Chai Thai Restaurant

We have always been extremely satisfied with Chai Thai, but this order tonight what normally takes 15min has taken over 90 min to be prepared and delayed for delivery. Understand circumstances are hard at the moment but its pretty annoying when they know it’s always busy on a Friday night they should staff up accordingly

Best Thai food in Melbourne! The Chicken Massaman curry is so great! It will warm you up especially during the winter. Also puts you in a good mood:)

Other Thai restaurants simply don’t compare, this place is brilliant! The Crispy Pork Belly Pad See Ew is awesome, and so are the Bao Buns! Highly recommend.

Chai Thai is the BEST Thai food anywhere around the area. Fresh, clean, super delicious, low prices, and has that special touch that comes when you support small, local, family-run businesses. You can tell they care and are cooking authentically with love. I’ve loved every single thing I’ve ordered from Chai Thai, and I will be back soon. Do yourself a favor and get some roti bread along with whatever other amazing dishes you order!

3 entrees and 3 mains and everything looked and tasted absolutely delicious. The veges were fresh, the meats (especially the duck) were cooked perfectly, and the thai red curry, well let’s just say im glad its such a generous serve because i could not stop eating it. Even the coconut rice was perfect. Great service too can’t wait to go back to this place!

However it arrived super cold and also we didn't receive any of the promos as mentioned on the website (after spending roughly $60)
Disappointed as we called the restaurant and the man on the phone said he would get the boss to call back however never received any call back or email.

Best Thai food in Melbourne! Every time the food here is incredible. I’ve tried almost half the menu and loved everything, especially the yellow curry and Tom yum soup. The food tastes fresh and bursting with flavor.

Ordered delivery through menu log, pad thai and money bags.money bags were good but the pad thai, which made up the 2 mains, was tasteless. Lucky we had some extra lemon and tabasco at home to give it some flavor and make it edible. Heard good things about this place, which made it more dissappointing. Pad Thai is one of the most popular thai dishes, if you can't get this right, then I'm not going to give it a second chance.

Excellent service & a fine range of dishes available to suit any pallet. Thai food is definitely one of my favorites. Especially the beautiful crunchy vegetables, not over cooked & done to perfection. Price wise l was pleasantly surprised & overall well worth eating at rhis restaurant. It was a lovely catch up with my children, which l thoroughly enjoyed.

Fabulous food, excellent prices, quick and friendly service. So lucky to have this so close to home. Now our favourite place to go for Thai.

We ordered takeaway Pad See Ew which had a lovely char to it, fried rice is always a winner as well as their basil stir fries. Thanks for a yummy meal as always!

Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the staff went above and beyond! We ordered food from here on uber eats and requested no onion due to a food allergy. Received a call from a staff member there who advised us that both dishes we ordered had onion powder in the sauces. She put the chef on the phone who suggested alternative orders and offered to make a fresh sauce without onion. They also wrote on our receipt to tell us that the green veggies they added were chives and not spring onion - very thoughtful! We’re extremely impressed with both the food and the service - will definitely be long term customers! Could not recommend more for people with allergies or people who just love good Thai food:)
