Bunnings Notting Hill reviews
57 What a fantastic experience!
Tyra was so helpful & went above and beyond to help me, she actually demonstrated to me how to achieve the outcome I was after in the paint section at Notting Hill. Lovely girl & fantastic service. Thanks Tyra. They really need to put you in the Bunnings Commercial. 5 stars from me.
Normally a good Bunnings with no issues however I went in, with a toddler, a trolley (and pregnant belly) and purchased items then asked for a box cutter to cut down some boxes I pulled out of the free box section to take home to help move house, pulled 8 out and cut 5 down THEN only after I cut them down did they tell me I couldn’t have more than 3 as it was “policy” …
My issue is, why couldn’t have she told me BEFORE I cut down the boxes or pulled them out.
My husband also was told to go to isle 78.there is no such thing.
Shameful staffing.
All good, parked in trade, staff happy serving double time, I do believe there is one way to improve the experience.the hard workers deserve to feel appreciated and understood.
The Trade Tuck Truck.
Twice I've been here.both times have had to explain to multiple staff that Bunnings does in fact accept afterpay, tried to use calm voice and explain how the app works just like any other card, as well as show where in the official bunnings FAQ website it says in-store accepts afterpay, staff member refused to look or listen, unwilling to help, saying it's not in their system and raising their voice until they let me take it to the information desk where someone more trained helps me out and processes it in 2 secs.same thing again today, I even explained how I experienced this same issue just a few weeks back and how they processed it.man at the counter said "they shouldn't have done that". All counter staff need more training.customers shouldn't have to go through abuse and waste time if this payment option is in fact available.
Really bad costumer service at the counter, at the trade desk and at the timber yard. In addition the staff is very incompetent and arrogant
Been going here for a long time.
Very happy until yesterday.
Our faucet broke and went to Bunnings for a new one. We asked a staff for help and she said “I can’t help you with that. ”
We asked why and she said “I’m not responsible for your decision. ”
We then said a range of products would be good. She said “this is not my job”
Recommending Bunnings to use robots as the staff is only responsible to load and unload inventory.
Could not be more disappointed.
I shopped there two weeks ago on Sunday. Team member in the power tool area is so rude and impatient. He actually walked away when I am asking for help. Then give me very false advise. Refuse to further help with Bunning price match policy. Absolutely disgusted.
Later visited another Bunnings store all issues were sorted.
Huge range of everything! If you struggle like I do to find things, download the Bunnings app - it not only shows if they have what you want in in stock, but now also shows you a map of where to find it for the Notting Hill store which will reduce shopping time and (hopefully) reduce "ooh I need that, and that and. " as well!
Had register power card and havent got it send.
Other bunning will still give the privillage of power card as it hasnt Arrived.
This particular bunning is a big no and make it difficult
Waited 20 mins for click and collect. Called twice to check where my order was whilst waiting, first call rang out and second call they put me on hold.
Great place to shop, hassle free returns & warm welcoming staff. Special mentions to Vanessa (help-desk/returns & Vera, Nick & David (tradedesk/timberyard) … All items for my planters purchased from Bunnings with the fantastic assistance from all staff!
Great Bunnings store. Easy to get around and staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My favourite Bunnings store.
Notting Hill Bunnings is a weird one. It's in a repurposed warehouse and because of this it doesn't have the standard layout. Visiting various Bunnings frequently, I generally know where everything is and can get what I need quickly. However here, a lot of sections are in different areas and took me ages to find. Thankfully staff do know where everything is, and everything I needed was in stock. So the 1/2 a dozen things I needed from different sections took me instead of 15 minutes, closer to an hour! I asked at least 4 staff for locations and every single one was friendly, cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable. Real customer service from everyone from the greeters to the cash register staff!
Another Bunnings not covid safe.
Inwards cross the path where customers finished buying.
Learn from Narre Warren, Moorabin or Frankston stores.
Will not come back till covid has finished.
Very friendly staff members throughout the store. Katia from paint department was super helpful and was kind enough to share her recommendations with paint related products!
A great place to get what you need and the advice. Good place to also get what you don't need because of variety.
Good experience
Last Friday afternoon a blond girl in the painting area helped me a lot with an issue that I had with a wall in my apartment. Although, English isn't my first language she puts herself into my shoes and was very patient until understand what I needed. She explained everything and now I fixed the problem up and the wall looks perfect. If a friend need something, I will definitely recommend this store in Notting hill. What an excellent customer service! Thanks
1 register open and (whilst not entirely her fault) the young lady on that register was panicked. Meanwhile plenty of other Bunnings employees standing around doing nothing much.
Customer service is bit chaotic
Especially nursery section
But really found it a good place to buy plants and house equipment within budget
The only business that will abuse you if you don't wear a mask even tho you have a medical certificate. The staff will harrass you while you walk around the store if you are unable to wear a mask. I counted 4 times in 10 minutes where I end up walking out of the store after screaming at their staff. I WILL NEVER VISIT A BUNNINGS STORE EVER AGAIN!
