I was quite disappointed with the girl at the counter in Hampton park warehouse. She was so rude and will not go back to this chemist warehouse. Customer seriously out of the door in this place.

We spend average $200 on hubby's meds each month at CORIO, Victoria Chemist Warehouse. At last visit I incorrectly purchased wrong face cream for myself and tried to exchange for correct one yesterday - only to be told 'Store Policy'. Exchanges only allowed within 7 days of purchase. I said this is not stated on receipt provided and was ILLEGAL according to Australian Consumer Law & ACCC - I was told to contact Head Office (which can only be done on website email form).
Do CW owners Jack Gance & Mario Verrocchi know that CW is actually breaking the Law?
I will report to Consumer Affairs Victoria & ACCC. And, perhaps 'A Current Affair' could enlighten Australians of this malpractice.

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had:

I had to call customer service about a "next day" delivery that did not arrive the next day. I have to say it was a less than satisfactory customer service experience and not only do I feel disappointed in the less than accurately described online prescription "next day" express delivery service, I also feel as though the customer service representative I spoke to was unhelpful, angry and ultimately didn't care to try find a resolution to my problem over shutting down my complaint.

I’m very unhappy and honestly I just don't get it, just refund the delivery!

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent visit to your pharmacy in Brookvale. On Tuesday 14th March, I presented a prescription for my 18-year-old son's ADHD medication, but it was refused on the grounds that it was fraudulent. As a professional older woman, I found the way I was treated by your staff to be unwarranted and unjustified.

During my visit, I was met with suspicion and was made to wait for over 45 minutes without a clear explanation for the delay, despite asking for updates on three separate occasions. It was only after I voiced my dissatisfaction that I was informed that the staff had contacted my son's psychiatrist to verify the legitimacy of the prescription.

It was almost 5pm and my son needed his meds for school the next day, so I asked for our prescription back, however the pharmacist's behaviour towards me was rude and unprofessional. She smirked and refused to return the script without speaking to the psychiatrist first. Only after I demanded my script back did she relinquish!

I drove to my local pharmacist who filled the prescription within 5 minutes without question. I believe that this experience was unacceptable discrimination, and the staff's behaviour was unprofessional and unjust.

I submitted a formal letter of complaint the following day, requesting an explanation and apology. However, it has been over four weeks since then, and I have yet to receive any response or acknowledgement. It has been complete radio silence from the pharmacy.

If I had exhibited signs of drug dependency and addiction, such as scabs or sores on my skin from scratching or picking, been underweight, or looked unwell, then their reaction might have been warranted. However, none of those characteristics apply to me, and it is unacceptable that I was treated with suspicion and contempt by staff members who were much younger than me. It is simply disgraceful. Furthermore, even if a customer at Chemist Warehouse presented with signs of drug dependency, they should be treated with care and professionalism to help them seek assistance, rather than with suspicion and judgment.

Judging from the abundance of one- and two-star reviews and the lack of response to customer feedback, it is evident that there is a recurring pattern of poor customer service. My suggestion would be to endorse and back smaller, independently owned pharmacies.

I purchased over the counter Children's Claratyne Hayfever syrup and after reviewing online reviews about the product I went back to Hoppers crossing (VIC) store to return it. Pharmacist was not helpful at all as first she came and listen to my concern to return the syrup and then she went back stating that she will ask manager to come and speak to me about. After waited for almost 5minutes no one came near the counter and then another pharmacist came and said Manager is on lunch and I have to wait for 30minutes: - (. For a very small product to get refunded as a customer I didn't received any service. I will be taking the concern of my refund to ACCC as clearly I am not the first one who has to go through the excuses of not providing the refund that Chemist warehouse staff gives. I have taken a photo's of the store were the products has been displayed and there was no sign of refund policy what so ever. I don't want to give any star but without selecting the star I can't post my feedback.

Recently had several issues with a Chemist Warehouse Pharmacy.
I contacted head office and spoke to Drew.
I told him I had some disappointing experiences at one of their stores.
He told me that someone would be contacting me in a couple days (which is now well over a week.)
Still waiting to hear from head office.
Extremely poor service and very disappointing.

