Tried this service after a friend’s recommendation. What a disappointment. Some positives - The order process was smooth and straight forward. The meals arrived on time on Sunday and correctly. The meals are delicious. BUT! The deal breaker for me is how tiny is the serving! I’ve signed up for the regular portion and the portion I got was impossible to stay full on. The rice wasn’t even filled all the way to the top of the container. Just a rip off with the price per meal I’ve paid. I ended up eating two packs per meal. Ended up more expensive than take away. I cancelled my plan very quickly! New subscribers - beware!

I’ve been getting ChefGood delivered for a little while now.

I am 24 years old - I constantly train as fitness is what I’m into. Bouldering, daily runs, strength training, swimming etc.

I have tried all of the meal delivery services from MuscleChef to HelloFresh etc.

I must say ChefGood definitely takes the cake on this one. The meals are perfectly portioned. Anyone saying that it’s not is simply not used to appropriate portion of food. I have lunch and dinner delivered - high protein snacks in between or even a protein shake in the morning or after training and I’m set for the day.

The food is absolutely fresh and tastes great- All of them actually do taste great & they genuinely taste fresh. The guest chefs providing a change every now and then is also great. The south indian prawn and rice especially were amazing.

If you’re into fitness, keeping track of what you eat or just don’t have the time to cook due to a busy life. I highly suggest ChefGood. Take it from someone who has spent far too much $ testing all the food delivery businesses. Definitely easy to order and has always been consistent for me.
I’ll be a customer for a long time.

Didn't deliver food at all, when questioned they said it was definitely collected but lost in transit. This seems to be a common occurrence with them, I'd question the authenticity of this business.

The food was okay, food for fitness is better.
The reason for the -4 stars is that they say no lock in plans, then I get an email saying my next delivery has processed. No emails prior or option to cancel the delivery and they wont even allow me to delete my account. I wasted $200+ on deliveries when I didnt even know I was still with chefgood. Disgusting.

Meals are good and healthy. Comes quickly. My only issue is the automatic renew of your meal. Sometimes you don't get an email about the upcoming delivery and you end up paying for meal you didn't even wanted. When you ask to cancel on time they are not really cooperative.

Best pre-made meals I've tried and I've tried a few! Fresh, falvoursom and healthy. Good value for money especially factoring in the convenience.

Their meals taste natural - like they are homemade, not processed or artificial. I've only tried Chefgood and Youfoodz. I think that the taste and quality of Chefgood is much better.

I went on line to pause my order and discovered that it had not been paused when an attempt to debit my credit card was done. I lock my card between online uses to prevent fraud. When I called up Rafferal advised me that I "had not paused my order" and it would be processed. After a heated discussion the order was withdrawn.
The food was in general reasonable except for the salad which was a limp cucumber and a shrivelled up tomato.
Would I restart my order NEVER

I am still waiting for my delivery to Canberra which was supposed to arrive this morning. I received a text message telling me that it had been delayed. I have had no further communication. I tried chatting this afternoon, but as with the last time I tried using the chat, it "timed out" and then (allegedly) opened a ticket. I am yet to have any response.

If I was the business owner (they have probably run away quickly after the Marley Spoon buyout), I would like to think that I would be far more proactive in informing my (assumedly) valuable customers as to what is happening.

I just tried calling the office and what a waste of time that was, when you have a message which states every fifteen seconds that you are a valuable customer, I am thinking that it must be undertaken with some sort of hypnotic effect to make you believe that you are actually valued when every other action being taken is firmly reinforcing the counter argument.

I had been a very happy customer up until a few weeks ago, but it has been all down hill since then. The food quality (when it's delivered on time) is good, but the packaging quality is going downhill. The plastic containers are getting thinner, as is the film covering the meals. Two weeks ago, I had been able to easily remove the film in one piece, now it tears everywhere and is just an exercise in frustration.

If these changes are due to cost cutting by the new parent company, then maybe it's time to change providers, at least to one that is capable of communicating when there is an issue.

I have been ordering Light n Easy meals for my sister and the customer experience with them has been fantastic. Perhaps it's time to move on.

It's such a shame because I had been very happy with the product and service until just recently.

These meals have been a game changer in the lead up to my competition. Life is so busy having a young family, working full time and training after work. I’ve saved so much time by having meals ready to eat. It’s meant that I’ve been able to stick to my nutrition plan and make sure that I’m eating enough meals to fuel my heavy training sessions.

I'm sitting here eating my mouthwatering chefgood gnocchi while my baby naps, and I am so damn thankful for this service and quality as I navigate being a first time mum. The other day I grabbed a wrap from the fridge as I ran out the door to put bub in the car to ensure a nap, there have been too many times I've done that drive starving hungry wishing I had lunch! The assurance of having ready-to-go meals in the fridge and freezer just lessens the stress and anxiety of motherhood so much and ensures I'm being nourished. I find myself being so excited to browse and confirm the following weeks order, the website it incredibly simple to use and my order is updated within a few clicks. The delivery driver gives me a call when he's here too as I'm in an apartment, which just shows the quality of the entire chefgood experience. The vegan, vegetarian and GF options are awesome for other requirements and preferences too. I tried Chefgood back in 2019 and am very glad I returned again now, I would wholeheartedly recommend chefgood to all my family and friends.

I’ve tried lots of different meal companies over the years and can easily say that Chef Good meals are by far the best! I tried the beef & vegetable ravioli last night and it tasted better than buying it from a restaurant. 10/10.

Our account is under my wife Tammeah Heathfield SA, we also tried multiple times to discuss opportunities to wholesale in our gym facilities but your great customer service neglected to even write back to us - we are moving to Youfoodz -this industry you've decided to compete in is very competitive, outsourcing your customer service to hopeless call centres is poor, deliver is poor and business partnerships are poor.

Meals were small for the price.
Most meals except the wrap were tasteless.
The wrap was fresh & tasty.
The chicken meatballs I found to be very bland with just ok sauce. I couldn't eat more then 1/2 a meatball. It was a weird texture, & there was only 3 medium meatballs.not enough to satisfy me unless I had 2 meals.
