and not catering for patrons (when there was 5 people including myself and 2 friends inside). We all didn’t feel combfotable and quite upset after we are told we are ‘annoying’ when we are just having a few social drinks. Disgusting behaviour from someone who manages the venue.

This my first visited from long time ago, the lovely Classic Style still the same and I love it, Great update is beautiful dance stag with Top DJ, you wanna dance and near the lovely Bar or you wanna take a seat on romance corner table with another Bar, Bartender, Staff, Customers Services all Wonderful.

Great food, as well as personal, friendly service. Been coming here for years! They even have a guitarist on Sunday evenings who is always great.

Nice place to have dinner and drinks with some live music or dj over the weekend. Great for groups. Drinks are reasonable.

Went out for a friends birthday, half the table got their meal and the other half didn't after waiting 1hr. The kitchen doesn't seem to be able to cope with a limited menu. Where is Gordon Ramsay when you need him?

Spent a couple of hours there having a couple beers and ciders with the better half.
Makes it all better with a really talented fella belting out some classic songs along with some newbies. Staff are very friendly and helpful (picky with ciders).

Plenty of kids in the pub having a ball, parents running around behind them.
Very cute Sunday session.
Good way to end the weekend.

Tasty and quick! I love the atmosphere - was there on Sunday night. There was some amazing life music. But at the same time when I wanted to eat I enjoyed my food in a quiet room right there. And I forget to mention the fire place! Great restaurant, highly recommended!

I was pleasantly surprised by this venue, plenty of room, and plenty of staff available for bar service. Good selection of independent beer on tap and in the fridge. Nice seating areas inside and out. Could use an extra pool table.
