Candied Bakery, a cozy nook brimming with an array of pastries, breads, and rolls, is a true gem. Visiting on a bustling Saturday, a brief 5-minute queue was a small hurdle easily overcome for the treasure trove that awaited us.

The display of croissants and pastries beckoned with their irresistible allure. Succumbing to the temptation, we opted for the goat cheese with zucchini pastry, the eggplant chickpea with halloumi pastry, and the Danish strawberry pastry.

Each choice was a revelation in flavor. The goat cheese and zucchini pastry offered a delightful blend of savory goodness, while the eggplant chickpea with halloumi surprised with its rich, harmonious medley of tastes. To finish, the Danish strawberry pastry, a sweet indulgence that left a lingering, delightful tang.

Candied Bakery easily earns a hearty recommendation for fellow food enthusiasts. The quality and taste of their offerings make it a must-visit. As for me, I've already set my sights on a return trip to explore more of their tempting creations. It's a haven for those seeking exceptional pastries that tantalize the taste buds and leave you yearning for more.

Best bakery ever. Tres lèche cake is INSANE and I’ve gone back every week for the past three weeks to order the pork char siu sausage roll.

I love everything about this place. Their cinnamon rolls are insanely good, as well as the pretzel brownie and the pastel cake. The onion and garlic sourdough? ? It’s all amazing and while your wallet might regret a visit, your tastebuds never will!

Lucky to live near Candied! This is my fav bakery. Customer service is top notch even with a line out the door 3 shops down the street. Worth the 15 minute wait!

Outstanding bakery to satisfy any sweet or savoury cravings!

This is a very popular place and often has a long line to enter but it’s very much worth the wait.

They’ve got a range of pastries, cakes, croissants, pies, sausage rolls! Hard to pick just a few but we ordered the cream cheese, custard & almond pastry as well as the vanilla slice donut…and far out they were super delicious.

You can order custom cakes too!

Happy they are closed for the break but counting down the days until they're back; all the sweet stuff is amazing but my fave would be the pizza slices.

Yes everything is baked with love and care. A level higher in taste and quality than most bakeries in melbourne! Well done

Without a doubt, the best cinnamon scroll I’ve had.
The bread is also really nice, and unlike almost any other bakery, they know how to make a good coffee too.

I love this place. The 3 milk cake as well as the custard doughnuts are sensational. Prices are on the higher end, but absolutely worth it.

Pies really need some work, pastry is great, but contents of beef pie and curry pie was mostly cornstarch goop.not a lot of meat / too salty.for $9 they could definitely be better.salt≠flavour.
Pork sausage roll was a step up, but again a bit salty and not worth writing home about like all the acid tripping fanatical reviews might have suggested.
Will try the sweets/pastries next time.maybe just missed the good stuff

Finally got around to trying this place out after many, many recommendations and, despite the hype, it still managed to go beyond my expectations. I had the reuben roll/sandwich, which had a generous serving of corned beef, a delicious fresh sauerkraut (that had touch of bite in it), and just the right amount of dressing. After giving that some time to settle, I indulged on a piece of the honey cake which is easily the best honey cake I've had. Not too sweet, with a noticeable honey flavour and fantastic texture, I couldn't recommend it highly enough. I can't wait to go there again and try some of the other options.

Simply put, this is the best bakery in Melbourne. Love everything they do. From the milk cake, to the cookies to the vanilla slice donuts. Ridiculously good. The only way it could be better would for them not to be a 1 hour + drive for me to get there. Still 5 stars though. Love them!

Got the tres leches cake and also the key lime pie. We liked the key lime pie more than the tres leches cake but also heard amazing things about the candied pie.

Delicious, fresh assortment of savoury and sweet. Amazing staff and service. Highly recommend!

Amazing variety, everything looked really good. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteaks, maccadamia mille-feuille and Nutella Croissant.

All 3 items were so good (10/10)

We also ordered coffees and the coffees (Mocha, Cappuccino) were avg, a bit to milky for our liking.

Weekend favourite, have some amazing pies, pastries, bread and great coffee! Also plenty of Victorian, local milk stocked and spreads for the pantry. Cinnamon Bun is definitely a must try, along with their Cheese/Custard /Almond pastry which I think is a weekend only special. A few benches out the front of you need to eat your goods before you get home.
Warning: go in with a budget else you'll walk out with much more purchased than anticipated!

The infamous macadamia mille-feuille is crispy, creamy, nutty, with hint of caramel sprinkles on top, perfect with a cup of tea. Front staff are friendly, I’m happy

Most of the time we go to the city to have some best croissants and coffee.
But this place have some amazing croissants and especially the Almond one is always the hero️. Breads are amazing too. Can’t wait to see you guys again on coming weekend.
