I was a little disappointed at the lack of attention from your wait staff. I asked for a few minutes to consider the menu and I was totally forgotten for what seemed an eternity. An engaged cellar door manager would have picked up on this and checked in on me and even would have stopped to explain the menu etc…. The rest of the service continued with lulls between courses and failures to clear dishes whilst 4-5 staff members milled around the main bar. I even had trouble getting someone’s attention when it came to pay my account. Your tasting operator John was excellent and explained the wine I tasted in full detail and in a very professional and personable manner. Give John 5 Stars

Very enjoyable dining experience, great staff. The main dishes (plat principal) are of very high quality, very nice presentation, and they are made with passion and skills. The main dishes are much better value than the entree, cheese or charcuterie board. I would recommend ordering extra main dish to share rather than having the entree

Lovely location to meet up with friends and family. The food is really good. We had the share plate. Some dishes can be substituted for the GF and Vegans in the group. The wines are quite nice. I’m not a big wine drinker but I really enjoyed the Pinot Noir. Nice place to go during a cold winters day.

We always make a point of stopping here when in the area. Very knowledgeable staff and great wine, great view, great everything.

This is one of 3 cellar doors I visited today and it was a terrible experience. The person conducting the tastings was not interested and was even bordering on rude. I left before the tasting began because of the attitude.

French ambience in the Yarra Valley - from the moment you drive in and spot the grand arch windows and manicured surrounds.
Lovely light lunch offering - charcuterie, cheeses, arancini, oysters and spectacular DP sparkling brut rose. The perfect antidote to the weekday grind. Sat outside and enjoyed autumn in the vineyard in its finery. Tasted some of the new wines and learnt about the DP family traditions. How good for this oasis to be within an hour of Melbourne. C’est Magnifique

I took friends for a nice little lunch and the whole experience was terrific. The food, the building, the wine, the service were all a 10/10. Special mention to Ruby for being brilliant. Probably my favourite place I’ve been in the Yarra Valley. Looking forward to going back.

This winery was very beautiful and scenic. The atmosphere of the place was peaceful and relaxed. The food tasted amazing, we all loved each item on the menu. In particular our waiter Nick was very polite and provided excellent service. He knew the food menu and wines very well and provided excellent recommendations.

Magnifique, this winery is a real stand-out from the rest of the riff raffs along that stretch. The wines are absolutely beautiful and the food is superb. The service is authentic and genuine with a smile at all times. Merci Alex for your service and all the very best in Australia

Dominique Portet is right if the Maroondah hwy and still has the gorgeous French charm all in a tiny cellar door.

Weather your stopping in for a taste or some lunch or a light snack they have you covered.

Their Chardonnay and Reds are as good as they come in the Yarra valley as your would expect from their Bordeaux heritage which now stretches into their ninth generation of winemaking in the family.

Simply put their Chardonnay 2017 is one of the best pickups in the entire Valley.

What a beautiful place for food and drink! I would recommend the pork rillette, it was so light yet had beautiful flavours! In particular a special mention to Erin who served us and was more than helpful and kind.

Best day ever! Had Mum's 80th birthday there today, and everything was excellent! Service was so accommodating of the 4 vegans/ vegos in our group of twelve and all the food was amazing! And so much food! No one could finish the lot, and there were a few hungry blokes in the group.
The birthday cake my sister brought had an accident getting out of the car and went splat, so the the staff put the candles in a tiny cake and some mousse, and came and sang with us!
Didn't feel rushed ever and everyone was happy.
Highly recommend, beautiful venue, food and staff.

Oh yeah, the Brut Rose has been my favourite sparkling for 15 years, it was great to drink it on premise today.

This is a must visit winery. Their selection of wines are literally AHMAZINGGH!
Came on a Thursday with a girlfriend. It was honestly beautiful. Its a small winery and not mass production. They put so much attention to the taste and quality of their wine. They cane from multigenerational wine makers. I loved their pinot, shiraz, cabsav, abd must try their vintage ANDRE! 10/10. Must say, craig gave us the BEST experience very informative and fun host! Thank you. Will come back definitely!

It’s always a joy to stop in to this winery for a tasting and to stock up on some quality wine.

The rosé is always a highlight for us, French Style, dry and the colour always reminds me of a sunset with all the fruit grown in the Yarra Valley.

The restaurant looks amazing, but I haven’t eaten there… yet!

Update: visited again today with one of my sons. Again - perfect.

Paid for a tasting, had to ask about specifics. Had to squint to see the sample, it was that small that I lost half of it coating the glass. Then bought a few bottles and found out the tasting price doesn't come off the total. Next time I'll skip them and go to a place who stock their varieties and buy a glass.

Wow! Had the best hot chocolate ever a great place to visit. Kids will love all
the chocolate. Cafe look great over looking the country side.

Great wines and they have an amazing french lunch menu! Didn't try the lunch but will do next time.
