Always great at crown little expensive for quality of some food. But non the less great experience.

This is where I go for every anniversary. I've tried literally every buffet in Melbourne. This is the endgame go to buffet. Always great servicr, always handmade new items, really high quality food and the scenery and decor is spot on. You pay for what you get! Do not miss coming here!

VERY disappointed! Booked Sunday buffet lunch for 1st Aug. But we were only notified buffet was cancelled when we arrived and waited for 30min. No cancellation email/notification received prior. About 30 people in the queue at 12pm on 1st Aug experienced the same with us! Everyone is very very upset!

So good to be back after lock down. Hope the menu on Friday night is more seafoods with lobsters like you used to have. Our boys miss lobsters here. $135 pp and kids $67.50

The food is delicious and fresh. It is great if you eat seafood and meat otherwise not worth the price tag. I am vegetarian so couldn't eat much but the family loved it.

Visually pleasing, what a gorgeous place! Great vibe, lovely service with a generous selection of delicious foods and desserts to try!

Went for the lunch buffet and had an enjoyable experience. Service was welcoming - greeted with smiles and believe was served by the waiter Palakorn M. (according to receipt). He was attentive and had a great professional attitude. Thank you!

My absolute favourite buffet restaurant in Melbourne, maybe even the world. Food is always excellent standard, service is impeccable, and the dining experience overall is superb. Have been there for many special occasions and the staff are always so friendly and professional. Going tonight for my Fiance's 30th Birthday and can't wait!

We all enjoyed the buffet dishes offering the best of Eastern and Western cuisine. Seafood is a highlight; with a mountain of fresh prawns, daily fish dishes and freshly-shucked oysters.

For dessert there's a wide range of sweet treats, including Conservatory's famous chocolate fountain. With soaring ceilings and views over the river to the CBD, Conservatory is an elegant and relaxed place to dine at any time of day.

You are paying for the view and decor. But its still nice if you come every once in a while. Will i come back, No.

Also, I would like my money back

Its no secret that this restaurant is my absolute favourite. I have had breakfast, lunch, dinner and high tea at the Conservtory and I always experience there amazing service. A big shout out to Yogesh for always being so friendly and providing my family with 5 Star service every time. Yogesh is a huge asset to Crown. He always makes an effort to chat to us and check in with us making sure we are happy.

Prawns, oysters, clams, mussels, crab all not fresh or defrosted from frozen. Tasteless. Servers not on the mark to clear plates, take drink orders or refresh water glasses. Staff need better training. Seats not suitable for getting in and out of for a buffet experience as they are too heavy to move. Food quality poor. Dessert offering was good. You need to offer Seniors discount. Your $65 doesn't rate for the quality of the frozen food defrosted. Lift your game.

I was disappointed by my recent visiting. Decor is gorgeous but the food is terrible. I love my seafood, but the prawns were over cooked. They were disgusting and chalky. Not crisp and fresh at all. Others obviously felt the same, as they didn’t need to be topped up.

My friend tried most of the foods, and nothing that great. Pork belly was dry she said, so I didn’t bother with that.

Beautiful venue and location, but the food is really a let down. Would never bother again.

Went with my partner celebrating an event.
We arrived just before 1pm and lined up, eager as neither one of us had been to the Conservatory but had been told by countless people how beautiful everything was. Needless to say, we were looking forward to the stunning views & atmosphere displayed in the Crown website as well as gloated about by friends & family.

As we walked up to be seated, we weren’t even given the chance to step foot into the restaurant before we were given a table in the walkway. Not only were we placed in the walkway but seated right next to a ‘sanitising station’ & an obvious waiters’ station where customer’s plates & empty glasses were stashed.

We were extremely uncomfortable & felt like we couldn’t have a conversation as we were constantly surrounded by people/waitresses

I asked one of our waitresses if it were possible for us to move inside the restaurant to which she replied they were “booked out”. After this conversation we watched as a table of 4 were moved from the walkway to the inside of the restaurant. I’m sure you can imagine this left us feeling confused.

What I don’t understand is the lack of communication from such a large company. Had I have known that I would be seated in the walkway, I wouldn’t have booked. I would have waited until the next available session.

We left feeling disappointed & a little sad that our expectation had not lived up.
It is a shame that such a reputable restaurant left us feeling this way.

I did send an email to try and address the issues we had, nobody replied.

Food was delicious and the staff were really lovely. A great way to spend Saturday afternoon. Make sure to come hungry though! I especially liked the chicken sandwiches and the sweets!

Came for the lunch buffet and it's absolutely excellent value for the money, standard lunch comes with complementary wine or software as well as tea and coffee. Lunch menu offers a good selection of seafood, Asian food, western food, cold platters and desserts.

Highly recommend the lunch session and booking is essential, I came on a weekday and it was fully booked.

Great food and service with the spread of varieties from Asian to European dishes can't fault it at all. The cold seafood is amazing, definitely will be back there again. Nice chatting with chef Rohan brings back memories when I was in the game.

It was just a buffet. The food was lovely but there was nothing special about the service or atmosphere. Our table happened to be right next to the buffet. All night there was a long line next to us. It didn't feel worth the $741 was paid for 5 adults/1 child. We walked away feeling disappointed. Our seating was at 5.45pm, we were given the cheque at 7.30pm and felt pressured to leave even though our seating was through to 8pm.

Table staff were great however we've had better value for money elsewhere.
You'd expect a complimentary glass of wine at these prices and no attempt to celebrate our daughters birthday despite ticking the special occasion box on booking and reminding staff when we confirmed
