Chicken Central

Went here with my bf to have chicken cheeze burger and it was amazing. Tasty and fresh and bread was one of most delicious i had in a while.not the typical commercial burger bun but had a more sourdough feel which elevates it to gourmet status rather than a cheap fastfood chain style burger.

Man, there is nothing I could make that tastes as good as the BOP burger from Chicken Central. The chicken was juicy and perfect, the bun tasted like some kind of ciabatta-y heaven and the pineapple slice had a… dressing? I dunno, either way, go here for all your burger needs.

They cook a mean bird this mob. Definitely worth the extra couple bucks you might spend. The risoni salad is sensational.

The chicken and salads are always fresh and servings generous here. Most times the staff are very good and obliging but not always. Today I have listened to two female staff members screech across the counter at one another about all manner of topics ranging from the merits of one store over another and staff movements. It won't stop me going but it's not a good look.

Ordered by phone 20 minutes befor arriving there was only 1 person in the store and they hadn't even started making my order

Chicken Central, it's typically on a street corner, ever noticed that? Makes business sense.

What makes more sense is Chicken Central's tasty chicken. Juicy chicken, good variety of burgers and wraps. Crunchy chips, gravy available. Staff tend to be great.

One suggested improvement, they need to offer potato cakes.

Overall, a great chicken shop.

Good service terrible food chicken was burnt asked for redo and came back burnt again not happy almost 20 bucks worth and couldn't eat more than a bite

Been to this place three times. The wraps and burgers are decent but they put too much sauce in them. I ordered chicken strips and they were overcooked and dry. The chips at this joint are abhorrent, its like they don't even care. All 3 times the chips have been garbage. Won't be ordering from here ever again. I'd only go here if you're desperate.

Honestly, The best charcoal chicken I have ever tasted! So moist and full of flavour.that's coz it was organic (not pumped full of hormones!) Beaut range of fresh healthy salads, and chips were tops! Will be back!

Manager was rude to me and my friends and other customers. Ranted at my friends for spilling a bit of our coke.

Won’t be back. For a place that specialises in chicken, it was the driest, even burnt, one I’d ever tasted. Bland, flavourless burgers, too.
They refused to swap the chips in my combo for a salad.and to top it off, packed my takeaway order without any cutlery.

Was very very nice chicken.had the 1/4 chicken and chips and a chicken roll. The chicken roll had gravey and I asked for some coleslaw.was worth every cent. A little bit exce but I suppose you're buying organic chicken

They do the best most succulent chicken, the chicken wrap with bacon and tasty aioli is gr8, as well as the salads and the staff are friendly

Chicken Central Balwyn - The free range roast chicken here is moist and delicious. Their chicken burgers and chicken wraps are also very tasty and there's a good variety, I love their salads, roast veggies, chips and gravy too. There's so much delicious food here you won't be disappointed.
You might grab a car park in Whitehorse Rd, but there's a decent carpark out the back accessed from Yerrin St. The staff are friendly and efficient and prices are reasonable too. Please consider supporting this great local.

Chicken raw inside. Tried to call in to let them know unfortunately they didn't answer so ended up posting this.

3pm on a sunday with a grand total of 1 customer in the store, wasnt greeted or served by any of the three staff working.stood next to point of sale waiting to be served for about 5 mins, an elderly gentleman walks in and is greeted immediately, lol.pathetic customer service.

Worst. Ordered large chicken only to regret. It's too salty, no flavor. Couldn't eat a bit. They should probably change their name to Salty Chicken Central.

Do not recommend this place.

Had a whole chicken and large roast veggies. The chicken was OK, nothing special, but the roast veggies were terrible, taste and texture was like if you've ever bought chips one night, then warmed the up the next day, well tasted just like that; old and dry with a sweaty feet taste. Terrible experience for a franchise chain.

Waited over 30 mins for a full chicken & chips: while they were too busy focusing on Uber eats! NOT COOL

Went here and got chicken and chips, I would recommend NOT to go he due to the fact that I got food poisoning from the chicken.
