I say don't bother if you're a tradie (especially if you have a tall van as I do and can't use underground car park). Trying to access the trade/pick up area is tedious and infuriating at best, I cannot remember going there and it's not blocked by delivery trucks, it's closed, barriers across, a line of vehicles trying to get in - once you're blocked in there's no way out. I refuse to go to this store, I will go out of my way to avoid it.

I find everyone at this Bunnings. Very helpful, knowledgable, customer focused, approachable, etc. All those positives you want in customer service.
If someone doesn't specialise in the area you need? They quickly get someone that does.
I rely on public transport. And from the Holmesglen station I can walk (5mins) or bus (one stop) to this store.

It's another Bunnings, the staff are friendly and helpful.
It's a smaller store than some so check online if they've got what you need.

A huge variety of goods and very nice staff. Always ready to help you and navigate you to the right direction to find your product what you look for.

Love Bunnings. Did not know where to get outdoor furniture coverings. One of the nice staff looked it up for me. I love their plants

Strange layout Bunnings. But has most indoor things you need. But I’d go to a bigger one for some stuff

Parking I have found to be easy at this centre but I have only been there midweek. Bunnings - same helpful staff, broad product range.

When I went into the chadstone depot today, the store had both an aboriginal and Torres strait island flag taped to their concrete columns at the entrance, however no Australian flag was erected. I have no issue with people flying any flag, but to not include the Australian flag while flying the other two seems pretty disrespectful to all those who hold the Australian flag dear. Additionally, considering that both flags that were flown are a matter of controversy (especially politically) it is pretty disappointing that a national corporation would be (or are allowing their staff to) take such a one-sided stance. I prefer my home/hardware providers to be a little more apolitical. Sell me your products - not your social policies

* Update *
Today would have taken the gold medal for poor customer service. So much so that Dayna (customer service) was aggressive, rude & frankly incapable of behaving in a professional manner. A combination of inconsistent store policies from day to day, implications that I was lying when returning a ute, complete deafness to any points that didn't fit the customer service representative narrative etc. I couldn't have delivered worse service if I had tried.
I've been left feeling uneasy about using Bunnings in the future as it seems like it's own kingdom where chaos rules. Should you see this review Dayna, please know that I wouldn't put you in charge of sticking stickers to bananas & I'd probably recommend shifting out of a customer facing role.

That said. Damian from the trade section was fantastic (what a conflicted review)

I had sensational service in the plumbing section today. An employee flagged me down to make sure I was ok and followed up (and corrected my poor choice) a few minutes later. Thank you very much for having capable people on hand.

I don’t know why the masses go so bananas for Bunnings. I will never order anything from them again online. Their customer “service” is atrocious, especially if you are trying to follow something up by telephone or online.

Great staff, but small bunnings, normally have what I need, not much in the way of timber, go to a bigger store

This is one of my locals it's a small bunnings but the staff are just not top notch, took them a paint to retint and match i stuffed it up the cplour had too much blue and needed to be cream, nope says the paint man can't unring the bell he says. Rubbish i said your just dont have the bells to do it. So i took the tin to Sth Oakleigh matey Jason there turned blue to brown for me, your a god my mate and saved me 100. The entire team at Oakleigh is like that it is the place for advice the other stores are for lpg exchange and a pair of tongs. Go to this place if it's close but not for advice for that go to Oakleigh

Service was despicable! Store was dead quiet and was looking at products on a shelf wasn’t standing in the way of anyone when A staff member goes about and is singing to himself quite loudly when he walks in front of me to sweep nothing on the floor. In a Very rude tone he says excuse me. Another occasion I see a staff member bouncing a ball against the wall especially at the front entrance. Not a very good look and unprofessional!

Great spot but the light strip I bought had obviously been sold before then put back on shelf.

The self adhesive tape had paint all over it like it was attached then removed.

Apart from that the tool shop is killer with a much wider range than larger stores.

Also thier foam and rubber selection is really good.

If you're looking for plants or some wood for a project I'd suggest a larger store.

Purchased paint for a vintage furniture refurb. When asking for assistance received quite a few smirks from the male staff who obviously didn't think a woman should be anywhere near their paint department but nevertheless purchased paint and asked for it to be mixed with a tint. They gave it a shot, put sticky tape on the lid and when it was taken home it was found to be unmixed. Perhaps they didn't think a woman would know the difference? Looks like I will have to return with the paint can and see if the numb nuts can get it right this time!

Smaller than most Bunnings as it is inside a homemaker centre but it still has an outdoor area upstairs and most things you'd get from any Bunnings! Great use of the space.
