Had a few things fixed by them and never had an issue. The most recent time they forgot to put the hard drive back into the laptop. Maybe a new technician or something.

A bit disappointing: I am going to have to bring back my laptop for the third time after spending 500 aus for a screen replacement and there still is an issue with the display. I can understand that some things need time to fix but what I don't understand is to be told it works when I pick it up and see the issue as soon as I switch it on at home.

They replaced the Display and battery of my MacBook Air due to a water damage but when I got it back the System still complained that something is wrong with the battery. The worst part of it was that the battery capacity dropped from 10hours to 3-4 hours, even they „replaced“ or repaired it twice. I wasn’t able to bring it back again as I had to take my flight to New Zealand. Lets put that in summary, paid to much and ended up with several system issues and a ruined battery. People stay away, it’s a fraud!

C1 computer charged me $88 just to have a look inside of my water damaged MBA, then quoted me $850 to get it repaired, and told me that parts that are not damaged needs changing such as power circuit and keyboard.
I got my MBA fixed elsewhere for 480 and it was only a matter of getting a new logic board.
I hope this man does fair and honest work in the future

Amazing service! I shopped around a lot to get my laptop fixed and C1 Computer is definitely the best price. I highly recommend them.

I had a Dell which worked perfectly but the battery was dying.
Took the laptop to this shop to change the battery.
When I took the laptop back, it was not working at all. The HDD and RAM were broken.
I opened the laptop and found a LiteOn branded HDD in it.
I looked on the Dell website and my configuration said it had a Hynix HDD in it.
Went back to the business and showed them the Dell website.
They went into the back room and found my Hynix HDD.
The entire experience was awful. If I didn't have proof of the configuration from Dell, I would have ended up without my HDD & with a non-working laptop.
Highly recommend to stay away.

Nearly two months since I dropped my laptop off for repair and I cannot reach them via phone or email. I can only assume they have closed during stage 4 lockdown as the website says temporarily closed. Still I would have preferred the peace of mind of an official email from them. Until I hear from them and get my laptop back it sort of feels like I’ve been scammed.

EDIT: I have since gotten my laptop back and it is working again, I received a receipt with a warranty attatched to it and everything seems legit.
Just unfortunate about initial lack of communication

Avoid!
I had the video card replaced in my iMac by C1 - The video card failed again 3 years later. When I opened the computer to take out the HDD I discovered there were a number of screws missing on critical components including the graphics card heat sink and the screen. Also discovered my RAM had been replaced lower-quality parts.

Cannot recommend going here to fix your laptop. Went into this location because my screen was not working and was told to pay $80 which could be used towards repair cost and I would hear back within 24 hours.
Next day I was quoted $790 to replace the screen and he provided no insight into why the screen was not working. Did a price comparison with another store and they quoted me $390 for a screen replacement. This place was trying to rip me off and I can't guarantee they won't do the same to you.

A service staff who is in the counter was absolutely kind and helpful for me. I'm a student from overseas and not good at computer so couldn't understand very well many times that what is and will happened to mine. But he has explained me patiently and finally I could understand all the conditions. Thank you very much who repaired my laptop and helped me patiently! ;)

Came here a couple of weeks ago - the guy took barely took a look at the computer (literally just one glance) and quoted me with an outrageous $395 for a simple screen repair (I have an Acer).

I ended up ordering the part from Ebay for $120 and repairing it myself.

Very disappointed. I read the good reviews here and dropped off my laptop which was shutting down randomly. After a week I was told that the entire motherboard would need replacing. Quoted approx $900. Asked if it could be repaired and was told it would break within a few months. I then called several other repair shops who told me this was nonsense. Picked up my laptop without repairing having lost $80 for diagnosis. Turns out this was a $400 dollar repair elsewhere. I asked if the laptop had even been opened up and the man at counter said no. So I had paid for someone to do a simple utility scan. I was happy to pay a fair price for the computer being fixed but absolutely resent being ripped off. Buyer beware.

I have no words to express how happy I am with the service I received here. While I was in Australia travelling on a backpacker budget with little money, my mac stopped detecting the SSD. I was desperate cause I didn't have the tools to replace it. I came to C1 and they fixed it for free within 5 minutes. You can find the shop inside the building, first floor office 1.07!

Brought my Macbook Air 13" A1466 Early 2015 into C1 after an entire glass of water was spilled over the keyboard. The computer turned off immediately. They charged me $80 upfront to assess my computer and they let me know that $80 would come off the of total at the end. After assessment, they let me know that my Logic Board and Keyboard needed to be replaced, gave me the quote of $550 and the repairs would take 7-10 business days. I received my laptop computer back in working order within the 7-10 business days and was charged $470 ($550 subtract the initial $80). I am appreciative of their service at a fair price.

Would highly recommend!

Extremely disappointed. Paid $80 to be told my MacBook Air had liquid damage and I absolutely had not spilled any liquid on it and I live alone so no chance of anyone else doing it either. I was told I had to pay $295 for the logic board - this was all over the phone, I was then sent an email quote that said there was now a big chance of replacing key board as well as there was lots of liquid damage On key board as well total cost would be just short of $500.
This is where they lost me, it felt like they take advantage of people with little knowledge of computers and make things up. I had not spilled any liquid so I took my computer without fixing and they charged me $80 for that lie. Turns out my laptop has NO LIQUID damage at all upon taking it to another repair shop. You are scamming people, hope the $80 make you that little bit richer.

Such a good experience. The staff is very nice and they fix the problem really quickly. I broke my MacBook Pro screen, brought it to them at 5: 45pm then it was fixed and ready for pick up the next day at 12pm! You've earned yourself a loyal customer and will spread the word about how good this store is. Price wise is quite expensive (although is still cheaper than getting it replaced in Apple stores), but they definitely did a great job.

Good service. Dropped my laptop and wouldn’t turn on properly. Had it back to me in working order for about $80. No complaints here.
