Very helpful staff and a big selection. I was struggling to find the wine I wanted and nothing was too much trouble to go and check stock to get me enough of the wines I wanted. Will be back!

A really big selection of beer wines fortified wines spirits and everything you need to have a huge party or buy a last minute gift for a birthday present for someone who likes gin or other types of drinks. Not everybody likes gin you know but in case you do like gin they have tonic water.

Gormless staff. You get the feeling the staff don't get paid enough to care about customer service. Got very aggressively asked for ID from a team member as I was browsing; they insinuated that they were perfect, yet didn't have their name tag on, going against their uniform policy, go figure. Security always checks regular customers but never the people who actually steal; deterring everyone but the seasoned thieves who know this already, and how to get away with it. Useless.

Loved the place. So many options for liquor, spoilt for choice. Very decent offers too if you register as a member.

Previously a regular customer here and will never shop here again. Staff have no common sense and as other users have experienced they are racially biased against certain customers. We were denied service when I'm a 33 year old male who was shopping to buy drinks for my customers at my shop but denied as i had a staff member who had her ID with her helping me, as they believed the ID false. She happens to be not Australian by birth.

YOUR ID POLICY AND SECURITY ARE RIDICULOUS AND POINTLESS! I was denied of buying alcohol and I’m 22 years old with my international id card that no places has ever rejected it before

Dan Murphy is the famous liquor store situated in Melbourne CBD. It has a all types of liquors and a range of brands of liquors. It is the place to go for a better priced liquor shopping.

Great range of selection from beer, wine to liquor. They always have promo on their store. I always get my booze from the qv outlet.

Staff not knowledgeable and very unhelpful. Always out of stock of the best sellers and when you ask a question their favourite answer is that "we no longer stock that item" which isn't correct.

The sales staffs are very unfriendly, and when I show my overseas driver license to confirm my age, they refused it, the reason is that they can’t verify it, I use this ID to drive car, go any pub or club and no one ever said it’s unauthorized, the sales staffs are apparently been racist and finding troubles on Asians, I’ll never go to Dan Murphy in the future! And I will tell all my friends what Dan Murphy doing and ask them not going there!

A really great store with an excellent whisky section to boot. They price matched a whisky I found in another store which was super cool

Went to get some booze and was kidding with the staff that was on, asked him for some free stuff. He looked around and came back to give me a free beer jug. Cheers mate!

Security came over to me and my girlfriend when entering the store and asked for ID. He refused me entry as I didnt have a passport with me and he said they only allow people with passports or Australian government id. He wouldnt let me in with Irish drivers license. He almost wouldnt let my girlfriend in with her Australian passport just because I didnt have my passport with me. I have never experienced something like this in my life, I feel sorry for the security guy that he gets such satisfaction from not letting 26yr olds into a bottle shop.

Very unpleasant shopping experience being followed around the store by security starting from entry.

Very large selection, could find most of the options here. Could use more staff on the ground, took me a while to find someone to ask questions.
