Castello's Cardinia Hotel reviews
71 Everyone had plenty to eat, which was very tasty, staff couldn't do enough to make a wonderful day for all.
Father Christmas turned up and the children love it, also the playground was a big hit.
We celebrated christmas day here with our family for lunch, it was just awesome! The food was beautiful and well worth the money, the staff were fantastic!
The food was great and came out very fast!
Good quality pub grub and great service from the staff. Would definitely return for another meal!
When you order steak and vegetables you would expect to get mash potato? But not this place And surcharge is just ridiculous.never go back again.
Opening times for front bar say 10 am. Walk around and almost had me head ripped off by front bar staff like it was the end of the world.carried on opening time was 11 am. Where’s the atmosphere it’s GF day. Put a smile on ya face. Never coming back to this hole.
Food was surprisingly good. Great prices and service in Bistro was excellent. Pub bar staff a little sourfaced otherwise good place to eat.
Excellent food and service. Perfect for the family. There is plenty to do for the children, playgrounds, games, coloring, and balloon artists, creating fun for all
Staff were great. I ordered the Brushetta entree to start with and asked if they would mind substituting goat’s cheese for feta. The chef was accomodating. It was delicious. I then had the seniors barramundi chips and salad. Chips a little over done but the perfect size plate when ordering entree!
Lady bartenders were great!
Everything was very good except for sweets.apple crumble was just a small hard tart base with big chunks of freezing cold apple, no crumble.
Great place for a meal. Large and airy. Service was really good, left feeling quite full. Deserts a dream.
This place is fantastic! Food is also fantastic! The staff are friendly and check up on you to ask how the food is. Great place to take your family with children as there is a playground and great for a couples dinner.
We had a large family function at Costello’s on the 23rd of October and everything was perfect, all of the children really enjoyed the play room and the balloon artist the meals were beautiful and the staff were great especially Simone, Christy and Minol
Expensive beer. Ridiculous to be honest $14 for a pint couldn’t believe what I heard. I mean come on seriously. Your not a high end bar in the city. I’m sorry not eager to return.
Friendly, Efficient Staff who do an excellent job, but please note management, if you understaff your venue then not only do your Customers suffer, so do your Staff and your reputation, which I know I should not have to state to a Costello's venue, but it was clearly understaffed when I visited. The 5 stars are for the Staff on the day.
4 for the Venue, 3.5 for Management as I know they do better
Food was delicious but the staff were incredibly rude. Grunting and rolling their eyes after I asked, for the 6th time, where the milk (that I paid extra for) for my coffee order was.
After an hour I gave up and left, wasting the coffee because it was undrinkable and cold
Had the roast pork tonight and it was ordinary to say the least. No flavour and couldn't eat it all due to lack of flavour.
Good people, good service but food was poor. Verry dry chicken in the scallopini, steaks are flavourless and mushroom gravy was like water.
Staff was great and very attentive and friendly, my only gripe is that whilst there was a great variety of food it was all unfortunately super average.
The play area is nice and clean, and has activities for all ages. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food isn't fantastic, but hey, it's pub food; you can't expect much more than that! Pro tip though: don't get the brownie - it's more like a pudding/chocolate cake, and the menu will say it's accompanied by "strawberries" but mine was served with a single half haha. The serving sizes are pretty generous though, so I probably didn't need to order dessert in the first place
