Food is okay. Prices are high for what you get.

Decent spot for a drink.

When other places are too busy, Casa is a decent option.

The chefs choice was amazing (very generous!), delicious cocktails and great outdoor seating! The staff have exceptional service

I wanted to say a big thank you to the team and Rhiannon the event coordinator at Casa! They have been absolutely excellent in postponing my 30th birthday due to lockdown and giving me heaps of flexibility for new dates! Thank you for making your service so easy and efficient. I’ve also been to casa many times for their food and absolutely love it!

Can’t wait to have my birthday here whenever I can!?

Lovely Sunday lunch had the pulled pork toastie highly recommend and the nachos which were a very generous size and loaded with toppings. Great service and great food will be definitely going back for another meal.

My partner and I went to Mornington to have a nice breakfast together, saw this place walked in and was greeted rather fast and seated. The menu looked really nice with lots to choose from. The food was really nice, the poached eggs were perfect. However only downside the coffee was just a tad cool and small. By the time I got a chance to drink it, it was cold. Other than that really enjoyed the staff which for a tough time was in a good mood and friendly. Thank you for making the first breakfast date enjoyable. Will define going back again.

I had to leave a review for the lovely Mitch that served us. His customer service & hospitality was so incredibly warm. He was so attentive & friendly and really made an effort to make us feel special. I’ve been coming to casa for years and have never experienced service quite like Mitch’s. He made our night:)

Friendly service and delicious tapas style food, perfect for sharing with good friends. Highly recommend!

Obviously very popular and for a good reason. The food and drinks were well presented and really tasty. The staff were happy and helpful. Lastly the prices were reasonable for the area. I'd recommend eating here if you're in the area.

Unfortunately NO air-conditioning or fans, it must have been 40deg at the function.

Casa De Playa will always be my favorite restaurant!

Mornington is indeed lucky to have Casa De Playa! It is I think one of the best restaurants in Mornington Peninsula without a doubt! Their wonderful staff, beautiful ambiance, and insanely delicious food make Casa De Playa the best of the best. I highly recommend Casa De Playa if you are in for some authentic Spanish dishes complete with a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a nightcap.

Rude, discourteous staff. Not quite sure who they think they are - just a reminder (in case you need it after 2020) that we the customers are the ones paying your wages.
The meal was just average. There are so many more places to spend your money (and your time) than this venue which doesn’t understand that being hospitable is part of the hospitality industry.
Go elsewhere - there are so many more places who treat their customers with manners and common courtesy which doesn’t cost anything - such a shame we had to pay anything to these ignoramorasis.

Never actually got to eat here, but got a full taste of the abysmal customer service.
Turned up hoping to be seated, admittedly without a booking, and they asked us to wait for ~15min. Happy to accommodate.

We were then seated and told we have to be gone within an hour. After querying what happens if we're halfway through our meal, the waitress responded with "if we have any other available tables, we'll move you".

After asking twice for the table to be wiped down and once again reminded that we only have an hour, we decided this place was not right for us. It was at this point the wait staff got snarky and responded with "you could have made a booking".

Don't treat people as if they don't matter because they don't have a booking.

Food was lovely and so were the cocktails (the Berry Drop is delicious!). I would definitely come here again.

Didn’t have great experience. I ordered Tacos Chicken. Chicken was super dry. I came here before a week ago and it was really juicy and fresh. They are missing consistency. 2 stars for first experience.

Do not order the ‘dos dips’ meal. The meal came out with ~6 pieces of charred bread and a tiny serving of philli cheese and “pickled beetroot”. This “pickled beetroot” was bland, BOILED beetroot with no taste or texture. I highly recommend not ordering this meal from the menu. Will not order again. However the calamari was AMAZING!

Lovely venue- but that’s about as good as it gets! Expensive for the of quality food served. 2 ‘tacos’ for $18- which were basically pre cooked and reheated upon ordering. Cocktails were average yet the price tag wouldn’t make you think that. Staff had no idea of when to take orders, clear tables, ask for more drinks etc. Then to top it off, we were overcharged & no staff member tried to rectify the issues by coming after us, until we had all checked our bank balances & returned on our own accord to sort it out. Many other places to eat along the Mornington strip, don’t waste your time here.

Service was good, but the food was overcooked and dried out. Nice place with good atmosphere. Prices were reasonable, just be aware that there is a 15% surcharge on Sundays.

It was ok. I found the food choices very limited and had to wait in line for a long time just to pay my bill. Wouldn't deter anyone from going but I won't be rushing back anytime soon

We thoroughly enjoyed this place. The staff are very welcoming, the sangria is tasty, the presentation is top notch and the taste is on point. It could turn into a regular haunt for us.
