My local fish and chips
Open at 10 am when I've cravings for some flakes and potato cakes

No acknowledgement as I walked in, so not a great first impression. Not very friendly when taking the order and cash only which is very surprising these days. Staff looked totally disinterested in what they were doing. Got home with our order of fish'n'chip family pack.fish was ordinary, Chips looked undercooked and potato cakes were super oily and undercooked. Absolutely terrible. First time and last time customer.

Very good item yummy fun deal enjoyed everything ordered. Items were fast and hot very delicious food great deal for the food. Very happy overall they are nice

Local fish and chips shop in Boronia can be busy so it pays to ring and order ahead of time, only accepts cash as payment though.

Very bad service! All the employees are rude and unfriendly.don't want to serve customers when they come.very disappointing.

Walked in and was straight away asked what do we want. Cleanliness was zilch. Came home with food and was so disappointed Care factor was zero, no friendly service whatsoever. From what I can see from other customers the food and service has dropped to below zero

We just had possibly the worst fish and chips we have ever had. Chicken croquettes were burnt, chips were poorly cooked and so was everything else. This place used to be awesome but it looks like the care for the food has dropped significantly.

2023 and they still "don't have" eftpos. Cash only. ATM with exorbitant withdrawal fees in the store though.

Good quality fisho, always busy, which is a testament to the consistent quality. Truly amazed they don't have eftpos though, SO INCONVENIENT!

First time ordering from here & could not even get a simple fish & chips order. Got delivered just the chips, they were semi warm, delicious but when I called them, the manager couldn't even get my order right & referred me to staff who were much more pleasant.
I would highly recommend you don't order fish, mine was smelly & slimey & a poor excuse for a grilled fish. Wasted $20 on this. Never again.

Absolutely disgusting, wish I took a picture before I threw out the burgers, chips and potato cakes. The staff wear dirty aprons, the deep fryer area looks disgusting. I should have seen this before I paid. Surprised the Council haven’t been in to inspect. This used to be a clean place serving nice fish and chips, but not anymore. Will never go back again. Wasted our money.

Nice food nice atmosphere they are open every day except Monday till 21 and also open till 9 p.m. On public holidays

How can they have a cash only business. They should be reported. Money is the one item that carries more germs than anything else. With covid 19 still killing thousands this is one place that would be a super spreader. The food was not amazing for the price. Maby other fish and chip places in the area that take card and have better food. Only reason we tried this place was because other places were closed on that day.

So much wrong here. Food. Absolutely terrible, what the heck are you serving? I literally could not eat my food. Shocking. My chips must have come with a litre of oil in them.they were translucent.and my calamari was like eating deep fried snot. Not good.
Service was slow, employees were uninterested, and for some reason the joint only accepts cash. Hey ATO mind popping in to say hi?
If you dislike someone, offer them some captain gummys in boronia.

Ordered potato cakes & calamari.threw most of it in the bin! Potato cakes were soggy and very oily, calamari tasted like the plastic!

Chips over priced, more expensive than any other fish and chips shop in the area, they were cold and soggy. Will never buy from here again

Second time I have ordered steamed Dim Sims as a snack. First time I threw them back on the counter after tasting them, they were probably from the day before.
Today I risked buying them again. Didn't open bag until I got back in the car. Old again. I actually can tell a fresh steamed Dim Sim, they are whitish not brown.
Last time buying them!

Captain gummys has really gone down hill. Food is definitely not fresh. Their seafood salad is always frozen

Parking was okay, can be difficult sometimes, food is fantastic but it can be very busy at times. Had to wait a while.

First time customer. HSP pack was good. Minimum chips $5 and was very small portion than what I'm used too. It's cash only but they have put in an ATM at a fee of $2.50.
