BALWYN CHICKEN CENTRAL
Food - Chard remains. Dry & tough over cooked chicken. Coleslaw wasn’t fresh & looked dull. All inedible & ended up being discarded.
Service - Unfriendly, girl serving couldn’t even smile, maintaining a blank face.
Atmosphere - Nothing special & all tables were free but all were dirty. Considering there was only one other customer & three staff there was no reason why they weren’t attended too, especially when the guy was just wandering around the shop doing nothing.
Should have bought a chicken & coleslaw from Woolworths next door.

Chicken Central Balwyn - The free range roast chicken here is moist and delicious. Their chicken burgers and chicken wraps are also very tasty and there's a good variety, I love their salads, chips and gravy too, plus they have five as well. There's so much delicious food here you won't be disappointed.
You might grab a car park in Whitehorse Rd, but there's a decent carpark out the back accessed from Yerrin St. The staff are friendly and efficient and prices are reasonable too. Please consider supporting this great local.

Chicken is good. Fries too expensive. Background music might appeal to the people working there but should be good for the customers.

Not sure if there’s been a change of management or what but this place has gone from fantastic to never again!
Chicken raw, fatty and green bits, yes green bits.
Salads look like they’ve been sitting there for weeks and taste like it too.

My go to food place when in Balwyn. Delicious food, especially loaded fries. The pack with salad and rice/chips is yum for a lighter lunch! Easy to fit into a diet. Wait times can be a bit long sometimes but worth it!

I had their barbecue chicken roll, I think it had half a chicken in it literally, Wow, it was lovely I only just managed to get through, highly recommend

Chicken was ok. $19 for whole chicken. $11.50 for half which we bought.
Found the chicken dry. Had to add a gravy at home. Not a chicken I would run back for. If you have other options would look elsewhere.

Always very nice tasting, the recent price increases, with smaller servings, makes this place not really worth it anymore. Pity, was great until a few months ago. However I still order the slider, good value for $5 and tasty, love that American cheese.

The staff were AMAZING when I accidentally ordered at the wrong location online - they sorted out the issue for me and didn't make me pay any extra. Delicious food and the BEST customer service!

Won’t be coming back- waited over 35 minutes for 2 meals and were missing the chips, went back in and was told it would be another 5 min wait- left still missing 1 x chips. Everything was dry and cold

Chicken was good. Skin was delicious, was a large chicken so a bit of dry breast was to be expected
Chips were great too, gravy left a bit to be desired.

Great option for after school dinner pickup. Chips are a bit too salty though but great options all round.

Just uber eats because l have covidd and the chicken was so Dry and the chips were so over cooked. Normally the chicken is really good. I couldn't eat it my dog ate some. Not HAPPY AT ALL

Our house calls it 'chip central' as often they do run out of chicken! When they have the chicken it is generally very good, though sometimes a bit dry. Chips are good but a bit pricey.

Highly recommend Kevy's special sauce. Really filled me up and made me feel warm and welcomed, although it has a very bitter and salty aftertaste. 100% worth the $420.69 I spent on it

I had a salad here 1/2 greek and other 1/2 coleslaw asked for salad dressing the question was some what dismissed no salad dressing

Actually goated ngl. Had to ratio someone working there and i got a free chips. They had something called the “kevy super sussy sauce” it was very succulent. But unfortunately youngboy is better.

Service was prompt and courteous. Chicken tasty but no vegies or potatoes available
only chips so disappointed.

When it first opened it was 5 star. Last 2 orders we have had contained well over-cooked chicken in the burgers. To the point they were black.
So was good, now not. For the price you pay I would go elsewhere.
