Amazing experience, we opted for the private tasting and tour. Really enjoyed seeing behind the scenes and the wines were delicious. Make sure you sample the Andre, absolutely delicious. We took a few home, and you will too.

Lovely winery in a beautiful setting with gorgeous surroundings. The wines are delicious, with great service and lots of info. Would recommend this place to anyone passing through the area and will be back at the first opportunity!

Our first stop on a girls day around the valley and by far our highlight of the day! Jason was wonderful running our tasting, even putting up with all our difficult questions about the wine making process Thanks for a great time, we’ll definitely be back and looking forward to enjoying our purchases once we can look at wine again (might take a few days/weeks). Last week we enjoyed lunch outside here on the tail-end of our honeymoon. This was our first visit to the winery and everything was perfect. Enjoyed a beautiful three courses and great service from our waiter. Meal highlights were the carrot tarte tartin, the semifreddo and the oysters. The wine we tried - rosé and Cabernet franc - were beautiful. We loved the experience so much we returned the next day for a tasting and to take some bottles home.

Beautiful French style winery with fabulous views, wine and great bistro with French menu. We went with a group of 12 and the team where great when booking, very responsive and lovely to deal with. Service was great, and team very accommodating and let us move outside to the sunshine for dessert. 3 course set menu was delicious. The only criticism was the vegetarian options were a let down for the veggies in the group. But we will be back again. We had a great day.

The wine tasting person assaulted one of my staff members by hitting her on the back of the head. And then touched another female staff member on the head. Absolutely inappropriate. Why would a staff member hit a female on the back of the head? After we told him off his response was sorry that’s how I would treat my children. Spoke to management and it was not adequately handled. All we were told is that the situation would be handled after service. This abhorrent situation needed to be dealt with immediately. Not “after service”. My staff member had been assaulted. Take action immediately.

Atrocious service and inattentive staff. We came in for a wine tasting and didn't make it past the rose after 45 minutes standing at the bar. After trying and failing to get the sommelier's attention multiple times (he served everyone around the bar except us for some inexplicable reason), we ended up walking out. We had a table booked for their three-course lunch the next day which we cancelled as a result. The two wines we got to taste were average.

Amazing ambience and delicious wine. First and only stop required in the Yarra Valley. Highly recommended!

Beautiful venue and friendly staff. Great wines, especially the chardonnay, pinot and rosè but a $15pp non redeemable tasting fee is a bit much.

Absolutely loved this place and look forward to going back when it reopens! I’m a local and think of this place as a must visit in the Yarra Valley

Having to pay the tasting fee of $10pp even though you spend $140 on wine put a 'bad taste in my mouth', pardon the pun, otherwise very nice wine tasting, won't be back.

Lunch was fantastic. Great food, friendly efficient service and great wine. It is our go Yarra Valley lunch spot. They always have a varied menu with a french influence and we have never been disappointed for choice or quality. The lemon curd and raspberry baked Alaska dessert was unbelievably good.

What a beautiful winery! Very accomodating and friendly staff, excellent "Masterchef" quality dishes and delicious wines. Casual yet sophisticated atmosphere. A beautiful experience.

We would like to express our utmost gratitude to Fran and the entire team at Dominique Portet for such a wonderful day on Sunday. The food was plentiful and delicious, the wine was superb, and even more impressively the service was outstanding. I rarely saw an empty glass and there seemed to be smiles all round.
