Staff were very helpful and assisted us in finding the right carpet. The came out to my home and were on time and got the quote done on the spot. Delivery is this week so very efficient in carpet section.

I can’t speak highly enough of the service I received at Carpet Call Mentone. I needed carpet installed at very short notice and Ben, the manager made it happen. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He went above and beyond trying to organise it for me. Colin, who installed my carpet was punctual, quick and professional. He did a great job and I’m extremely happy with the end result and the service I received throughout.

Went in for a large piece of carpet to use as a rug. Ben provided a great service from selection to purchase to helping coordinate an over locker supplier. Looks great & thank u Ben and Monir the over locker.

John from Carpet Call- Mentone was extremely helpful with my carpet selections. He was very knowledgeable about his carpet range and colour co-ordinations. I would go back there again for all my carpet and flooring needs.

We cannot speak highly enough of the service from Vinny at Mentone. We absolutely love our floorboards and Jarrad the installer was incredibly prompt, professional, and finished in under two days. We are now choosing carpets for our 3 bedrooms with Vinny’s help once again. Great selection and amazing service. Thanks guys we couldn’t be happier with our choices and your help.

We talked to others who offer the same products but will not use them whilst these guys are in business!

Don’t waste your time and shop here. We walked in, asked politely to see the carpet that is pet and children friendly. When we mentioned we would like to get an idea of prices the salesman said aggressively and mockingly they can’t give out quotes “willy nilly”, not even a price for carpet only. So with no prices on anything and nobody prepared to give you an indication as to what could possibly be a cost, coupled with an arrogant and rude sales person, there’s no where to go but out the front door. Go to the other carpet shop across the road, we were able to get prices straight away for our carpet and floorboards and were greeted with warmth and care.

Dealt with Ben, he was patient, not pushy and gave us quick excellent service, most importantly the best price, way cheaper than carpet court for the same carpet.

Immanuel was polite and excellent with his communication skills. His understanding of our needs and his persistence in going above and beyond to make a mutually acceptable outcome.
We love our new quality rug!

We have had a terrible experience getting our floors done by them.
The unprofessionalism is completely and utterly astounding. Customer service is non-existent, and it stems from the top down, Roger & Damien.

Absolutely loved the service from carpet call Mentone. Immanuel Is a star! Communication was excellent, and the installation of my rug was so professional, furniture placement was discussed and the furniture was moved for me & put back. Highly recommend.

New timber floor install started on time but was never finished, it has now been 2 months and our floor is still not ready.
Firstly they installed the wrong quads (colour not matching the floor). We were told they will be replaced, had booked and confirmed an installer three times since and they never showed up, not even a courtesy call to let us know.
I strongly suggest to anyone dealing with this company to withhold 10 or 20 percent of the price and only pay them the balance on completion of the job. Otherwise it will never be done. Will have to complete the job ourselves and I reckon we will even do a better job than some of the shonky contractors they use.

Update 26 July 2022:
VIC operations manager wrote to me saying their contractors tried to contact us several times and we were not answering our phones. That is just a lie and the tone in the email was aggressive and rude. Definitively not great customer service, these people should not be in business. Btw, we finished the floor ourselves as they did not make any effort whatsoever to finish it!

I recently needed to purchase some carpet for a renovation project. Upon arriving at the Mentone store, I was attended to by Ethan who was polite, helpful and very knowledgeable on carpet products. Ethan showed me the most suitable product lines and after my perusal, booked me in for a prompt on site measurement and colour test with my selected samples. John attended on site for the measurement & sample testing and was very personable and happy to answer product related queries. Testing carpet samples onsite against the wall colour and any cross-over onto other flooring is imperative. Carpet rarely looks exactly the same in situ as it does in the shop. I was most impressed by John’s economical management of carpet usage in his floor plans, thereby minimizing carpet waste and keeping costs down.

If, like me, this is your first purchase of carpet post-Covid, be warned, carpet laying appointments are now booked out for weeks in advance, so get in as early as you can. It may seem premature to be writing a review since my carpet has not been laid yet. However, I have made multiple purchases of floor coverings from Carpet Call stores over the last decade and the laying of the carpets & vinyl floor coverings has so far always been very good – so I hope that is the case this time. I consider that for most people, purchasing floor coverings is a somewhat stressful experience. Choosing appropriate floor coverings makes a big difference to the aesthetic and ambience of your home or investment property. Carpet, vinyl etc are also expensive enough that you want to get it right the first time. Dealing with helpful and knowledgeable sales people makes the task a bit less daunting and adds confidence to your decision making. I appreciate the top-notch customer service provided to me by Ethan and John.

Outstanding service that exceeded my expectations.
I recently had neck surgery and was afraid of falling over so I was requiring anti-slip, anti - fatigue mats to aid in my recovery. I own a commercial shop at which I live behind and the problem I face with other couriers is that they arrive and find the shop closed so they assume I'm not there and leave without attempting to ring me.
When I explained my problem to Immanuel from Mentone Carpet Call, he went above and beyond what was expected of him and he offered to personally deliver the mats to me today after he closed the store.
I am amazed that this kind of service still exists in this world.
I owned a business at Epworth Hospital for 25 years and we always tried to exceed customer expectation however I was really surprised this level of Service still exists. If you are reading this, please support this business, they deserve it and ask for Immanuel, he is truly outstanding.
