77Absolutely amazing lunch on their gathering 3 course bite menu! Not only was the food of the highest standard and delicious but the service was impeccable! Would definitely come back again and again!
Lovely place to visit on sunny day.
The main lamb dish on the set lunch so so.not looking forward coming back for this particular dish.
Very attentive staff.
A chilly & peaceful place for us to enjoy cheese and great wines. Parking abailable on-site. Staff are friendly and cheeky. It was a great visit! We tried a lot of wines and bought some of my fav Vintage Brut & Cuvee Riche too!
My wife and my favourite place
We have never been disappointed with the winery even through the latest restrictions.
We try to visit every 3 months or so.
Tastings are more expensive than others in the same region by double or triple but the portions are bigger.
Very touristy.
Had some young adults that were drunk and very rowdy in the area which ruined the mood. The waiters shunned upon it but did not stOp them.
Overall nice estate to visit.
Snacks were nice in the lounge area.
Beautiful sceneries, good service, perfect wine but please improve on the food menu.
The food was bad, we ordered the set menu and all of the dishes beside the fish was really average. The set cost around 85 pp, not including desserts.
Awesome service from Sandy and the team at the Chandon shop. Sandy's knowledge, passion for wine and friendly personality provided a great experience. We are looking forward to coming back. 9/01/2021
Domaine Chandon is a great Winery in the Yarra Valley. We only stopped in to go to the cellar door but will be back for lunch one day.
Chandon is a beautiful estate with beautiful grounds to picnic on and enjoy great wines and picnic hampers, a stunning lounge with smaller eats that are divine and the big restaurant to enjoy some great views. Shope is a little small but the cellar door is great! Worth a visit to see a world class estate and enjoy some beautiful food
All staff very good except older lady on front desk, no greeting and asked if we rang in advance because we were 4 minutes late for booking. Didnt help when she spent 3 minutes on phone before before acknowledging us.
Food and sparkling excellent.
Five of us came to Chandon Winery in Coldstream on a Wednesday to enjoy the wine and picturesque scenery. We visited on a warm summer’s day, which I must admit is absolutely perfect if you want to take several photos like us! I would also highly recommend utilising the outdoor seating area and taking the opportunity to soak up the sun on a lovely day. Among the five of us, we enjoyed the premium wine tastings, which allowed us to try a range of white and reds. We also ordered a side of the fried chicken, which was delectable. The staff were fantastic and provided excellent service, being prompt to attend to us, even when we had a little accident involving a glass and water! Thank you very much Chandon Winery; thank you to all staff including the waiters and chefs. We had a great time at the winery and have only good things to report!
A beautiful place with beautiful food. The staff are lovely and I want to give a shoutout to Martin who served us. An absolutely lovely man who gave perfect service and excellent banter
We had the set menu option. Delicious. The view was spectacular, the service was unobtrusive yet attentive. The only fault would be the wine selection. Sometimes it's nice to have a still wine other than a wine with bubbles
A stunning place to have some wine and cheese. They do get quite busy during holidays but it’s an absolutely beautiful place. They showcase t their history too if you are interested. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a good cheese platter if you want to munch on something while tasting their wine
This is by far the most loveliest place to eat in the Yarra. The views are spectacular, the food always delicious, the service exceptional and of course the sparkling wines just perfect
Do note it is a commerical winery nonetheless the quality of their service and wines are one of the best in the Yarra Valley. I recommend their wine tasting anytime for anyone who wants to try wines without being obliged to buy a bottle.
Perfect place to enjoy a wine tasting with great sommeliers who will take you through their journey as wine experts and craft a beautiful story behind every drink.
They did a terrific job of mixing their business with pleasure. The self-tour, although short, gives a very good overview of what the domain is about and the wine they make. We did a tasting at the bar (12 AUD) to try 6 sparking wines. They gave us lots of information about the wines, the domain and the drinking culture in general. Then we enjoyed the view from the terrace with a cheese board and more wine. Really recommend this! Since we don't have a car, we ubered from Lilydale (+- 26 AUD). Worth it!
Great spot for an insta pic, but certainly geared for the tourist market. It was hugely crowded, and the bubbles was the same stuff you could find in a bottle shop. Not much in the way of atmosphere or character - I think it’s lost it’s charm.
A great place to come and have wine. Restaurant is both expensive (~$30 - $40 meals) and limited in terms of menu but the service is good and the view is superb.
Wine tasting looks enjoyable but many bottles can be bought from Dan Murphy's for cheaper. Parking is plentiful.
