Awesome Chicken Parma. Thick and soft. My husband said it was one of the best he had and he has tried many in Melbourne.

Marvellous chicken parma. Used to think that a well known hotel in Kew had the best but the chicken parma at the Doutta Galla Hotel beats that hands-down. Well done.

For what can only be described as a cold mid winters day.
The sun wanting to break through the clouds.
With a Cozy surround soon to be found.
Doutta Galla Hotel appears for the win.
For a cozy lunch soon to be held within.
Once the orders were managed to be had.
Only minor confusions, news to be had.
Sorted out efficiency is key.
Onto the entrees, definitely.

Chicken wings all around.
Perfection is found.
Crunchy and zesty.
All but not found.
On to the Mains, sure for a grin.
Steaks succulent.
And juicy indeed.
Work colleagues outing to escape the office walls for lunch.
Definitely did not disappoint.
Laughter and warmth, bellys full of delight.

Back to work.
Motivated indeed.
What a better way on a cold mid winters day.

The last Saturday I wanted to go to have a beer with my friend as usually we do but the security lady was so rude asking about why I had on my hand one small take away food container, she said that I couldn’t go in with my container that I had to leave this outside, at the end we preferred go to another bar and avoid this annoying situation.

Great place for lunch and dinner!

We come past once a month for our little lunch break together.

Love the atmosphere, great service, quick food, plenty of tap options. Definitely would recommend sitting in the main dining area, really bustling with the vintage vibe. Garlic Aioli available at each table too! Vego Parma available on Wednesday too!

Great place to catch up for a drink inside or out. Kitchen was closed but I've had their food before and it's delicious. Casual catch ups recommended.

Not even deserving of one star. This venue and their staff are complicit in the violent hate speech and verbal abuse perpetrated towards members of the LGBTQI+ community by patrons. Do not go here if you want to feel safe.

Went here for dinner.didn't think I was going to be a fan.but ended up really enjoying myself and the dinner I had.nice pub and more open to coming back in the future

Went there to dine as a family. Were abruptly told to move tables as we had sat at one that was reserved (despite fact there was no reservation sign on it). Felt that the man was quite rude at the time.
Atmosphere was nice enough. Staff had zero interaction - simply places meal in front of you (no smiles, no eye contact etc.) so definitely lacked personalised service.
Food was nice. My son's chicken nuggets tasted real and fresh. Salad was crunchy and again fresh.
My husband's Parma was humungous. He really enjoyed it.
My beef burger was nice enough however lacked seasons and definitely needed more cheese. Chips were nice and not soggy or oily.
Overall an ok experience.
Staff definitely could be trained to be more personable.

Great service, amazing staffs, beautiful antique decor. Nice chips especially with their garlic aioli signature. Definitely will come back to try more food. One of my favourite place to chill with live performance in this suburb.

Perfect place for a date to be honest although I went with my mate lol, love the vibe there. Parma was spot on and the food was fresh and fully worth it. Recommend to try the buffalo wings as well. Will definitely drop in again.

How do you justify a surcharge on drinks because "it is a races day"?

Excellent customer service and great meals are provided at this venue. Good variety of beers on tap. Steak night every Tuesday. Best to book if your party is more than two people.

The Doot is always a favourite go-to pub. Great selection of crafties on tap and on tins. Fun decor and music. Food is surprisingly good and the Wednesday Parma special is fantastic value!
