There's a common conception that mechanics are generally seen as untrustworthy, the blokes at Goodway Tyres & Automotive reinforce this stereotype.

From the onset, the guys were trying to push a major service on me without even looking at the vehicle, I should reversed back out then.

A few hours later I was called and told that the car would need over $2000 worth repairing, some increase from the $400 quoted. While I understand work on my engine needed to be undertaken, these charlatans added an array of items that I do not believe were necessary. I was shocked into believing my car could possibly burst into flames and told that the work needed to be done - it transpired that this was not the case at all.

"Power steering flush" "Transmission service" and many other items that are only deemed necessary after 60ks+ of driving were added to my bill. They also agreed a gentleman's agreement of 10% off - this of course was not honoured when I went to pick my car up. (that they held for an extra day after "accidentally ordering the wrong tyres"). I was also told that before and after pictures would be taken of all the works that needed completing, of course I wasn't shown any of these either.

Hindsight is always 20/20, had I have read the reviews I would have went elsewhere. Major red flag being sign in reception that offers customers $10 off their services if they leave a 5 star review.

This has been an expensive lesson for me, hoping by sharing my experience, nobody else falls victim.

Internet says they are open until 1pm. Called at 11: 30am to be told they’re closed. Need to update their details! We were in desperate need of a tyre replacement and thought this would be our answer. Obviously not.

Best worker and very fast at there job I'll like to thank Sam for helping me out keep up the great work boys

Caution Required: - it is businesses like this that give the motor industry a rogue image. My daughter got a nail in her tyre out the front of this business and they wanted to charge her $80 for a puncture repair, taking full advantage of her innocence. She called me snd I spoke to them- they agreed to help with a basic repair for $40. That’s half of the original quote and still much dearer than other tyre centers.

Went through tyroola who messed up my order, booked another day, got tyres and wheel alignment done by Jake top bloke

Sadly I dont like giving bad feedback however I had to wait 2hours to have 4 tyres removed/replaced/balanced. I thought it would have been a 20min job (consider the wheels has been taken off the car for them, valves and wheel weights removed. The guy was nice about taking long but Sorry guys, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Amazing mechanic, they have always been so helpful when we have had to bring our car in. We have an older Subaru Outback that started to act up and every time we brought it in they took the time to figure out what was wrong and get the problem fixed. They always made room to fit us in and kept us updated the whole time our car was in the shop. Services are priced reasonably. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

We purchased and paid for Tyres for our car and were made a booking for today by the store, upon arriving at the store the attendant refused us saying there was no booking made and also they cannot fit tyres as according to Premier only emergency break downs are permitted under lockdown, So a tyre fitting shop won’t repair flat tyres (as he thinks they’re not an emergency)
Don’t know if this is the owner as he said he runs the place alone without anyone else, but joke of a customer service! Remember these people after lockdown, they take your money and make excuses to do the work!

Went in for a routine wheel alignment, and the alignment and steering were worse afterwards. Brought my car to another garage, and the original problem was fixed by a wheel alignment.

Terrible. Too long of a story and it's sounds too unbelievable. Could honestly go to consumer affairs about what they put me through. But mainly would like for you pay the parking fine (which has now got a final notice from police) that I received when my car was being held waiting for parts in a "secure off-site garage" aka provest lane way.too which the car later got broken into and plates stolen for only the cops to call and inform me two weeks after it happened and we had talked multiple times before then and you just failed to mention.

The mechanics here were honest, attentive to my concerns, and a pleasure to deal with. Adam in particular really made me feel like the work on my car was being done right.

Terrible, don't ever go their. They don't do any repairs what you want but they charge you for that. Infact they will refer your car for a major service. Dont ever imagine for going their. Rubbish workshop

They sold me a pair of Viking tyres for 150$ each 1.5 years ago! When I asked about Viking brand which was unfamiliar to me at the time, I was assured that they had Continental quality! Let me tell you.these Viking tyres were the most rubbish tyres I have bought in my entire life

I went there to fix a punctured tyre and ended up buying two over priced very low quality tyres.

Best service in town! Came from other side of the city in emergency situation. Had both my tires repaired in under an hour all with friendly and experienced service. Seriously great stuff!

Disgusting customer service, rude staff that will do everything to push a sale. Unreliable. Also, they will discount you $10 to write a review, thats the only reason they maintain references above 2 stars

Excellent same day service. Abbas was great in explaining options and getting my car sorted with roadworthy check, new tyres and wheel alignment all in a matter of a few hours turn around. Customer for life.