Chemist Wearhouse Coolaroo, would have to be the worst of all the ones in this area. Pharmacist are rude and make you feel like your invisible when picking up your script.
Complain to head office and they can’t even contact you to speak about your complaint.

I received perfume for mothers day and it was the wrong one, however I went back to exchange for right one. Upon trying to exchange, the manager did not allow me to exchange even though I did not open it. This is completely unprofessional especially coming from a manager. She overall was very rude. Not recommending chemist warehouse chadstone to anyone.

Just to share that I have been told by Head Office that if one of the yellow "Specials" tickets indicating a sale price has expired, they do not honour the displayed price even if the ticket is left on the shelf. They expect customers to check the expiry date on the yellow ticket. Basically, they are not taking responsibility for their staff's tardiness. If that is the case, then they should really make the expiry date of the sale a lot more obvious on the yellow sale ticket - not have them in the small print that they do currently!

Absolutely terrible I have emailed 4 times regarding order not arriving and I have rung and rung multiple times In NZ and eventually head office in Australia and no one answers then phone goes dead. They have my money and yet still i have no product and no acknowledgement of messages. This is the worst online experience I have ever had and do not recommend them at all. Absolute disgusting.

Placed an order on the 12th of January and it has not even been processed for dispatch yet. I have sent multiple emails to customer support with no response. I understand there are delays at the moment but this is ridiculous and completely unacceptable.

Company has not delivered order almost a month on which just remains on processing status. There is no communication, have sent emails which go unresponded, when you ring you get an automated message saying to call back later leaving customers with no way of communication with the company. They are ignoring their social media messages. Their Facebook page is riddled with the same complaints with countless people having ordered, not receiving goods and unable to make any contact with the company to organise refunds or find out orders status. Won't ever use this company again due to this unethical conduct. You need to give people their money back.

I called recently regarding fragrances. The person I spoke with could not speak English well and it was impossible to get an answer to my query as I couldn't understand what they were saying. So much for customer service. CW has lost me as a customer. There is plenty of choice out there!

If I could Give a zero I would head office do not even deserve 1 star they are pathetic and don't look after there valued customers you should be ashamed of your selves what happened to customer service will not shop in one of your stores again

I booked a Flu vaccination online of February 10th 2022.on my statement i realised the booking had been done twice! I went to Sefton Park store at Prospect on Feb. 14th & spoke to the pharmacist, he was able to cancel one of the bookings & told me my refund will take a couple of days!
4 weeks later i am still waiting for my $17.99 refund, i went back to the pharmacy on Feb 21st & spoke to the same pharmacist & he told me he would chase it up with head office, they are workers down.
Its now March 15th & i still have no refund, tried calling Head Office twice today, but was just left to dangle on hold for 20 minutes both times! This is not good enough, i spend a fortune at Chemist Warehouse & expect some sort of reply!
I know its only $17.99 but times that by 2 & im paying $35 for 1 vaccination, would be cheaper to drive to Gumeracha to my GP & get the vacc for free from him, thats wat i'll be doing next year! Disgusting customer service by Head Office!

Was sick and self-isolated. Ordered online on 9 January, the payment was pending for 4 days and I asked a friend to purchase and deliver to my door. Filled online form to cancel and refund. I received an email 29 Jan that if I want to cancel need to call, called and waited 25 min and no answer. I received and email on 31 Jan that my order is split as they do not have all product in one shop. I called and after 49 min on call issue resolved and told me refunded and be in account in two days.

Never shop at chemist warehouse in Bentleigh in Melbourne! I needed medication and phone to order them as my husband and I have COVID and couldn’t get it ourselves so I had someone else to get it for us. I had to call three times each time it was not put through the system. Lady I spoke to was rude and recommended that I go somewhere else if you want faster service as first priority is the customers in the shop. I told her how disappointed I was as I shop there often but now will not be back and took her advice and called the chemist few doors up Priceline who took my call and got the medicine the pharmacist was happy to help and more importantly was very polite.
