Chai Thai Restaurant

I won't go for any other Thai restaurant in Melbourne. I am a regular here after recommended by my friend.
Apart from the quality of food, there is a service with smile.
The lady who served us today was very friendly and served everyone including delivery drivers with a smile.

My wife and i ordered UBER from this restaurant and it was amazing. Thank you for the yummy dinner we had.

Absolutely delicious Thai food at a reasonable price. Highly recommend the Vegetable and Tofu Thai Green Curry, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

What a crazy, phenomenal hidden gem this place is! Wow. From the outside, Chai Thai looks exceptionally unassuming and yet you go inside and from the get go, the staff are on the ball and there is pretty much nothing to fault.
Some Thai restaurants just can't get it together. If they're doing takeaways, they often drop the ball somewhere, but not here. The staff were friendly and took our order promptly, and all of the food came out in great time.
The Chicken Curry Puffs were really, really good and my Chicken Fried Rice was great too. Everyone loved their soups and mains, and the flavours were so yummy. There are also one or two dishes on the menu that I've not seen at other Thai places, so I will definitely be back to broaden my horizons.
Pricing is really spot on and parking is ample, so combine that with beautiful food and good service, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting a good Thai meal. I loved it.

We recently had a takeaway at chai Thai. It was little disappointing to eat crab fried rice with shells in it. And it was not even fried rice it was just rice mixed with crabs and eggs. Nothing special with the entrée items.

Accepting too much order for take away and no one is serving for the people dining inside the restaurant whose waiting for an hour starving for the main to be served.

I have been to Thailand 5 times and to hundreds of Thai restaurants and Chai Thai is one of my favourites.

I previously gave this place a 1 star review about a year ago. Gave it another run and this is one of the best thai places I've eaten at. Could have just been a one-off night that I didn't have the experience I was expecting. In any case, food here is amazing. Tasty as. Def recommend.
