I went to dosa hut we ordered masala Dosa which was tasteless and we ordered chicken noodles took 30 minutes to arrived and the restaurant wasn't busy that time. I am suggesting everyone
never go to eat in here. Not worth to spend money in here.

Worst experience! Worst customer service …waited so long for the food we ordered and they dint bother to even check when we reminded them twice. Left starving. Wasted our time. Will never come back.

Very aggrieved to write this review as I am a hospitality professional as well so don't like to write anything negative about restaurant operators. But the trauma is too deep. Staff quite inhospitable as though it is a very transactional relationship. No warmth or friendliness forget hospitality. Ordered their signature item: Dosa. Sambar comes looking like water with no trace of vegetables. Asked for the manager who was not willing to share his name. When complained about it, he said no one else has complained.that was his response. Asked if he was a south Indian and he said why. I said to know if he understands what comprises a good sambar. He didn't respond, took everything personally and then said you don't have to pay. I had ordered a lassi so I said I want to pay for that but not for the dosa which I had left eaten half and discarded. No apology, no remorse.whoever said Customer service and food were integral to hospitality should visit this place to see what not to do when you run a restaurant LOL. Never going back to get insulted or waste time and money. Later one staff confessed that their regular chef was away hence the poor food. All this can happen but there is a redressal procedure which clearly the staff had not trained in that. Returned home hungry and very disappointed. Discovered good options after that so thanks to this experience, it opened more doors!

A VERITABLE CULINARY HOLIDAY!
This food was SO good! In these times when I can rarely leave my house, this dining experience took me to a wonderful paradise far away. It saved me jumping off something tall. THANKS DOSA HUT!

Mixed Platter and couple of Cocktails. Great combo. Highly recommend this Indian restaurant. Very good experience with Dosahut Geelong. Extensive menu and their scan and order at the table is pretty impressive and quick. Best indian restaurant in Geelong that cooks fresh food,

Worst customer service, and horrible stale food. This is the second time my order in last month was stuffed up and when I get home and called to advise the staff was rude and unhelpful and hung up while I was explaining that u gave me a wrong order. Then went back to the store and the staff was still very rude and abrupt.
I would give them -5 stars if possible!

Ordered Veg schzwan noodles and gobi manchurian with gravy and was disappointed with the quantity served. Gobi manchurian had hardly five pieces.definitely not worth the money spent.

Today I did dinner in does but chicken noodles are really good, Gobi Manchurian is very delicious and mild even for children.

We went to Geelong dosa hut today. They told us that it would take more than 20 minutes. So we waited for about 50 minutes and still they weren’t able to give us our order. But other people came during this time and went with their food whereas they kept us waiting. When we asked they said that they told us it would take more than 20 minutes. What kind of people cannot differentiate between 20 minutes and 1 hour. If they would told us it would take one hour we would have gone to some other place. If they were unable to provide within reasonable time then they could have said so but they kept us there and it was an eye opener when they gave us the food. It was not our order and it tasted worse. I have had the same item from Melbourne, point cook shop. But never had such problem with this kind of inefficient people who don’t know time management. The food quality was terrible.

We placed an order at 11 am and the staff asked us to come by 1: 30. When we went to pick up the order they said the food wasn't ready yet. Contacted. The store several times and they just cut the call. The staff was very rude and the service was poor. We had to wait for two hours afterwards.

Had the Chicken 65 Biryani and shared a 70mm Masala Dosa with my friend. This place is indeed very generous in terms of their portions and good fresh food. Chicken 65 Biryani is a must try.

Very good experience with Dosahut Geelong. Extensive menu and their scan and order at the table is pretty impressive and quick. Best indian restaurant in Geelong that cooks fresh food, other places in Geelong just microwave frozen food and serve. Thank you for your amazing food and service. Excellent variety of food. First time trying Dosa, idly and vada - all nice. Goat curry was so tender. They are happy to customise the hotness/spiciness if you ask. I'll be back to try the other curry!

Worst Goat Biriyani ever in Geelong!
Ordered 3 Dum dum Goat Biriyani and 2 Samasa. First of all very salty, waste of money. I asked for mild but the biriyanis' I received was extra hot. Unexpected from Dosa Hut. Next time I will try to avoid going to Dosa hut for Takeaway/Dine in.

The food is great. But the service is atrocious. We ordered via the app as they do not do table service and then two meals were not delivered to our table. Only to be accused of not ordering two main items when we clearly ordered and paid for it. Will not be returning to this restaurant. Did not get an apology and restaurant did not show remorse.

I was told about this place by a friend of a relative who knows their Indian food. I must admit that this is the best Indian food I’ve ever had. I highly recommended Chicken briyani 65 and chole butare. I’ve only been there once so I can’t comment on their other dishes, but I’ll definitely make the trip there again very soon.

Food is great, but they serve giant portions. Regular Masala Dosa and Rava Dosa were very huge. Wonder how huge would be the 70 mm. I would be a regular customer if the portions were reduced and accordingly charged a little less. $14 for Dosa is a rip off as no one would finish an entire Dosa. Serve half a portion, charge us probably $7-9. If there is a kids option, that would be great.

I've ordered for a Chicken Dum Biryani Spicy, there was just rice and green chilies. I could hardly eat 2 spoons of it.when it was mentioned Spicy, it simply means more masala and not green chilies. I've Clearly mentioned it while placing the order.
A very bad experience, I don't feel like ordering Biryani anymore from this restaurant.
