Sure, the restaurant itself is beautiful, the staff are nice and the produce used is of high quality, but the food itself is incredibly uninspiring and lacks excitement.

This place is a must for anyone who enjoys great food! Advise making a booking ahead of time to ensure you get a seat. Happy eating

Flavours can be stronger or enhanced. It lacked the kick. No wowing factors as the dishes are not really original and can easily be found in other overseas Asian Fusion restaurants.

Was expecting better food for the money paid. E.g duck curry was dominated by pepper and otherwise uninspiring. There's better Asian Fusion places around

This place is such a treat for a special occasion, it is exactly what Asian fusion should be. Each dish is prepared with ingenuity and care, so interesting that it’s hard not to pick everything off the menu! So many to choose fr but the clear star dish was the barramundi which was a flavour explosion!

Awesome New York styled restaurant in the heart of Melbourne. It's not cheap but it is fantastic value for those who can afford it.

Great people, great atmosphere, and amazing food. You'll have to taste it to believe it. Or you could come see for yourself. Great prices considering the amount of food they provide. This location is highly recommended if you're in town!

First experience at coda - incredible. Staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

The foods were simply amazing and delicious. I was expecting the foods to be similar to other fusion restaurant but they somehow had their own style and it was great.
Their desserts were very tasty too. It's worth coming for the desserts only.
If you like Asian fusion foods, you should definitely try this place. You can thank me later.

Very pricey "Vietnamese" fusion. Didn't realise half the restaurant is reserved for walk-ins as had been waiting to book for a while. There is only minor hints of Vietnamese flavours sprinkled throughout each dishes. The quail was delicious and the steak okay. The only vegan dessert - coconut mango bombe Alaska, was really a mango Weis bar on a plate.

One of the BEST fusion restaurants in Melbourne. The food was absolutely amazing, not cheap but oh so worth it.

Disappointing end to an overpriced dinner. Completely appreciate that tables need to be turned over, but when we arrived on time and ordered less than recommended to then be told halfway though our main that we had 15mins to finish and no time for dessert was simply rude.the beginning of a slippery slope. Paid the bill then chased out the door as apparently we were charged incorrectly.oh and then we had to hunt out our own coats. Not the level of service I would expect. Do yourself a favour, we Highly recommend visiting the restaurant next door Lucy Liu. Cheerful service, amazing food!

Fantastic food, wine and service. They always have an interesting menu that's so fresh and full of flavour. Hands down my favourite restaurant in Melbourne.

The food is amazing. We took an option where they just bring small plates out until you are full. So good. Every little course was so flavourful with different textures and colours. So delicious. So delicious.

The wine list is extensive, with a good price options with staff who are able to advise on what wine would match what you are having.

Not going to say that it is cheap, but it is worth every cent. Would recommend booking ahead.fills up pretty quickly.

Been living in Melbourne for over a year and it's hands down the best dining experience I've had yet the food was incredible and perfect timing between dishes the wait staff were fantastic, sociable and knowledgeable and it was so nice to see the kitchen staff enjoying themselves and making jokes with one another. All round a great culture at coda and a fantastic dining experience. Good work to the whole team.

Very average food, most food was lacklustre, and service was rude - the male waiter basically threw our drinks at us.
