Coles Glenroy

Usually you can get what you need here no probs, as long as you don't mind the squalor outside or the threats to your safety from less than savoury people who hang around the front.

Actually quite nice inside. From the outside, it looks a bit old and rundown. It doesn’t help that there’s scary looking people hanging out in the car park. I honestly felt like my car might not be safe. Can’t imagine going there late at night. Hopefully the carpark is well lit.

The supermarket itself had well stocked shelves, fresh produce and was quite nice.

Coles is such a friendly place to shop, I mean I'm there everyday and know all staff and if I need help finding an item they always show me where it is, also next door is Liquorland where I shop on a daily basis excellent staff and the manager Les is like a brother to me, so if you want great service and great prices Coles and Liquorland are the place to go.

Coles is my preferred choice anytime I want to buy something for my home and kitchen especially. Everything they put in there is of excellent quality and under my budget. However, I wonder why don't they provide flybuys points on tobacco products.

A good place to shop everyday items. Has a wide range of vegetables, fruits and dry nuts. With reasonable price of items the Coles at Glenroy is the popular choice for locals.

Lots of Nepalese prefer this store. Hope to see typical Nepalese items in this outlet.

Reasonable place to bee Coles is an old building car park could be better inner facilities are relatively small but ok for quick visit

Always an interesting crowd but you can get just about everything. Never have Boursin cheese like Woolies has but other than that all good. Plenty of self-serve checkouts.

This place is ok to visit but not as great as the one in Coburg: smaller in size, fewer choices in range of products, always having beggers outside. The parking is congested but close to railway station and other shops. Not many good bargains to pick most of the time. I only come occasionally.

Its coles, so it meets multiple standards but lets down in a lot of other areas. Lots of varoety of foods but some things that werent favourable were:
Employees, including casual swearing on the phone, to themself etc.
Cleanliness, products were mostly mismatched, thrown on the ground, opened and some in completely different aisles

A handy store with all grocery necessities not to mention the patient courteous staff, particularly sharan on checkout

I'm going to edit my review and give these guys an extra star. My partner went in with my card to grab something quick and had someone try to steal the card. Staff immediately called security, who came and took handle straight away. Well done, thank you guys!

Original review: Standard Coles. One time I was lucky and caught delivery day and the food was great. One time. Ha, your standard suburban grocery store. Has what you need. If you're lucky they'll rotate the milk.

Wrong! Staff makes all the difference.

When one lives by themselves, friendly supermarket staff makes their day. Believe it or not.

Pretty good location just a few metres from the Glenroy train station, perfect for quick shopping of groceries and liquor.

Nonetheless, Despite being a Coles shop, this venue does not count with the same organisation of products and sections compared to other shops.

Typical coles store. Nice and clean but be aware that there are lot of beggers and cross dressers outside waiting to swoop on you as soon as you walk out the store.

I love shopping at Coles Glenroy. Been shopping there for many years. Know all the workers there. Such friendly, caring, kind & bubbly personalitys. There always there to help.

Would really like the time out to commend the Glenroy Coles store. I work in disabilities and come in every Thursday. We are greeted politely by all of your staff and in particular Carole at the self service takes the time to speak to us and they love her and know her by name. She is a staff member to definitely look up to. A big thankyou to Carole and the team for putting a smile on our faces every Thursday!

I was offended at Coles in Glenroy by one of the staff. Very rude and unprofessional behaviour. Avoid going there now!

Big size market. Usually there's more fresh fish than in others. The self serve machines are the only drawback

Has all the same old stuff like food, milk, toiletries, washing powder etc. You know, like Woolworths but in different isle order. Coles and Woolies, please work on standardising isle order to avoid confusion. Last week I accidentally bought two packets of women's tights from Coles because in the same spot in Woolies you find cat food. Duh.

No proper directory to find where goods are and staff seem not all that interested when you tell them.
