Domaine Chandon

We had a wonderful tasting at Chandon. Jordan was awesome with his wisdom at the tasting and Sue looked after us from the moment we walked in. Great service and people. Highly recommend

Beautiful winery for photography! I took so many photos and videos before i attended the wine tasting section. Right now is not grapes season. You can feel the autumn vines and enjoy the harvest in Chandon. It’s a bit busy at the reception area, even we made a booking online. Because there are only one staffs handling all the restaurant and wine tasting section.

The wine tasting section is all about their famous sparking wine, you can try out 5 of them. The sommelier is professional, he will engage with all the customers in the section, as there are like 15+ people in the same section with you. It takes 20 mins for the wine tasting. Easy to find a parking spot, here is a prefect choice for a short visit.

We loved the whole experience. Food was awesome and well balanced 3 course menu + dessert. It was my partner's birthday I booked in and they surprised him with a candle on dessert and the dessert was free. The waitress was very helpful, patient and caring. She was always checking up on us to ensure we have the best experience. It's just the drinks we didn't enjoy much because of all sparkling drinks because none of us are fan of sparkling drinks.

For some reason I wanted to not like Domaine Chandon (maybe more than the little guys) but you guys really sorted us out. Thanks for squeezing us in on a busy day and proving amazing wines and good service!

A great respite from city life. Very relaxing and peaceful. The winery is well maintained with excellent landscaping. Service is fast and efficient. Food is tasty and flavourful. The wine selection is divine. Do not forget to order the cheese and the wine samplers.

Beautiful grounds, terrible customer experiences.
Went with our family for a day trip and there was a stark difference in treatment towards customers of different ethnicities.
Staff at the store was happy to provide samples of wine for a Caucasian male (without the customer asking) but decided to give us an attitude when we’d like to try a sip of the 6 bottles our family were purchasing…

It won’t be a place we’d want to visit in future - at least until staffs are adequately train on how to treat every individual with respect.

The four of us had a very nice meal with wonderful views. The service was friendly and attentive. We had starters, three courses and wines for $130 per head which is fair. It's not a fine dining restaurant but perfect for a day out.

Chandon is a stunning winery, theres rolling hills, a nice lake and on a sunny day with a bottle of sparkling it's second to none.

Their restaurant does a 3 course set menu for lunch, snacks and nibbles for the table then a choice of a entree and main with the option of dessert.

The nibbles included bread, olives, nuts, popcorn and a whipped cheese. I had the raw beef and the drunken chicken for my courses but a large portion of the group got the fish. I tried a few of the dishes and would say the wontons were the best entree while I would say the fish on the day was the best on ground.

Love this place! One of our go-to wineries in Yarra Glen for its great food and wine. Best to have the wine tasting menu and especially liked the sweet selection with the Garden Spritz. Highly recommended!

Place is really nice as well with an overlooking view of the vineyard while the kids can run around the field. Great place to be with family and friends. Will definitely be back.

I don’t recommend anyone to come for a visit, until they reviewed their service standard.
Champagnes are good and food are ok, HOWEVER:
Poor customer service ever received, staff are having bad attitude, especially Vera who works in the souvenir store, not helpful at all and even throw a tantrum.
It seems like WE customers don’t understand the shop policy well, we customers are annoying and increasing the staff’s workload, we customers don’t need even a smile at all.
Extremely disappointed winery experience in Yarra Valley, though the experience in Yering Station is great.

Odd vibe by the staff and waited an unusual amount of time to be seated and served with a reservation. Food quality is ok but not sure it's worth the price. If you're going to go, go for the wine and views but don't expect much. 2 stars.

A “must” visit place for visiting Yarra Valley the scenery was amazing with European feel…

Always my to-go winery when I am in Melbourne, about 1.5 hours drive from city. Magnificent view against the winery, lake and mountain. We had a scrumptious lunch set with generous serving. Food were super fresh and delicious. I love the continuous invention of new Chandon flavour, and it can only be found at the winery. Not sold off the shelves at retails.

Price - okay, it’s on the high side but given the restaurant ambiance and quality of food. It is reasonable.
