Bun Bun Bakery reviews
69Been back from Vietnam for 2 weeks and was craving a Bahn Mi and I can say these were better than Madam Kahn's in Hoi An. I had BBQ pork balls delicious, Paul had roast pork. They added extra crackling which was lovely and crunchy. The rolls were super crunchy too. We drove from FTG to Springvale and it was worth it.
The food is good. They don't have an eftpos machine though. This is one of the busiest bakeries in Melbourne. How much are they scamming the ATO?
Easily the best bahn mi you'll find in Melbourne! And at an unbeatable price! Be prepared to line up.
One of the most famous Banh Mi joint in Melbourne South East. Currently it priced at around $9/roll.
Definately give it a shot when you are around
Incredibly tasty banh mi, speedy service and great prices.
A great place for take away.
Love this place for banh mi, everything fresh due to high turnaround and so tasty. We drive from Doncaster East to Springvale just for these.
Honestly their roasted chicken was looking the best and we ordered that. They were delicious!
I bought few buns and BBQ Pork. When I want to eat, I saw all the worms cover the foods! It’s not fresh!
Bun bun bakery should be more like yum yum bakery, been there a few times and it has not disappointed me yet, very consistent with the serving size and filling, highly recommend it
The place gets really busy at lunch time as they really fill their pork rolls. Prices have gone up with rolls on average $8.00.
These bahn mi's are delicious. I literally drive there 40 min to get them on the weekends but why does it say it's temporarily closed?: (
One of the best Bahn Mi bakeries around Melbourne.
Nicely prepared with fresh ingredients, well priced
They’re always a long queue at this place and it’s for good reasons. Meat a very tasty and the bread is fresh. Had the roast pork and it never disappoints. Crackling I’m on point and the sweet sauce is awesome. Recommended to eat fresh as the sauce can make it soggy.
DO NOT LET THE GUY TAKE UR ORDER!
Trust me on this. It is not the first time.
There is a young guy in the store who just don’t listen to what you order.
You ask for BBQ pork roll, he goes and make you a roast pork roll, you says NO onions, he grab onions for you.
Food is great, but this guy can’t even take simple orders. If you are unfortunate enough and get serve by him, MAKE SURE you look at what he is putting in your roll!
Personally Bun Bun's Banh Mi is one of the best in Melbourne. Their pate are to die for.
The absolute best Banh Mi/Pork rolls in Melbourne! There’s a big line during lunch time on the weekend and parking can be tricky but it’s definitely worth it! Cash only
Had the lemongrass chicken which was tasty, tender and fragrant balanced with the pickled carrots and greens. The roll was crispy and the pate and butter were creamy and delicious.
So delicious! Definitely worth the hype!
I got the got the Roast crispy Pork. The bread was crusty on the outside and soft in the middle. The pork and the pate were packed full of flavour!
Roast pork roll was amazing! Customer service was also fantastic. Definitely a place I will return to in future
We would have given zero star if there's an option. Travel 20kms, queued up almost 20 mins to get 2 grill chicken rolls. Left the shop straight away as soon as we paid as we only got a 15mins park. Guess what on our way home we realized we were given 2 grill pork rolls, called up to complain got hang up by someone from other end. Never buy from this place again!
