Love their pub meals. Fast service, and with a smile. Probably needs to be updated as it has not changed in years but that might be the attraction. Tables need to be cleaned to stop the sticky feeling otherwise it would be 5 stars

The right place for people who likes pubs and typical food. The food is always very good, however the service might be a bit slow.

We had a fantastic Christmas day lunch at the Commercial Hotel. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Thank you to the lovely ladies and gentleman who took care of us today.

We had great experience at bistro, we were well looked after by Lauren, she was so welcoming, lovely and efficient. Meals were delicious. I had scotch fillet and veggies, very hot and fresh. Great feed, we will return:)

Good food and they have a nice little trivia night on Friday nights. It was over pretty quickly so you didn't have to wait around for ages. Downside, the staff need to focus on serving waiting customers instead of gas bagging about the footy with the drunk customers that have already been served.

I have been with friends are few times each time they have forgotten coffee orders too busy cleaning up before closing. But the food is excellent just the service.

Far from being the Ritz. The commercial is more of a rough diamond.
Good, friendly locals, great staff, cold beer and the restaurant serves decent food.

Staff were friendly and attentive in taking orders. Main meal came out quick enough.
Dessert was different. The pavlova arrived immediately, but after a few check ins the Ice Cream, donuts, coffee, and hit chocolate. Took over half an hour. Hot drinks were far too hot after we fully intended on leaving as soon as possible.
Nice staff, but the organisation was not great. Wouldn't go back.

To the 2 wonderful ladies who work there and got me through the most amazing ordeal i have experienced, i thank you from the bottom of my heart! The venue now is something magic to me. I cant wait to pop in again to say hello!

Ordering took forever. One person taking orders isnt enough. Steak night. $18 for 250g steak. On specials board Surf n Turf $32. I ordered that thinking it must be something 'special'. It was the $18 Steak with four prawns. Oh dear. Be careful and allow plenty of frustration time in the long queue to order.

Service was very slow from the time I ordered our meals until we received them was 1 hour, which seems a long time.

Dined at the Bistro. Definitely the worst Chicken Parmigiana I've ever been served. The chicken schnitzel was very small, very thin, soggy bottomed, with underwhelming toppings. Served with not many chips, and a tiny acrid salad. I only ate it to get some of my $24 worth. In hindsight, I should have requested a refund and gone somewhere else.

We recently celebrated my partners 30th here! It was a great night, staff we super friendly and accommodating, food was awesome and parmas were amazing! Can't wait to go back for another parma!

Went there for catch up with friends. Friendly staffs and good venue to hang around. I must say prices were reasonable for food and drinks. I will be back

Staff very friendly & helpful. More attention could be focused on the cleanliness of the toilets though.

Only popped in for a quick drink. Bit expensive. A lot of people enjoying themselves. And a band had just finished playing. Nice big open space bar, with a nice open area outside, but I assume that's the smoking area. Looks like lots of sports betting happens. The staff were pretty good.

Poor service, average food. Ordered two entrees from the specials board to be told afterwards they only had one and they would replace one with a garlic bread. My main meal came out before entrees were served, when I asked about the entrees my main was dumped in front of me then the entree came out half way through the meal. My wife then finished her entree and then had to wait forever, including me going up to the counter and asking about it, for her main which was not nice anyway and came out after everyone else had finished including the kids desserts. Won't come back.

Food was great. Wish there menu had something else GF. Can't even get a grilled chicken breast - all precumbed. Not even GF buns available on burger night.

Waited to long for the meal have been going there for years don't know what's happened all old staff gone and meals are not up to what they were.

Low key and casual, cozy. Warm inside when it's cold outside. Good for families but it isn't loud. Food and drinks are good, simple and reasonably priced. A True pub.
