Centre Com Abbotsford reviews
73These guys are the best! David repaired my PC in record time. All the staff very helpfull when I had to buy a new monitor too. Great prices, Great service, Great Location.
Today I called Centre Com's Richmond branch to try to solve a problem with connecting my new computer to my WiFi router. I spent several days trying to undo a mistake I had made which caused the issue to begin with. It was caused when I was trying to optimise my setup to suit my work. Accidentally, I had erased a file I thought was redundant. Although I'm not very tech savvy, usually I can get by on my own, however this time I couldn't work out why I could not connect my computer to my router successfully especially when other devices worked fine. Finally I sought help from Centre Com's helpful staff. Unfortunately there were no tech staff available to help, so Raff offered to help with his exceptional knowledge. His cool systematic approach and his excellent people skills helped me get my pc and router issue quickly sorted. He put me on the right track, and the stress of not having my several thousand dollar computer becoming just an expensive doorstop, were avoided. All I can say is thanks Raff for your expertise and professional A Grade service, something which is becoming rarer by the day. So if you are looking for great service, very competitive prices and someone who is willing to offer a patient ear to their customers, I highly recommend heading over to Centre Com (Richmond) and ask for Raff. He will guide you to something which suits your needs, and give you a five star service.
I had a great store experience. Amazing service, Ash helped me to get SD cards for my camera and helped order other things that weren't in store and arrive so quickly. Very happy with the overall service, nice job guys =)
Beware buying discounted items - warranty issues
I bought a blue yeti nano on sale, when I tried to warranty it they informed me that they don't stock that colour of blue yeti nano anymore so they could only offer me a refund not a replacement or repaired unit.
They tried to give me credit, to buy the same item but just in a different colour which was $50 more.
Now I'm out of a microphone and not at all happy with their warranty process. Will be thinking twice before buying discounted items there again
Very busy store because they are great at what they do. Always helpful, always get what I want if sometimes it isn't an item, they offer great advice. Techies advising tech, great combo.
I have to admit, their return policy is a little dicey. Centrecom are generally curious tech people running a business so they do want to check the return claims to make sure the returns are legitimate.
However manufacturer return is not ok as I bother the item as a retail customer paying retail prices, and not supplier prices which is retail cost price.
Above all good service, good products.
Oh and some of the staff seem to be quite introverted and probably can do with some soft skills training.
Good sales people, terrible technician and turn around times. After spending about $2500 on parts I brought my pc in to get built as I couldn't do it myself. I hoped it would be done in 1 - 2 days before the weekend. I was told the technician was quiet at this time so I left it. After checking in 6 hours after dropping it off I spoke to the technician and he said there was no "job". This meant no one bothered telling him it needed to be done so it just sat there in storage. The next day on the Friday I call to see what the chances of the build being done before the weekend and I was told most likely Monday or Tuesday. I have had to take the pc back and take it to a differemt tech services store. Phinko despite being much bussier can do the build in 1 day or less. That's service. Don't get you pc build done with centrecom it would take close to 1 week for a general pc build. Lastly you can't personalise or ask for requests or share information. It was clear they don't care about helping customers even those who spend $1000s per year.
If you would like to go shopping for your IT needs and meet a nice group of tech savvy people, this is your place. Ethan and the rest of the crew made sure all my questions were answered, they actually listened to my questions and provided solutions. This is the centrecom store to shop at I really should emphasise that. Shop at this store.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would!
I don't know a lot about computers but the staff were kind and patient with me and helped me get the laptop that was right for me and my budget; I was really impressed with my whole experience!
Have been a customer before and have been so happy. Based on my past experiences I looked no further & went to Centrecom again to purchase a new computer and wanted to support local small business. The salesperson was helpful with reasonable technical knowledge - I am not a tech head so needed the expertise of specialists. We purchased an entire package around $1500. Seeing as we purchased an entire package I asked for a discount. The manager was called upon. A very impersonable arrogant rude manager who has poor customer service skills. Had to liaise with him a couple of weeks later as the expensive keyboard & mouse I was sold was incompatible to the CPU. I was advised I needed a toggle to make the keyboard & mouse Bluetooth enabled. I was informed I had to purchase it at $10. Poor decision. I was inconvenienced & I had to fork out more money to rectify an issue that I did not create. The manager reluctantly said he’d give me one free eventually. Sad uncomfortable interaction with this manager. Maybe need to brush up on customer service skills 101.
Happy to continue supporting small business as we are a small business ourselves however good customer service goes a long way.
I love this place. I used to shop around to find deals maybe $2-$10 cheaper but now I just buy all my İT needs from here. The staff are awesome Ethan is the best
Beautiful experience! Jack is the best employee.hands down brilliant customer service, lovely, knowledgeable and an expert at animal crossing and stardew valley 39/10
Great phone service from Jack today
Helped out with my queries & provided options based on the requirements provided to him (he listened to what I needed & didn't push anything)
Will definitely be back!
Always have the best products and service but it's the strapping young lad Nigel who politely helped me check in that deserves a bit of praise. Jeep up the good work Nigel.
Isaac was very friendly and helpful! Helped us got exactly what we wanted. The price of phillips 2437QDAW was very competitive as well!
Overall a decent store, I come here every 2 months to buy upgrades for my pc. Have no problems. But I do find the return policy a bit strange.
10/10 service. Had an issue with my PC and the Tech was super helpful and kept me updated throughout the entire process.
The staff was amazing. He helped me even after the trading hours. Would definitely go there again!
Can not thank Harris enough. Had a lot of issues whilst trying to build a pc, was recommended so many parts from other employees, none of which fulfilled my requirements. Harris took the time to find me the best options for the best prices. He even took the time to help me put together some of the parts as I did not know how to. Would highly recommend seeing him.
Fraudulent store being run by cheats and liars. Do not buy from these lazy guys. Selling faulty products overpriced. Bought a $200 keyboard from this store and it broke within 6 months. These lazy guys take 4- 8 weeks to check the product during warranty period, and makes stupid excuse for pandemic. Also, they charge $45 if they could not find anything faulty which is quite bizarre.
Wouldn’t accept return of a keyboard I had bought the day prior as the box was open. Wanted to swap it for different keyboard. Recommend shopping elsewhere if unsure of the product.
