50Modern contemporary space set in parkland with the font of the building facing and opening directly onto the lake. Floor to ceiling windows running the length and sides of the building make good use of the panoramic views.the room can comfortably seat around 300 people with a dance floor. Plenty of staff who were conscientious and friendly. Only drawback is parking which is limited and EXPENSIVE! Maximum of 3 hour stay which is $16.20 during a weekday lunch! Had to pay twice for a 5 hour long function. Might be cheaper to group together and get a taxi, Uber etc.
The view is very beautiful, the food is delicious and especially the shakshouka, the service is good
25 min wait for a coffee.
Asked how long will food take before we ordered and the waitress response was 20 to 25 min.
Well waited 45 min wait for food!

No customer service at all!
Sunday’s are busy so add extra staff instead of having un happy customers as other tables were just as frustrated as us!

Such a delightful location right on the lake. The food was really delicious and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be going back soon.
One star for my daughter's got chips and bottled apple juice. One for friendly staff. Eggs Benny was terrible!
Visited this place recently. Their staff was very good. The only thing i had here was their hot mocha coffee which was very good. The place offers good view too.

Carousel is one of Melbournes finest reception centres located on Albert Park Lake a popular place for brides and grooms it boasts stunning locations for photos and beautiful water views its an 11/10 in all aspects
The venue might be stunning but the whole experience at a friends sons reception has been terrible. The staff was extremely rude served all wrong dishes to people with dietary requirements. Their head staff a guy with ponytail was so rude, when asked him about changing the nonveg dish as I had asked for vegetarian he just turned around and said swap it yourself with someone else!
The worst staff and the most uncooperative. Thought would put this up so people think ten times before dishing out large sums of money for this venue and get terrible service. Very disappointed
