Don Don

Place is always popular and for good reason. The price to quality is too good to pass down.

My only critique is that they put a little too much meat in their don don box and not enough vege. But they do great quality food.

Bad pho, with lots of msg saturated stock. The other dish we had was also bad: deeped in sticky sauce.

Dimly lit Japanese restaurant that specialises in very fast service and good value for money. Have frequented this restaurant on many occasions and each time the food is delicious. The menu is mainly rice dishes with Japanese curry or terikayki meat. There is a raw salmon sashimi dish that is also delicious.

Good food, huge servings, fast service and cheap prices (under $10). Also 3 dollar beers or 2.5 dollar wines.

Literally just across the Airbnb place where I stayed. Place is simple and clean. Ample seating. With tables and chairs to be had outside if you want it al fresco. The servings were quite big. I had one of those beef curry dons. Forgot the exact name. I believe the price was just about right. Most importantly it tasted well.

Good Price, definitely gives you that sluggish 'Don Don' feeling after a meal though.
Their fried chicken is bomb as well

Always good food, extremely quick service and very cheap. Often queues at lunch though but maximum wait has been about 5 minutes. Outside or inside seating available. Can ask for double meat on every item too. Can suggest either the Don Don box, the teriyaki chicken or the beef. They accept credit cards now too as previously was cash only

Cheap and decent Japanese food with quick service. I usually go for the chicken curry don, which is very tasty and filling.

Amazing! Most favorite restaurant ever. Cheap, fast, quality, tasty, satisfying, healthy! Good menu and not too many confusing choices.

Food was good. Service was good. Price was especially good. Toilet needed cleaning (-1). The bird situation got abit out of control (-1). I had sparrows trying to steal my food while I was eating— even after I tried to shoo them away. Maybe an owl figure would help with the situation. Please consider it seriously for hygiene reason. Thanks.

Best food in this area by far. Great selection, fast service, huge portions, great price. It's always busy at lunchtime and rightly so.

Can’t believe this place has such a high rating. The food is very average. It’s cheap and you get a big serve so I guess it popular for some.

A favourite of ours. Service is speedy, friendly staff and great value. Curries are particularly good.

Man I'm an advocate for don dons. Sure the venue isn't the greatest but don dons is quicker and just as cheap or cheaper than fast food and it's a experience to go. The service is swift and your meals practically pop out of nowhere. - portions are generous and it's delicious. If you are after a quick lunch and you don't really want Macca's or spend $30 for calamari at a cafe. Go to don dons

Affordable, tasty and fast serving food. Don Don has always been consistent in terms of taste and portion size.they also very efficient and fast in getting the food out the kitchen, perfect for quick lunch break.i think the staff there is much faster than McDonalds when serving the food.highly recommended if you are backpackers, students, office workers who are currently in a bit of tight budget.

Great and very cheap Japanese food. I had the DonDon box and loved the chicken part of it. Takeaway is prepared in less then 5 minutes.

Love the don don box! Very tasty food and quick service but you may have to wait to place your order but it's worth the line up!
