Castello's Cardinia Hotel

Meals were great, staff was friendly and coffee amazing. Would like a bit more variety and maybe a few salads but otherwise great. My kids aged 6,4 and 2 loved the playground.

Terrible Bar Service, lack of communication on times for drinks - waiting nearly 30mins.

Food is nice and Fresh, Pork Belly has no Flavour.

Food was spot on.the little angry lady behind the counter was rude from the get go turned tvs and sports bet machines off at 7: 00 because she was winding up the night at 7: 00 while I was mid bet.went to the toilet she took my glass while it still had beer in it with other people at the table very disheartened by her poor hospitality services snappy rude and unprofessional staff

Highlight is Friday night at sports bar. Awesome bar staff (lisa) remembers everyone and really does a great job making everyone feel welcome. Food comes quickly and is really good.

My wife both had fish and chips with salad. The best part of the meal was the salad as the fish both fryed and grilled was dry in both cases and uneatable. We have eaten there before but this meal was so bad we may have to look for a new venue to eat.

Food was terrible. Ordered the chicken scaloppinie and could not eat it. It was like eating wall paper paste so think. Spoke to waiter and all he could say was interesting. Very disappointing as this was our first time hear and will be the last.

Have been going to Pakenham Costellos on & off for 4yrs, it used to be excellent, but has slowly gone downhill.
Tonight with 11 other family members will be our last!
The food is not the best, & staff have little to no training in dealing with people!

This is a local bistro, with staff that actually have a personality. Probably the tastiest food I have ever had in Pakenham. Absolutely amazing.

Delicious food, very friendly staff, even the kids enjoy going for the playground and to talk to the staff

I ordered bruschetta today that has rock hard. It had a slice of tomatoes, no onion, and it was smeared with a cream cheese! Seriously never wasting my money there again!

Stank of ceptic, made a polite comment, was told not my problem by the yong fella food was cold in the middle, unfortunately I don't recommend

Ok pub fare but bar staff is quite unfriendly others are the opposite. Nice and clean premises. A bit more expensive than similar venues.

Travelled 3/4 of an hour out of our way to meet up with friends for Friday Lunch. Website said open for lunch. Guess what - they don't open for lunch on Fridays. Fix your website so you don't inconvenience too many more people.

If there is less than 1 star I would actually give it, customer service is one of the worst I have ever seen, table cleanliness is is something they never heard about, also demanding masks inside the venue which is their own rule, not just to enter no they demand you to wear if you are inside whenever you’re not setting on the table including kids

Absolutely will never go there again. Been there on numerous occasions and been fantastic. Don't know what's happened. Over priced and smaller meals and tasteless. As for the brushetta 3 measley pieces with a sprinkle of tomato and onion. Definitely not worth it!

Lovely updated venue.sadly the two meals left a lot to be desired. I had the fish.very bland and the risotto was same.

A large modern dining room but a big mistake was made by serving three undercooked chicken meals. The other meals were OK.

Awesome staff here, the meals were really well priced and tasted great! Give their Angus a try, you will not be disappointed! Grab a beverage while you're at it

Firstly they need to distinguish between the three different venues a bit better. The waitresses did just not want to be there they made the experience uncomfortable with the sighs, looks and service. However the older staff were much more friendly and approachable. Their attitude towards work and everyone was exactly how you'd want it to be when your entire family is there trying to have a nice dinner.

Rude Arrogant old bag in front bar refused to serve me because a door unbeknown to hadn't shut behind me when I explained that I was heading back out there when I got my drink told me I wouldn't be served until I shut the door then proceed to give me grief for standing up for myself was warned about this place WILL NEVER EVER WASTE MY TIME GOING BACK THERE YET TO MEET SOMEONE WITH A GOOD REVIEW
