Great authentic Mex food. Offers special deals through the week on meals and margaritas. Well priced and well sized portions.

I found this place through a recommendation from a mate, the food is absolutely sensational, the service is great, I’ve been back a few times now and the waiter even remembers what I drink which is amazing. The Margarita options are great. I travel from Frankston to visit this place so that says a enough. The quality of the food, the service and staff are what brings me back…. Don’t change a thing you guys are doing it right:)

We were rushed out, food took forever and we barely got anytime to eat before we were forced out.from memory in at 6. Ordered at 6: 20. Food came at 7: 10 and we were asked to leave at 7: 30.

Everytime we go to Carlos Cantina the food just seems to get better. Booking via the website was easy. We were seated quickly when we arrived and drinks were on the table in no time. It was quite busy but we didn't wait long for our meals to come out. All staff were very friendly even though they clearly had a lot going on. Hard to find anything Carlos Cantina could improve on.

Really enjoyed our experience! The quality of the food and service were fantastic, even though the restaurant was nearly full as soon as it opened (we had a 5.30pm booking) we were severed promptly and the food looked great and tasted great. I live in Patterson Lakes and my partner Endeavour Hills. I'd been to Carlos Cantina years ago and after reading terrible reviews about closer Mexican restaurants we decided to travel the extra distance to go there and we weren't disappointed. Good food with fair service. Decor leaves a lot to desire but generally since Boronia is not upmarket, maybe owners care less.

First time here, looked dead from the outside i expected we would be the only ones there at 6pm on a thursday. Walked in and the place was packed and full of ambience. The sizzling fajitas were a 5/5. The nachos a 4/5 were delicious but not enough salsa. Drinks were great, a bit on the pricey side but Overall 4/5 and highly recommend.

Sadly they have changed their 50% off days to only Monday and Tuesday now, no more 50% off on Wednesdays.
The food is great however! Little bit on the pricey side if you don't go on Monday or Tuesday

Been dining here for years and is always so delicious. Dine in rather than take away for the full experience, fresh food, generous portions and great service.

Good food and good service! I like that they gave us options of either ordering using our mobile phone or with the wait staff, we chose to use our phone since the menu was online, so convenient! We all enjoyed our dishes and the servings were a good size, had to share mine with my son. Due to COVID-19 regulations, we had to submit our details and I like that we could easily do it on our phones with the QR code provided, more confidential than writing it on a piece of paper that will be passed around to other customers.

We LOVE this place! Awesome staff, yummy food and takeaway margaritas! We come here every week and even during lockdown we always get fast, happy service:)

Got takeaway on a, Saturday night. Prices a bit extreme to what you actually get. Food tasted good but not for the prices. Travelled 15 mins one way to get the food as reviews were positive. Not value for money for a family of 4.

The most disgusting food ive ever had delivered to my door. Nearly $70 of food that no one in the family will touch. And only 1 of 3 parts of the main meal arrived. Very disappointing experience

Average food, about the same you'd find at other half-price weekday Mexican restaurants. Underwhelmed after reading so many 5 star reviews. Price was appropriate (at 50% off the mains), but would be upset at paying the full cost on a weekend.

A great local Mexican restaurant, with a wonderful range of dishes on the menu. They also have a complete gluten free menu to choose from. The drinks are name, varied and great value as well. This is a great place to go have a meal with a few friends or even a big group or just yourself!

Probably the best Mexican food in the whole eastern side of Melbourne. Fun atmosphere and great drinks menu to complement the theme and food.
