The whole staff especially Cody was very polite and helpful. I has a very good shopping experience here.

I personally would like to thank Stanley and David for the best service looking for a drink I was after. They thoroughly searched the floor, checked everything on their computer, the service is impeccable. These two are an asset to this company and I’ve made the decision this is the sole Dan Murphy’s I will go to in future when I need to find something or a drink in general after work.

10/10 would advise other people come here in future. Helpful staff and very personable/polite.

A store that sells a variety of alcohol at very cheap prices. Foreigners must always bring their passport.

Actually has a great selection and decent service, just closes hilariously early for mysterious reasons.

Best selection of various brands of liquor, wines, Beer and spirits. The place is stacked with every possible brand and bottle you can think of, from Australian made spirits to international brands. The service staff is good and a special discount is available for members. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

The security and staff are nice, helped me look for a rum.

The staff in this store are racist, which makes me very confused about how their company trains its staff! My friend forgot her ID when I was buying wine today. The male member of staff who was in charge of the checkout rudely threw my driver's license back to me and took away the wine I had chosen. Rude enough to throw us out. I don't understand why, because we are Asian? It is strongly recommended that the company can improve training. Because the experience made me so uncomfortable that I even suspected that the company was racist. He wasn't so rude to other white customers.

I always find my favorite wine. Great customer service, the guys who work in the shop are easygoing and polite.

We entered the store at 19: 40, we do aware they will close at 20: 00. Only thing we asked was where is trolly. But security was angry and aggressive and didn't answer the question keep saying we are closing in 20min. Is he a security person or a high person on the street? Doing phone, leaning on the wall, mad at the customer because he wants to finish his shift sharp 2000? How can I feel safe and trusted if security greets people in front of the entrance? Thank you for ruin my day

I commend Stanley for his superlative service. Always. One of the best men I've encountered; takes the time to chat with customers, including those of us who aren't pretty and/or young. Appreciate his SoH too. Which is sharp and clever.

When i about to make a payment, the staff
asked to see my id, which is fully understandable and I asked him if it was okay to use the photo copy id, he said no, I said that ok but it was okay in other bottle shop before, I was smiling the whole time and very friendly tone of inquiry, but for some reason security came over, I seriously felt very offended, there were other people in line at the store, I also work in hospo, I would never call security when a customer is asking nicely if they can use a photo copy, treating the customer like a security risk? This is really ridiculous

Good variety of wine selection, could be better if there were more staff to assist. But overall service is good. I get what I want.

I would just like to congratulate the helpful staff at Dan Murphy's QV Melbourne for their excellent customer service. I had accidentally left an item of great sentimental value when making a purchase at the cashier the other evening. I telephoned the store the following day. I spoke to Les, who was very helpful, took details and told me they would be in touch if my item was located. To my great surprise and delight, I had a call from Lou later that day, to tell me the item had been found and was available for collection. Well done on your excellent customer service and follow-through.

Smaller than a suburban Dan Murphy's but still probably the biggest bottle shop in the cbd.

Everyone loves Dan's. Went in for some Christmas gifts and browsed way longer for something for myself: p

Bought a bottle of whisky and when we were leaving the alarm went off. I stopped and looked at the lady who served me and was told it's alright. Went home and found that alarm was still locked on the bottle's head inside the box. So, had to go to different Dan Murphy's back again to get rid of it. Checked online, turns out it happens a lot. Very annoying, that when the alarm sound went on, it didn't ring any alarm bell in her head and I was told to go.

This is purely about the cashier, who on new years eve morning was so happy, friendly and human during my 1 minute with him, that I had to write and say - you absolutely made my day!

Knowledgeable and friendly staff, the carry most of the alcohol you are looking for here. Cheaper than most places in the city.
