Cafe Segovia reviews
56Coffee was good however I had takeaway upon asking I come to know u guys dont keep takeaway cutlery which is sad, even the quality of calamari salad was good but costing 20 bucks doesnt match the quantity of product very little quantity.
This is my fav cafe in Melbourne.
All staffs are so friendly and kind.
But most of all, the taste of coffee was always so perfect!
There’s a barista who is really good at making coffees. I’m gonna visit again to have her coffee on every weekend!
Came across Segovia walking through the 'arcade' & we wanted a meal not coffee which is what most places are offering. Inside & outside seating in the passageway
Menu plus blackboard specials, Parma Chicken with salad & chips $22.
Everywhere seems to close very early don't except to eat after 4.30pm.
These risottos were absolutely delicious. I consider myself a little picky with a dish like this, having lived with an older Italian chef. I was blown away by how much I enjoyed my meal. My friend and I shared and were delighted with the flavours and textures. I’m from Montreal and would come again if I’m ever back in this beautiful city.
Staff were friendly and helpful, the kitchen however needs a flush of staff. I ordered a streak which only had one sauce available. Butter and Garlic "Sauce". It was literally Garlic and Butter. Tasted like S**T
Hard to believe the chef couldn't make a Mushroom Sauce to go with the steak
The atmosphere was nice but they served seafood that had gone bad, and when I tried to send it back, it took the waiter a little while to understand what the issue was due to a language barrier. They then took a long time to serve me my replacement meal, so my friends had been finished for a while by the time my dish had arrived.
Great bacon & Creamy Pasta. Good in taste and Aroma although a little Oily. This great atmosphere
Great hot chocolate and breakfast I had the 12 hour pulled pork. Hubby had the big breakfast. He loved the coffee
Love this place. It's a must in Melbourne. Super affordable and reasonable dinner prices in the city. They have a diverse menu and amazing customer service. Often have specials for dinner with generous portions.
Very fun music and not too busy even on Friday and Saturday evenings. They also have comfortable booth seats which is a major bonus.
This breakfast was now my all time best breakfast ever. WOW the taste and flavour just went on and on YUM. Zucchini fritters as a base, smashed avo and peas on top with poached eggs, halloumi on the side and have no idea what was in the pink sauce but it pulled it all together into a taste sensation
Visited early one morning for breakfast, service was great and food was delicious and reasonably priced. Can't wait to visit again on my next work trip!
Caramel latte was to die for. Perfect temperature and taste. Did not need to add any sugar and was not too sweet. Perfect
Segovia is my regular go-to cafe in the CBD. The tea is very good, the staff are always lovely and the selection of cakes is great. They have comfy seats (and booths) with none of the milk crate/stool rubbish that so many cafes go for. Segovia is a great place to sit a while while with friends or a book.
Lovely little spot! Very friendly staff. I had the cocoa nut smoothie and the caramel bar. They were both delicious and the right amount to fill a hungry puku. I was served some water with mint leaves in the jar.
Mediocre. Very weak tea when strong was ordered. Cold stale croissant. Was replaced with a good one. Wife had tummy upset after eating the baked eggs
I walked in without knowing the place. Next to my table was sitting a guy eating ragu' penne. They looked yummy and I ordered the same. They were amizing. Pasta was cooked well and the pork ragù was great. I am italian (original Italian) from South (not from North) so I believe the 5 stars rating is honest!
