Candied Bakery reviews
66Have been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Wonderfully consistent with a great selection.
This place is making me poor. The line is long but it moves fast, my only complaint is your rushed through before you can properly take time to pick something, which has made me pick a couple things I didn't really enjoy. They do creamy/custard desserts really well. A Layered cake wasn't my fave, I had one pie that I didn't like too much, however the banoffee pie was incredible. I'll probably try everything then stick to my faves
Lovely popular bakery close to Spotswood station. Their pistachio custard filled croissants are simply delectable! They also serve some lovely toasties and good strong coffee!
Well this place is something else. I have never eaten better goods from a bakery that spead across both sweet & savoury. They have it sussed at this place. It's by no means the cheapest but once you taste it you'll appreciate it's a more than reasonable price considering the pallet pleasure you get from the taste of their food. I particularly like the beef pies and vanilla slice doughnut. Hands down the new #1 in Australia in my book anyways
It's usually busy and that's a good sign. High quality baked goods and everything I've tried, whether it be a pie, an egg and bacon roll, a slice of pizza, a piece of cake, a doughnut, it's always delicious.
Been going religiously every weekend for the last few weeks to bring a bit of joy to our lockdowns and everything we have had has been fantastic, I have to say the Tres Leches cake is on another level - Make sure you grab a slice, it is seriously good! Thanks for the always great food and consistently brilliant service
My fav is the apple crumb pie! Their pizza is good too. A friend recommended this and came here three times already!
Great cafe. Philly Steak Cheese is a must try! Great service - served by a very energetic lady who wasn’t too tall today 22 Sept 2021 around lunch time
Amazeballs quality. Gr8 service. Great selection of baked savoury (bread, pies, rolls) and sweet. Gr8 cost for value compared to other over priced bakeries. I walk there at least once a week during Lockdown 6 as my weekly treat!
Really high quality sweets and savouries. I loved the olive and onion bread, almond croissant and pies. Will definitely recommend it.
An absolute favourite. The crazy long line is always worth the wait, and the staff are so kind and patient.
A very popular bakery on the westside, and deservedly so. They mix traditional baked goods with innovative, edgy flavours which satisfied my sweet tooth. Definitely worth the visit.
Went on Saturday afternoon. Bought 2 cakes. Just delish!
The New York cheesecake is so fluffy, surprisingly not dense or heavy at all. The pastel cake is another heavenly creation, pastry, dulce de leche and buttercream, phenomenal! Will definitely come back to try all the other savoury and sweet delights
My weekly go to, love the meat pies, focaccia, mushroom philly, and milo shake I've been going here regularly for a year since I moved
This bakery never disappoints. The quality is always fantastic and taste is amazing. Keep up the great work!
This place has been contributing to my weight gain for the past two years.the continental cake, the tres leches, the lemon tart, the banoffee pie.it's the kind of place you'd travel for if you weren't a local.
Yes agreed It’s over priced and overrated. Super Sanga sourdough loaf for $7.5 I’m expecting Artisan sourdough but it was just a very very light sourdough and taste like any other white bread, you can get much better sourdough loaf from IGA. I went on weekday late noon and there was no line. I think Not worth the wait.
Dear Orlando, thank you for your reply:) now that’s better and clear of what is Sanga. It was my first visit, I asked the staff what is Sanga she told me it’s sourdough maybe you should fine-tuned staff training…
Thanks
Absolutely delicious - I’ve tried near everything here and head my warning: you NEED to get the confit garlic and cheese sourdough loaf, it is off the charts! Their bread in general is 11/10 and their pastries are amazing. Personally recommend their cinnamon scrolls, almond croissants, Mississippi mud pie and jam donuts!
My favourite bakery in Melbourne. Everything here is fantastic, you can't go won't with any choices.
I go out of my way to get bread from here whenever I get the opportunity. The almond croissants are also divine.
