Di Stasio Citta reviews
65At this price point ($79 for two courses), was expecting something amazing but it was just normal/not interesting. Better value to be had elsewhere.
When the owner came to meet us and congratulate us on your beautiful family i knew straight away this place would be special, worth every second food is amazing
INCREDIBLE.a Melbourne favourite with meta atmosphere.
We eat here every time we are in Melbourne.
Excellent service, simple but tasty food that was hard to fault. Well worth a visit for an occasion
A pretty expensive Italian restaurant, but the food is great and the rooms are elegant and comfortable. The staff offers high quality customer service.
Very nice food but certainly not worth the money. Not sure about the 2 hats given this year. I've been to a few 2 hat restaurants in the past year and this one was not to the standard of say Ides or Amaru. Too many good restaurants to return here.
My wife and I had a superb takeaway last night for her birthday. The food was fantastic, it was ready on time and it beautifully packaged. The 2016 DiStasio Chardonnay was lovely. Big thanks to everyone at Di Stasio for making my wife’s birthday dinner a memorable evening. Looking forward to coming in for dinner after the lockdown.

No cheap, but the ultimate Melbourne night out. Get dressed up, get a seat at the bar, order a Negroni and enjoy the theatre. Fantastic Italian food!
We had a fabulous time celebrating our sons 30th birthday last night at Citta. The food was sensational coupled with the service which made us feel so welcome. Thank you to the team who made the night so special
Will be back there soon
Always check your bill! They put a 20% tip on our bill. Left a bad feeling for us. Such a shame as the food and ambiance is very good.
Great food, service is good with plenty of staff. No forced time sittings. Well done guys keep it up!
Good location but still POOR RATE for a reason!
We booked this restaurant 2 months ago. Before we came, we decided to Read some of the reviews. And the some reviews really put us off. I was telling my husband to give it a go. Maybe it’s not that bad. We spend $200 and had the WORST and RUDES dining experience. One particular staff’s rudeness was something we’ve never experienced from anywhere else. We talked about it with the Manager after we paid the bill. And the manager turned out not to be any better. He said the staff wasn’t rude just towards us, he is being rude all the time to everyone. So it’s not personal! OMG! Is this can be a reason that we are treated so badly? Since this is the company culture, we will not come back again and we will want to think twice before booking this restaurant. If you want to ruin your date, this is the place to go!
A more open and light version of Di Stasio but still fabulous food, drink and staff. Seriously good Italian. I nearly passed out eating the braised lamb. Come here, you'll love it!
Absolutely appalled at the service and food quality of this place! Went for my husbands 30th and have never been treated so poorly and served such overpriced bad food. This restaurant is far from fine dining and would recommend you NOT to waste your time or money here.
Great venue, great service, quality food but doesn't get my special rating. Oh & they don't miss you, expensive!
WORST OVERPRICED RESTAURANT IN MELBOURNE!
We had the WORST experience and food here! This business has no idea about hospitality, food or customer service. I received no response to two emails and I can see others had the same horrible experience as us and were also ignored when they reached out via email.
Given pricing & location - had expectations that weren't met.pasta was undercooked which is disappointing as an Italian restaurant and what's charged and it was undercooked on 2 out of 3 pasta dishes ordered. Veal tonnato & red wine octopus entrees were lovely as was complimentary bread & butter. Tables were too close together which made it awkward for floor staff to get around. Service was lovely but felt let down by the pasta
Very disappointing. Service very disinterested (took 45 minutes to take our order, forgot to bring the salad with the mains, we had to fill our own wine glasses etc.), food very ordinary and very small portions given all the hype. Way over priced for what it is. We love italian food and culture, but this place is not a good reflection of any of that - we will not be back.
Mixture of good and decent food but pretty pricey. Biggest disappointment was the service - slow, uunattentive and verging on rude. $16 for a bottle of water when you sit down is pretty cheeky too!
Big Wraps on this place only to be disappointed. Seating is ridiculous, literally 10 centimetres between tables at front window. Struggle to even get past the couple that were eating at table beside us. Asked if we wanted Water and it never turned up during the whole 90 minute stay.
Asked if the Entree Scallops were able to be served as a main meal. That was no problem. Entree size $20 for 2 scallops was charged $66 for main of 6 scallops.
Main meal Pasta Maltagliati $44 for a Entree size serving.
Overall seriously overpriced restaurant.
