Beautiful and elegant atmosphere with great views of the Yarra River. Excellent service and the food was always topped up without having to wait. Special thanks to Cedric and Anya for providing top notch service.

This was our annual Christmas dinner at crown conservatory. It cost $155 a head and i have to say i was so disappointed. The roast beef was awful. The ham was just ok. The fish was so dry and tasteless. It was their CHRISTMAS dinner and no turkey. No Christmas decorations anywhere. No drinks were provided with the meal. We go there for luch a few times a year and the food is often a bit hit and miss. But I would expect a really good effort to be put into a Christmas dinner. No such luck. Well wr will onow better for next year. And those of you thinking of going there for Christmas lunch and paying an an exhorbitant amount. Think again!

Definitely one of my favourite places to dine. I take my 95yo Dad at least once a month and he really enjoys it, nothing wrong with his appetite … so much for him to choose from and all of the food is delicious. The staff are so lovely and provide great service.

An amazing experience with a view to match. Overseeing the Yarra on a beautiful day, and an interior finish that is unrivalled. We had the opportunity to indulge for a mid-week lunch which I would highly recommend (cheaper and not as busy).

The selection of foods is vast; seafood, Indian, Chinese, Mediterranean and many more. The quality of the food is all great, with such a range of options I don’t expect it to all be mind blowing but it met expectations.

Service was fantastic, constantly clearing plates and providing further drinks.

I would say that the the location and view is definitely worth a once off visit especially if it's for a special occasion or event. The food and variety is somewhat limited and for the price per person it's a bit disappointing. That being said the service was good and very friendly. There are cheaper and better buffet style places in the city but this was worth the try.

Had a lovely lunch here last week. Added the basic drinks package which was great value. The food was mixed. Entree offerings were great, the seafood was awesome, especially the cooked prawns. Meaty and very tasty. Some of the mains offered were a bit disappointing, not very flavoursome. The curry however was delicious.
The desserts on offer looked spectacular, but were amply sweet, without much distinct flavour. The best dessert was the ice cream and choc sauce, which I was a little let down considering how visually beautiful the individual desserts looked.
Would I go again? Definitely!

$165@ person for seafood buffet of a Sunday night 2 hour session. Great location, attentive friendly and professional staff. Ambience of place is excellent. Modern and clean. Now this is probably the best buffet in Melb. Second floor of Crowm complex. Tables set with quality cuttlery and crockery. Alcohol prices bit hexy but ended up seldcting the $30@head unlimited wine package. 2 glasses of wines and your ahead. Staff were attentive to drinks and cleaning away used plates from tables. The food was excellent and unlimited and if you go home hungry it is your own fault. Seafood, roasts, indian, greek, italian, too much food to mention hence why I took so many photos. Food was always restocked and hot. Lots of desserts. Kids loved the chocholate (white and brown) fountains. There was nothing deep fried as every dish was prepared by the cooks visible in the kitchen area. My only small issue was the crabs had been frozen and their flesh was flaky, but hey not a big issue when there was so much other foods to choise from. Regardless of price, give this place a go at least once.

So disappointing due to their service over the phone. Spoke to someone called Peta and her service was disgusting! I know for a fact she just wanted my card details to make a payment and end the phone call. Honestly, if you’re paying $135 per head, at least make the customer feel satisfied. I’m so upset at the service I received especially after paying a $900 deposit fee. Treat your customers with respect PETA You’re horrible!

Thursday 2nd December. Buffet Lunch. Seafood were fresh. Unfortunately for the hot food section, still no improvement since my last visit which was a while back. Still very slow on topping up and refreshing the serving containers. Wrapped Peking duck style pancake are just as bad as my last visit with mass production by one chef and not giving any thoughts to details. Failed miserable! The dessert sections have improved. Overall, I would rate Conservatory a 2 stars compared with its Sydney branch Epicurean a 5 stars. The lunch buffet food at Epicurean jn Sydney Crown were tasty and always topped up looking fresh. A huge gap in food quality and standard.

I want to thank all the staff who attended me tonight and my birthday 40 years a magical night I will be back soon for the New Year's dinner 2022 many for the attention I was very pleased.

I visited Conservstory at 8: 50am with no welcoming from the staff. 'If you can leave within 20mins we can give you a table or go to your hotel's restaurant' This is what female staff stated to me.how rude and unexceptional attitude the staff expressed to me

Cold seafood, salads, excellent Indian foods, beautiful spiced lamb (lean meat and tender), carvary section, beautiful pesto pasta and lean, tender chicken breast in mushroom sauce. Beautiful desserts, milk and dark chocolate fountains to dip strawberries, chocolate and vanilla ice creams and mango sorbet.

I had breakfast here this morning. The buffet was absolutely delicious. 10/10 for the pancakes and the chocolate fountain. The staff were a amazing, could not fault any of the staff that served / greeted me. Awesome atmosphere. Such a beautiful place, I will definitely be attending again.

This place is made amazing because of the service. Price compares close to Melba (weekdays) so if I were to compare I would say Melba is much better for food quality and variety.

In saying that as a buffet the food at the Conservatory was good. We went for dinner on a weekday and the selection was good. Seafood and dessert were really good.

Would still recommend going here for the experience.

Saturday night out with my sister, there was exquisite food from most cuisines, superbe service and a view to whet the appetite. Loved the chocolate fountain and all the amazing selection of seafood
