I paid $600 and bough a solid timber exterior door. Only after 4 moths, bottom and top of the door cracked. I asked the for two years warrantee. The manager's attitude is bad and do not give warranty. Door is Bad quality with no promised warrantee. I am very upset.

Possibly the rudest people I have dealt with!
This is how my experience went - In January, I went into the showroom and picked my doors. I had been wanting these doors for two years and I was so excited to be getting them as a part of my overall renovation. I took a photo of the doors and booked and recieved my quote (Approx. $5500 so a fair bit of money to me). I rang the week later and placed the order over the phone according to my quote that i had recieved, the sales person came and did a measure and quote and then i paid the deposit - all good so I thought. 6 weeks later and after many calls to try to get an ETA (Urvish was so rude every time i called asking for an update, I couldnt believe he was talking to clients like this) i had a date for my install. The installer came (very nice) in the morning, i asked if i needed to stay, he said "no i'll call if i need anything" and away I went to work - excited to see my long awaited doors.several hours later, I came home to find the wrong doors had been installed. I immediatley rang to tell them they had made a mistake and i had the wrong doors. Urvish basically told me i was lying and woyuld follow up with my sales person in two days when he was back from his RDO's. After the two days, I called and spoke to my sales person, who says to me "this is what you ordered Amelia, i'm 99% sure. " They were trying to make me out to be absent minded and like i had done the wrong thing. Ademant that i hadnt, i went back and found my quote and saw that it has a different description to the invoice. I was releaved to know I now had proof that I had infact ordered different doors to the ones installed.so I called back and told them I had the quote etc. He said, "okay, i'll get back to you" an hour later, when I call back (they never make a phone call) my sales person says, "oh you changed your mind and told me verbally at your house" At this point I am becoming furious as they are now just making things up so they dont have to lose money due to their mistake. Then, once I disproved this "theory" of theirs, they then say "my boss heard a phone call between you and I and you said you wanted different doors" (this is now the third story they have made up to try to cover their mistake). All the time, I was going to head office with all of this information and requested a call back from head office so someone reasonable could hear my side of the story - but alas, no call from head offcie. Head office would call the springvale store, get their version of the story, make sure they were all on the same page and then continue to tell me that I had made the mistake, I was beyond mad and could not beleive a company would make someone feel so bad about something they had caused. I would say that Urvish was boarder line abusive and I was actually getting physical symptons of stress and anxiety due to the stress of this. Eventually after a call to VCAT to find out my rights, i had an email back from head office (no call as i had requested 4 times) to say they would replace my doors, even though they cant prove they made the mistake. They still couldnt even say sorry for the stress they had caused. So as it stands, I am getting my correct doors installed in 3-4 weeks. I have requested not to speak with the Springvale store as I cant speak to that man again (so many reviews about his poor behaviour to clients but it seems doorsplus dont take these reviews seriously otherwise he would have lost his job by now) so hopefully the re-install goes smoothly this time.this went from a standard order/install to one of the most stressful weeks i've had in a long time. The blatant tactics to try to make me question my order and the corroberation between all doorsplus staff to "gang up " on me was hidieous and I just need others to be aware of the extreme rudeness of the team at Springvale (minus David who was the only one that took me seriously and helped me as best he could)
The installer was very nice and his workmanship looks good. Hopefully it will be the same for my correct doors.

Good bunch of guys, but make sure you pin them down as to the time frame that the door will actually be ready! Mine took over double the quoted time of 3 - 4 weeks to be ready to be installed.

Needed my back door replaced ASAP. Rang and spoke to Urvish and was able to purchase a door, hardware, order the installation and pay over the phone. Comparable price with Bunnings, but much easier process overall, so highly recommend if you don't want the stuff around. Thanks heaps!

Overpriced for what was installed in reality unfortunately. The tradesman left a disgraceful mess to which I contacted Doors Plus via email to which they couldn't even be bothered replying to. Oh well.

Total disappointment with the way door installed. Doesn't close fully, gap on one side. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Will never recommend to anyone.

Purchased a door from Doors Plus Springvale store and had it installed. This is the second door we had purchased from Doors Plus. Great job both times. The sales person was Deelipa. The service was excellent and perfectly installed on time. Great

The worst retail place I have visited in a very long time. Dirty, cold over priced doors. Customer service stinks. Do not shop at this doors plus. Very disappointed

Excellent service from the Doors Plus Springvale team. I had an urgent need and Igor went out of his way to enable the door measurements in time, to get it ready and have it fixed by the carpenter, so my painter could complete the paint job in time. Great service with the payment after the job was completed as well, as the team were very friendly and accommodated my phone payment, so my work was not disrupted. Will be recommending you guys to anyone who is thinking Doors!

Very easy process, phoned for quote for solid wood front door with 4 glass panels installed and with lock included. They came and measured the next day and was installed 2.5 weeks later. Installer very professional and did a great job. It was more economical than buying a door myself and getting it fitted and with a lock. Price was as quoted No extras.

Doors plus at springvale what a joke! Urvish the sales guys is a very rude person and didn't seem interested in helping us out, we asked if he could do the free measure and quote, his response was he wanted a deposit, I said that he needs to sight the job to be done at our house first, he came out only to tell us we will have to replace our side door window as well, nothing wrong with it, its like new, he didn't want to replaced the door jam and fit a new door, he wanted to replaced the whole lot, at $2500, we finished up buying everything from Bunnings, doors, door jam, locks, etc and got everything installed all up cost $1300 and that included primer and 2 other doors (one interior door and tw0 solid timber exterior doors) all I can say is shop around they are only out to up sell and have no customer service try a local chippy he will go the extra mile to help you out not like these clowns!

Terrible experience! I wanted to replace the door on my small rented flat as the Body Corporate said it might contain asbestos. I ordered and paid for the door, the deal involved the door, installation and reusing the old locks. Doors Plus contractor came and said he was afraid to remove old locks due to asbestos contamination. I said buy a new lock. He charged me $70 installation but the door handle ended up only 1cm from the frame so that the door could not be opened! Doors Plus have taken no responsibility and blamed me! I will probably need to go to Consumer Affairs to have this resolved.
