Horrible service, was waiting 15min and could not find any assistance. I was then told the person running my section is not available. The assistant that helped was unable to find anything remotely similar to what I needed.

I bought a watch online and it arrived in less than perfect condition, I went back to a store to ask about it and was told that it was in that condition because it was a sale watch. That I couldn't expect it to be in undamaged condition. The lady that served me was named Prue, she wasn't very helpful and continued to tell me that cause I had purchased it on sale I couldn't expect anything more.

No where on the website did it say that the watch was damaged or floor stock.

Bought 2 Kora products, and received shelf products that were literally covered in dust and half opened for display reasons. Additionally, we were served by Julie, who maintained a disrespectful and condescending attitude as I was a man— and treated me as though I had zero knowledge of the product, store and processes. She also implied that she wouldn’t help me if I didn’t know the precise product I wanted, and treated me like a pest the entire time. Absolutely horrendous service, I will not be returning to this David Jones!

Horrible service, went to Estee Lauder counter on Sunday, after waiting for 10min, I had to chase someone to come to the counter to help me, I was then informed the person running this counter is not working on Sundays! I can't believe a big department store like DJ can't service customers especially on the weekends that most people shop. After looking for key for another 10 min, the sales person was unable to locate the item that I wanted, will never go back, horrible!

Love DJ's for all my season selections. Sometimes staffing could be improved in terms o numbers but always such wonderful service. Keep it up girls! You know who you are.

Great experience in men's department today. Really helpful staff. Was buying an item for my nephew and the young chap was super helpful and patient.

If you don't look like money then forget receiving any customer service funny though as the person they chose to acknowledge spent $5 on tongs yet I spent $180 on canisters

Was greeted and assisted by staff. They are super helpful. I tried on so many different suits and they were more than helpful to assist. Good on you David Jones for having great staff.

Staff is very helpful and always willing to assist. If you are not able to find anything just ask the staff and they will redirect you. Keep up the good work Guys.

Staff are friendly and very attentive. The broad range of quality items is impressive. Priced to cater to most budgets it is easy to find an item of clothing to suit. They often have sales where you can pick up a bargain. Store is clean and well organized. Better that the CBD store IMO.

This store must be a joke. Looking around find someone to help and all I could see some guy with grey hair in a ponytail larking about with a girl. A very poor display indeed.and he had the worst fashion sense going by his lousy attempt to look 20 years younger so I doubt I would've got any decent advice from him. I went to Just Jeans instead.better prices and attentive staff.

There's no other store like this David Jones - you've practically got to let off a flare to get any attention and when you do finally find a staff member, you'll probably wish you hadn't - they just don't seem to know what's going on and they're so disorganised, you'd be lucky to get out of there before the centre closes. Other DJ stores have great service but this one's been hopeless for years. Maybe this store will get it together when the southern end of The Glen is completed.

I like to go to David Jones to get away from it all and be ignored for a while. When I feel everyone wants to bother me I can stand at a David Jones counter and pretend to try and buy something. The staff seem to know I need my privacy and do thier best to ignore me and give me space to contemplate where I should spend my money. Usually not at David Jones.

I went to buy a kitchen appliance in the store on a Sunday afternoon on 13th Jan 2019. Lady at the payment counter treated me and my wife as a unwanted customer. This area was not busy at all but she was pushing us to pay and clear. While serving us she apologised to other customer for delays, we felt thet we are not wecomed there. I would avoid this store in future.

Extremely rude manger at the cosmetic counter who called Dianne, she is a typically racist. She was shown her discrimination behaviour towards my girlfriend and her friend while they were shopping.
David Jones really should hire someone who is always polite and understand what is called the customer service.
She deserve a zero star, as long as she is working there, avoid the place.

I went to MAC Cosmetics David Jones today to buy some lipsticks for myself and was disappointed by the staff who worked there. I had to repeat myself a few times over the lipstick shade that I wanted. She got me the wrong one. After that I read out to her the lipstick shade as well as the range it is in 3 more times, and she told me, ‘ I don’t know what you’re talking about, this is my first day here’? ! Is this how you treat YOUR customer and provide customer service? ! The staff could’ve asked me to show her a photo of the lipstick if it is her first day, and considering today is Boxing’s Day I don’t think any management on their right mind would roster someone’s first day on such a busy day?
After this, I went to Myers to get the lipsticks I wanted since the lady at David Jones didn’t want to help.

Take ages to find someone who are available also know about the products on the ground floor.perhaps understaffed?
