One of the coziest place for Brunch/Lunch here in Melbourne CBD.

The vibe and ambiance feels like you’re in a small cafe in Europe. Being located in an alley makes it more cozy.

The food is amazing too! I ordered their Salmon en Papillote for Aud32 and it did not disappoint.

Large cappuccino was nice and delivered to my table quickly. My eggs bénédict was just so so. Looked very unappealing but tasted ok. My biggest gripe is with the way I witnessed a waiter deal with an elderly client whose order his colleague got wrong. He actually got angry with her and raised his voice. She was sitting at the table next to me and I had to intervene. He still didn't apologise or recognise that his behaviour to a woman - whom I later discovered was 88 years old, very with it and lovely - was unacceptable, indeed deplorable. They did eventually rectify her order and even gave her that portion for free but that wasn't the issue for me, although I do think that was a nice gesture by the owner /manager.

Good cafe. Very cute and cozy atmosphere. Can’t say the food was anything exceptional. I have no complaints though, I still enjoyed my breakfast but believe there is better out there.
Service here was polite and made the experience enjoyable.

This cafe has a nice atmosphere. The flat white is delicious. Staff are friendly. It's a good place to have breakfast.

I had the seafood paella, I am not fan, but I thought I would give it a try. It was well cooked, I thought it need more flavour. My wife had the Pea Smash, this was really nice, a great breakfast choice. No photo, it was presented very nicely. I will go back. Service and atmosphere was great.

In Block Place, you will find many coffee shops, it's was my first time visiting Segovia coffee, food is really good, we get the special breakfast from that day, maybe you will find some variation on that. The fresh orange juice it was amazing, the coffee yummy, and the service just wonderful. Very warm and kind persons.

Good cafe for breakfast. Like everywhere these days, the service can be a bit patchy, but well meaning. I’ll come back.

Lovely food although the salad dressing is a little too sharp for my taste. Service can easily be improved. There is a fine line between relaxed and forgotten and we were the wrong side of that line, needing to get wait staff to come to us to take the order. The 15 minute gap between our two dishes arriving was unforgivable, (again, we had to chase to find out what had happened to the second one].

Great wee place just off the Royal Arcade. Friendly and cozy and a little Spanish in a good way. I had the best scrambled eggs (with prawns & chilli) and a great coffee. Maybe a little pricey but I was still really pleased with the overall experience and meal.

It used to be one of my favorite cafes in Melbourne but when it gets busy they drop the ball. The juice was ordered without ice and arrived with ice. The eggs Benedict was ordered with spinach and arrived without spinach. And then the prices are ridiculous. $5.20 for a tiny size of a side. No one waiter is assigned to a table. You get 3-4 different people asking if you’ve been served and then things get mixed up.

Most of the food was fine, but their chilli mussels was missing the chilli. Unfortunately, we were very unhappy with the service. The waitor told us incorrect information which didn't give us enough food. And then, we were charged extra which was an amount we didn't account for. He clearly didn't know the menu.

We went here for lunch me and my wife had amazing time here. Mussels main was amazing also chorizo and prawn pasta is fabulous. For sure we will be back soon to try other food highly recommend place to have wonderful time. Cheers

A nice quaint café down a classic laneway that one would normally walk past, or even miss this little gem, with the sea of cafés in Melbourne in general, but this one I wouldn't consider a miss.

With immaculate staff that were friendly, and conversational, it presents an enjoyable experience before even starting the order

I learnt they recently went through a menu change while there, with what I had seen, the menu provided delightful meals at a price that isn't present at other establishments, while having a lot of homemade options in the selection, it is also pleasant to know how freshly made everything is.

Personally I can't say much about the coffees, but for the cocktail options, it is quite a surprising amount, that doesn't sacrifice quality for the sake of convenience, I also had an Iced mocha to end my time there, and it was the perfect way to end an already exquisite night, I will definitely be coming back here as often as I am in the city.

Eclectic pieces about, service was friendly, breakfast was good, coffee was, well is there such a thing as ordinary coffee in Melbourne? Coffee here at cafe segovia held its own.

Absolutely humble and beautiful staff, wonderful food, and extremely welcoming environment. After I had a poor experience at another cafe earlier that day it was such a beautiful feeling to be treated like a human rather than a walking wallet. I highly recommend this place

Prompt service given the short staff-ing issue's they're facing.
Coffee was PERFECT.
Atmosphere was good.
Food was good (though not as described on menu).
Prices were standard.
