Coles Port Melbourne reviews
61Great staff. Clean store. Parking on level one plus escalator and lift. Plenty of street parking. Surrounded by lots of shops, banks and post office.
Meh.it’s an okay coles. Pretty limited selection of stuff.
It’s almost worth just going the extra mile to Woolworths in Sth Melbourne.
Very unprofessional staff. They really don’t care about customers. Poor customer service skills. Really need to improve that.
Best Coles in Port Melbourne. It has the biggest stock range and variety. Deals are pretty alright. Staff are friendly enough. I recommend going on Tuesdays when deals are best:)
Ample of parking available. Big store with everything that you need and very convenient and a pleasant place to shop
One stop shop for all your needs. It's in a convenient shopping mall with nearby shops, bank ATM machines. Breakages Also available. Huge parking with disabled parking and ramps.
A nice place to go shopping. The Coles is very big so I would totally recommend going here. Its very clean and tidy here. Overall, I think you should shop here when you are looking for groceries!
Have a great day!
I try not to shop here when they stop putting the food in plastic that will be an improvement Shop at the markets everyone no cans, no food in plastic Support the little man in business instead of SL or the big rollers
Didn't have the product I was looking for. I was forced to go to a bigger supermarket in another suburb.
Good little Coles parkings a bit tricky in peak hour but other then that the store is layed out really well they have some stuff other Coles don't have more health foot type of stuff. Staff were really helpful store is clean and well kept.
I like shopping in coles. Usually do it after 9.30 pm when you can sometimes buy chicken and cakes for the half price
There a few things in life that you can't avoid, death, taxes and giong to the supermarket for your weekly shop. Usually when I used to think of the weekly shop I tried to avoid it, but now since I discovered Coles port melbourne i have looked forward to coming to coles port melbourne for my weekly shop. We have lived in Japan for a few years and the supermarket scene is very very good there, often when im walking through the aisles of coles port melbourne i feel nostalgic of my weekly shopping experience in tokyo. Why is this? Well firstly as i enter the rear exit down the elevator, I am delighted so see fresh flowers at the entry; as well as a very big and well planned vegetable/fruit section. The layout of this coles is spacious and there is always plenty of stock available at almost any time. Usually as couples do, my wife and I sometimes have small arguments about what we want to cook for dinner, but as soon as we go to the vegetable section we find inspiration. On another note, the music playlist is pretty good for a supermarket.
Keep up the great work, you should be proud.
Bad counter service three or more times in one month.
The store lacks stock management. No sale. Male on service desk cons to upsell. Buy from other supermarket.
Nice to find a regular supermarket in an area I expected to find overpriced upscale markets. Regular store, regular prices. I must have picked good times to go because it was never over crowded. Busy, sure, but I was easily able to do my shopping, and there was no wait to check out at the self-check.
Once you get inside it's a decent Coles supermarket.
But the car park and number of customers makes this supermarket more annoying to shop at then it should be.
But there aren't many other options near by so you don't have much of a choice then to deal with it.
Overall, not bad.
ZERO STARS: the attitude of employees at Coles Port Melb is so repugnant that I've resigned to shopping at pricier Port Melbourne Grocer where the friendly staff appreciate your business, and the fact you're paying their wages.
I like this store! Plenty of fresh salads, serve yourself olives, sun-dried tomatoes and prepared fruit salads in one- or two-person packs, excellent bakery, roof-top parking and friendly staff! I always shop here when just off the Spirit from Tas.
Susan the check out chick is amazing and should be given some kind of raise for the amazing customer service she provides. She's friendly, has good conversation and actually seems to love the job. Please give her some kind of recognition!
Customers kept waiting and ignored by indifferent deli staff. Fruit and vegetables well past their use by date still being offered for sale. Misleading pricing and malfunctioning self serve checkout machines. Need I say more?
I have known this supermarket since it was built. I haven't been to this particular store in 3 years or so. Sometimes over the years, the complex was a shambles, it was usually expensive and you received poor service. Nowadays, recently, it is able to compete with other major supermarkets in the area.
Good selection and value. Lacking in variety on the fish counter (basic white fish, salmon and small selection of seafood available), and was unable to get some ingredients (sherry vinegar). Overall good value for money, would go elsewhere for more specialist ingredients and fish if needed.
Since we move to the area we are really happy, it's nice to meet the staff and sometimes have a nice chat, always helpful. Good persons working everyday here.
