Food was really good. I got the loaded Brazilian tater tots. Sat outside and that was nice the smoke smell outside did give me a headache though. Service was alright but they forgot to give us water when we sat down.

I came in on a Sunday during their peak busy period and got coffee. The team was getting slammed but handled it beautifully. The coffee was incredible and Casey took really good care of us. Definitely will be back

My cousin had her wedding here last night. Amazing service and atmosphere. Accomodated to vegans and mocktails lol

Coffee is good but the service is absolutely trash. I’ve been a barista for a very long time and understand some days you can’t even pretend to be interested in customers but geez, I have never witnessed such blatant disregard for customers by almost everyone on the floor. Don’t come here unless you are into being completely ignored by grumpy people.

The coffees were bad. And hot chocolate was watered down, very disappointed. By the time we got here the food was gone. Do not recommend

Great coffee in a relaxed atmosphere. At Commonfolk you can choose to sit indoors or outdoors. Today we enjoyed the sunshine while eating smoked salmon with poached eggs, or the pork belly. It was even more enjoyable with a cold brew.

Went here today with my boyfriend we are both heavily in the coffee industry and visiting the area.hoping to get a snack and some bean. Waited 10 mins to be seated while staff polished cutlery. Specifically requested a flight of coffee as was buying beans for home when going to buy the beans they didn’t have any. Coffee was average service was average. This cafe is trying to be something it Isn’t. Also out of maybe 6 options on the menu at 2: 00

Amazing Service, great atmosphere and very generous portions. Our family of 10 enjoyed the brekkie and the best coffee ever. VERY FRIENDLY SERVICE FROM OYA, Anna and taj. GREAT PLACE FOR KIDS.

Groovy house tunes with a single origin long black at 9am, what more could you want? Felt like I was in Richmond. Also, don't think and just get the eggs benedict. The service was a little jarring though, as a couple of the staff felt like they didn't really know how to.talk to people? Just wasn't very warm or friendly from a customer service point of view unfortunately.

Staff are sooooo friendly and the coffee and food are terrific! The place has a great vibe, I always stop there when I'm in the area?

Nice venue and good atmosphere. However there was no customer service and some staff had no idea what they were doing. We ordered 3 brekky buns one with GF bread, staff brought one of them and we asked is that gf one he said yes. Then other staff brought the other Brekky buns. Obviously one of them was gf. Lucky we waited for the others to come. The bottom of the hotcake was burnt. Waited for 30mins our order to come and …: (very disappointed as such a nice spot and famous for coffee….

The worst coffee & the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Staff were annoyingly ’woke’ and rude, wouldn’t go out of their way for anything. I may as well have made it myself. Never again.

Takeaway coffee was delicious however it was a very long wait for a Friday morning. Would hesitate going back due to how long two take away coffees took to make.

The food is nice quality and freshly made. That's where my good experience ends. The staff are unattentive to their customers. Hot drinks were lukewarm, items were missing from set dishes, and we were left eating without napkins or cutlery. One waitress was just plain rude when we asked for her help. Quite disappointed since the food was expensive.

Today was our first visit to Commonfolk Coffee Company and it won't be our last. Have you noticed that the very best cafes have full tables and people waiting to be seated? We arrived midmorning and waited a little while the considerate waitress found a table that had some shade. We enjoyed the iced mocha while waiting for our meal and even though the temperature was in the 30's, we were comfortable in the shade with the fresh scent of lavender and spicy shrubs, while butterflies hovered over the garden. If you're looking for interesting fresh flavours, 'Plants have Feelings Too, ' is an amazing dish, with zesty, tangy flavours and satisfyingly perfect for two hungry sisters to share. We followed it with a ricotta pancake, presented with strawberries, chocolate and a hint of lavender and lemon.
We both loved the atmosphere and were welcomed and farewelled with smiles and well wishes for a lovely day.

Great venue, decent coffee. A little overpriced but the biggest negative is the car parking, especially on weekdays. Not ideal parking 200m up the road in an industrial area with a family or any accessibility needs.
Otherwise a nice place with a decent vibe.

Ordered one takeaway coffee but ended up cancelling my order and taking my empty keep cup back because it was taking a very long time. I've never done that before and am not one to complain either but it was ridiculous. I wish the girl would have told me on ordering that it was going to be a 20+ min wait for a latte before I waited outside with two babies (and still didn't get a coffee). Won't be going back. Over rated anyway.

Arrived at 8am on Saturday and got pick of the tables, started to get busy by 9. Great coffee and food. Friendly, helpful staff. Lots of parking in the street.

Love the concept of having artists, jewelers and craftsman alongside the cafe and was keen to check it out. I didn't have the best experience here and reviewed as such but was impressed but the owners response so I'll definitely give it another go.

Our whole experience was tainted this morning due to poor service. We ordered our food at the same time at our friends and while they got there food in an appropriate 20 minutes, ours took 50! I asked staff several times where our food was and was told “it was being plated up now”. We did not get our food until another 10 minutes after that. Had some sort of ownership been taken and compensation provided our Commonfolk could have redeemed themselves in our eyes, however there was no apology nor any attempt to fix the situation. Very disappointing
