Very pleased with the room. Better than what l had expected. Very central to all l needed. Would stay again

Perfect location (close to shops and the metro), immediate and friendly service, excellent hygiene.

Location was alright close to main road, trams, shops, train station - but this hotel was previously a hospital (eek) my mums room didn't have a microwave - parking is somewhat enough but is hard to get into if you have a big car and its one way in and out - staff were amazing - lift was terrifying - hotel was not for me but not bad pricing

I would not like to walk to and from this hotel by myself at night

We had a nice 2 night stay. Very clean and rooms were exactly what we expected. Great spot close to train, tram and allllll the delicious food of Sydney rd is a minute walk away.

Receptionist was really arrogant and rude over the phone. Im appalled. Threatened to cancel booking for asking questions? Are you actually serious. Never booking or stepping close to the hotel again.

Simple but very clean and tidy rooms, price and location excellent. Free parking and the staff were very friendly and helpful also, definitely recommend

Clean and convenient. Mary at the reception was great and was very accommodating to us.

The room had a nice warm air con and extra blankets.

Very comfortable budget room for two w/ensuite. Service was great, location great (a 50m walk to city tram 19 which goes down Sydney Road to Flinders Street station. Wish some guests were a little more mindful of other people (thumping about like a herd of elephants, letting their brats shriek like banshees etc) but altogether a pleasant stay. Bonus is free car parking at the back and free Wi-Fi (didn't use it but I'm sure it's fine!)
Will definitely stay here again if we come to Melbourne.

We were apprehensive after some of the reviews, but we found the hotel room to be very clean, with renovated bathroom. Crisp clean sheets, new soft towels. Friendly front staff with The Moreland pub on the corner with its amazing Roman decor, complete with a statue of David. Nice breaky place on opposite corner.

Very tidy rooms and facility. Service staff are very friendly and were able to accommodate late check in and check out. Great location just off Sydney road and easy access to the city. Would stay here again.

One bed base was so broken that the only thing holding it together was the mattress, even then it sagged.

Chipboard was flaking from the other bed bases in the room that by the end of one night, chips covered the floor.

There was a wet patch that was slowly growing on the wall.
A millipede had made itself a home in one of the beds.

My baby was eating the previous guests soggy cereal that she found under the bed.

Massive cracks in the ceiling and walls which is ok however huge parts of walls had paint that had bubbled and was peeling away with what looked like damp/mould unsettle paint.

Room was filthy.

Staff were polite and the bathroom was passable but I decided to check out early because I couldn’t stay there another night in good conscious for the health and well-being of my young children.

It was ok, the rooms could use a more thorough clean before check in as we found a few indicators of it not being cleaned fully. BYO pillows if possible. Otherwise completely fine for what you pay for, staff lovely at front desk. Good location by a tram line and right by Sydney Road.

I have stayed at this cute boutique hotel for weeks at a time. The rooms are compact but with full amenities. They are very clean. What makes this hotel is Alwin and his team, he provides service from the heart and his team are always friendly and helpful
The hotel is in a great location with secure parking and an elevator if you are loaded up. Lots of restaurant and coffee shops within a 5 minute walk. Trams at the door and 2 mins to the station.

It is good place to stay, comfortable, quiet place and friendly staff welcoming at Brunswick Tower Hotel. They are accommodating, nice room, clean and have safe parking also near Okami restaurant which is very good when you are hungry at night. So far it is great experience and we like staying there.

Stayed 5 nights, for business close by and couldn't have been happier. What a valuable find. Great place to stay. Friendly staff, excellent combination of price and location, with a world class Japanese restaurant on site and plenty of other cafe's and hotels within walking distance. Trains and trams right on your doorstep.
Would highly recommend.

Excellent place and close to the city.
Park the car in the hotel and can use public transport (tram stop at the door step and train station is few meters away from the hotel).
Worth of every penny.

The two male managers I spoke to on different occasions were extremely rude! One of them hung up on me. The room was very dirty and to make matters worse there was dried bloodstain on the ironing table. Inside and outside was very dirty. I sat outside on one of the chairs and when I got up there was a heap of dust on my clothes. Never again!
