Dosa Hut - Indian Multi Cuisine Restaurant Geelong

We had bad experience twice last week I ordered Few items they all came with too much chilly we didn’t eat anything we threw all food in the bin. Today I ordered dry chilly chicken and dry gobi manchria both came with full of oil gravy. Gobi manchuria came with raw uncooked gobi with any coating just full of oil gravy. Again they spoiled our night and money. I tried to call them but they didn’t pick up any my call. No apology no regrets.very bad experience.

It was very bad experience with these guys. Rudely staff and management. I have placed order one hour before to reach at Dosa hut and when I went there they asked me to pay; once I paid for my order they asked me to wait for 10 min but I have waited for 30 min to get only one order malai kofta).

They haven’t even apologised for late service. It happens many times but this time I am very unsatisfied with Dosa hut customer service and management team.

I don’t even want to give them one star; they don’t even deserve to be that.

Worst food ever, I had chicken 65 Briyani, it used to be my favourite, the rice is soggy, the chicken is stale and not cooked. I am sick from last 3 days after having that food

I have travelled all around the world and experienced real Indian food. There is very few places in Aus that actually have the correct taste that you find in India. Dosa Hut provides real flavour and the staff are always friendly. Geelong in particular seems to really dull down the flavour of the original dishes. At Dosa Hut you get the real deal. Goat curry and Dal Makhani are my favourites but the Indian-Chinese menu is also very accurate.

It used to be a nice place before, i think its under new management now, the place smells very bad, you get the bad vibes once you walk in, the hygene standard in the kitchen is below 0, the chef was using her bare hands to serve the rice.

Food was very tasty. Sambar was nice and spicy. The staff is very friendly at this place and they have a wonderful service.

We were in holiday and we went to taste for Indian cuisine and we were really happy about the service and foods.

Pretty bad service. We called up an hour ago and made a booking only to be told when we got there that they weren't serving food. Never encountered that before. There was another bunch of customers who were told the same.

We had to sit for a long time before they even offered water and menu on a slow day with no crowd. After that, I had ordered a masala dosa, which i had to remind them twice, and it came after 40 mins. The taste was also not that good, too much tumeric in the masala. They did not apologize for the delay. And when asked for small containers to take remaining food home they said they can only give one (i had 3 indian sauces on my plate). Overall npt good food quality, poor customer service and costly food.

Loved the friendly service and the family feel even when they were busy! Thanks for the lovely service dosa hut!

Ordered chicken 65 biriyani today as a take away and got paneer 65 biriyani. I dont even see paneer 65 biriyani in their menu. Was not informed about the change either.

Took 45 minutes for them to cook our dosa. They lost our order. Though they gave us a beer to make up for it.

Worst mutton biryani, apparently these days Dosa hut is just running its name based on brand not even giving an effort to make a dish.
Ordered a dum mutton biryani instead got biryani rice with mutton curry.at least don’t add gravy

Really enjoyed the egg fried rice and cauliflower Manchurian. Perfect flavour.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We were the lucky last to enjoy the meetha pan.

This is the third time we have visited Dosa Hut Geelong. The staff are friendly and very helpful assisting us with our choice of food. Once we decided what to eat the food came fairly quickly considering we ordered food for a table of eight. The bar service was very limited due to staff shortages but heck we came for the food. We have enjoyed each visit and will definitely return. Thanks for making our evening enjoyable.

Collection of large variety of Indian cousins. Tasty however unnecessarily higher amount of spices used which may upset your tommy.

I and my friends visited your restaurant on date 30/10/2021 at *DOSA* *HUT* address 126 Little Ryrie St Geelong. We had ordered veg food Gobi Manchurian time was 5.30pm. Miss *Kiran* who took our order and she served the food. I being a Vegetarian for 37 years (born vegetarian) have never eaten non-veg food even egg as well. I was eating the food thinking it was vegetarian food but I realised after the food is non-veg when there was one small bone of chicken in food. Your team made me non-vegetarian. At that time suddenly I had a vomit and non-veg food out of my body after some time I was suffering from abdominal pain and cramps. I had talk with them they just said sorry. There is not just sorry they have corrupted my religion. My family are pure vegetarian. You won't think in your dream how I'm feeling after eat chicken. I came to your restaurant on a trust you would be served only pure vegetarian on order but I was completely wrong. I'm requesting to all vegetarian people please do not visit this restaurant if you are pure vegetarian. They won't care about it. 0 star on customer service. Do not visit.

I want a formal apology from you and your team also make S. O. P otherwise I need to take legal action.

Food nice and spicy. Customer service a bit poor. Mixture of custom and language mainly the cause

I tried this place for the third time and still not impressed. This time the food was worst. Today is my sister birthday so, we thought to eat some good indian food. I ordered chilli gobi, tandoori chicken, schezwan rice and keema naan. The tandoori chicken was stale and burnt, some of the pieces were raw and uncooked while others were totally burnt.the keema naan was whole burned and too salty to eat. As i have ordered chilli gobi to my vegeterean wife, but there is pieces of chicken. After the worst experience of food, i called the resturant 15 times to inform about the food, but they simply didnot answer the call.please, hire a good chef to cook tandoori chicken and keema naan.i will never order from this resturant again.
