Captain Gummy's fish and chips Boronia (gluten free)

Used Uber eats driver waited about an hour for food to the point that we had to call the restaurant they said it’s been under lights and that it was the drivers fault (which it wasn’t) they were busy by the time it got here a 6 minute drive It was stone cold I wanted hot fish and chips not oily paper from sitting under lights and cold fish

Ordered minimum chips and I sent my daughter in to pay and collect the order, we were over charged. $5 for $4.5 chips doesn’t sounds like much but money is still money, and to top it off the chips were over done and we’re nothing but crunchy casing. Not happy

Uber stuffed up the delivery.so they made completely fresh meal.the new meal was absolutely delicious.one of the best Souvalakis

Waited for over 40 minutes. Half meal ready and waiting for 10mintues whilst still waiting on fish to be cooked. Absolutely crazy. Never will I go again. Got my money back after asking 5 times.

This place has gone down hill. Fish always taste a little too fishy and have been sick the last two times after eating here. The batter is too thick on gf items and always leave out an item of the order. Completely separate fryer though for gf which is good. Its cash only so be prepared:)

Absolutely delicious. Got everything we ordered plus more. Ordered 2 potato cakes - got 4. Ordered 2 dimmies - got 4. Ordered minimum chips - got enough to sink a battleship.
Doesn’t get more Aussie than that.

Second week in a row we have got our order delivered the food has been cold and we have been missing either hamburgers or souvlakis. Wehn l called tonight no sorry just we will send out with a driver now. Took over half an hour for it to arrive. Long time customer but after the last two we won't be back.

This shop unfortunately has completely gone down hill. We used to get dinner from here every Friday, but since it got taken over, wrong orders, over cooked or under cooked EVERYTIME.when I rang to let them know, no apology just simply can we come back down and they’ll rectify it, and they still got it wrong. Six times.no more captain gummy for us.

Really good raw materials and high turnover mean everything fresh, more importantly they manage their cooking oil very well. The goodies are not overly greasy either. Probably best in the Eastern Suburbs I've been to.

First time I went, I'm sorry to say this but the calamari pack I just had was terrible, a waste of money. Calamari are huge but it is because there is so much batter, all you can taste is fried batter. Chips are plastic, no flavour, they taste almost fake. Now I need another meal) -:

Very unprofessional staff specially the Chinese guy. Don't know how treat uber delivery riders. Very disappointed

Reply to your comment- I'm not talking about the food I'm talking about the services of yours. Yes, I'm just a uber eats driver, and you are just a shop owner who doesn't know how to talk to people. I already put a bad review because thats what I experienced and its not faked. Before I come to your shop I already accept those two orders, its your responsibility to make the two orders on time. Why should I cancel my orders because of your lateness. Not only your shop I'm doing uber for most other shops and they treated the uber eats delivery guy as their customer, not like you.

Usually really good but bought chips and gravy there today. They really need to learn how to make gravy. It was disgusting! Didn't even use the gravy, it was the consistancy of water, yuck!

Crispy and well seasoned chips and a generous amount of tender gyros lamb inside the souvlaki's. You get your money's worth at this affordable restaurant.

The standard souvlaki was delicious, but enormous! Couldn't finish it.
