Cherry Collectables

I have purchased from them before and they were just okay; unfortunately, they refuse to take small requests that would take the packing/shipping team literally a couple of seconds to fulfill, such as packing a well centered card if the buyer wants one. Not everyone makes these requests so I don't see the harm in making a small number of their customers extra satisfied.
What is truly upsetting is that they condone and accommodate scalpers. I was looking to buy a few rare cards from the latest Pokemon set during presale (prices were fair) but decided to ask them a question about the cards first via email. I waited a whole day for a response which never came, and someone proceeded to seize all 20 copies each of all three rare cards I was going to purchase, no doubt to scalp. After inquiring about the incident, this time I actually received a response: "I will not be cancelling that order I am sorry. If someone wants to buy in bulk we will always allow that. If they can resell higher then good luck to them. " So basically I was told, "Tough luck, we don't care about scalpers as long as we move our inventory. "
In this day and age, everyone is aware of and despises scalpers (cough hand sanitizer, PS5, GPU, cough) and most retailers have responded by imposing limits on sought after products. If a business can't keep up with the times and refuses to adapt to the current environment, then I won't be giving them any more of my patronage.

Thank you so much to the team at Cherry Collectables for their kindness and help when my son was sick with covid last week while I was also in isolation and couldn't leave home. We tried using a cab service to collect a parcel from Cherry which got cancelled multiple times, but the team at Cherry were so willing to be flexible with their time, wait outside if needed and were altogether lovely understanding out situation - we had a failed attempt that day. The next morning I received an unprompted message saying they would be willing to be around out of hours if needed - and they gave my son a kind note and a gift knowing he was unwell. So kind, responsive and friendly - my son will be back in person now he's better.)

Good customer service is dead! Walked in and wasn’t even recognised or acknowledged by the two staff working the floor. Spent 15min in store and didn’t even get a blink of an eye from either staff, they just kept on sorting their cards. I was wanting to by a card but after my experienced there was no way I was going to be parting with my $$. Surely a hello, how’s the day, what brings you to cherry wouldn’t hurt.

Save yourself from an unprofessional and arrogant experience and just sell online. For a store that is open for 4 hours a day, you have no idea about how to treat a customer or potential customer and you should shut shop now before more people have the same experience. You neglect enquiries and don't reply to communications Dale you are a goose!

Amazing customer service and prices. Made a mistake on my order and the team fixed it up at their cost. Awesome and I will be buying from them as much as possible in the future.

Been a Cherry client for a few years, when they promise something they fulfill it. Even buy back cards and offer extremely fair deals/trades. Great People and a professional Business. Cheers

I’ve been buying from Cherry Collectibles for years and haven’t had an issue. They respond unbelievably quickly to answer any queries. They always have the best prices and a greater assortment of Pokémon and Yugioh cards. Highly recommend.

Good place to be, it's a fair bit away from the main Melb CBD but still worth the trip to be there. Friendly staffs looking after customers.

A staff kept me company and having nice/funny coversations and stories while I was making a very tough decision on what to buy. Prices here have great deals and discounts, can't wait to come back again!

Came here with my boyfriend to look through yu gi oh cards for an hour before our flight back to sydney.staff were fun and welcoming, prices were surprisingly cheap (excluding top shelf/rare items but this is reasonable), and a vast selection to choose from.if we knew how great this place was we definitely would’ve allocated more time to visit (but unfortunately we’re cut short due to plane times). Even though we were only there for yu gi oh they also offered some pokemon items (which was amazing bc i’m a big fan). Will definitely stop by when we visit melbourne again!

They are just phenomenonal I ordered few yu-gi-oh cards first I was not sure about them but I ordered anyway. I received my order in 2 weeks as it was an international order, the cards were in extremely good condition and were safely packed and protected. I would recommend them if u want to buy cards.

First time buying a booster box from cherry collectables. Seamless transaction and the man who served me was friendly.

Damien was super quick and helpful to purchase the massive amount of Pokemon cards I wanted to sell. Done and paid within 10 mins of me getting there. Super efficient.

Cherry is by far THE WORST I’ve dealt with. This is the second time dealing with them. Was looking to sell some cards made me wait out the front, i drove 1 hr n half and hoping to make a deal but was meet with terrible customer service and staff are very rude and gave me a complete low ball price. Do not waste your time, I thought I would give them a second chance after my first experience with them was also terrible. DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME!

Can't say enough nice things about Dale and Blake these guys are amazing and always answer any questions I have, I'm newer to breaks this year but been collecting for a few years now. The breaks are always entertaining and also informative and look forward to going into the store in person soon

Never sell to Cherry. Constant lowballing and when you call them out on their lowballing they try to "justify" the offer. I understand that they need to make some profit but they lowball horribly. Cards price is X and they offered 60% of the price. Then they tried to justify it by mentioning the recent sales of foreign cards which are cheaper than the English versions loool.

If there are some people who don't know the cards prices to well they can easily get swindled at Cherry.
